    When she said turmeric the first thing that came to my mind was my grandmother giving me turmeric milk.
    First she will heat the milk and add turmeric powder, then while the milk is heating up she will add pepper and after letting it heat for a little more she will give it to me before sleep. That time I didn't know it had that many benefits. Now I am going to ask my grandmother to give it daily for me again.☺

      Please use ice-cube. Place in a cotton handkerchief or a small cotton cloth & rub in circular motion everyday where pimples are every morning after brushing. Ice-cube dries pimples or acne faster than creams. Make sure you don't use ice directly on the face bec our skin is sensitive. Pimples caused due to toxic liver or hormonal imbalances. Green drink will help so much to clear toxins from our body. If the liver is not digesting well also it cause breakouts & other illnesses. Beauty outside is from the inside. Try to research what she is allergy of. I had gone thru alot. I am sharing this thru my experiences. There are so many hot foods that my body didn't accept. I stopped eating those foods & I got good results. I can help if you are interested for further suggestions. Thank you😊

Just a little warning though anyone with gallstones or gallbladder problems be careful with dandelion as there are some interactions.

    •You should never add honey while cooking. Add honey afterward. Because *heated honey is poison*
    •you can use cow milk if you don't suffer from any lactose problem. ( I use cow milk because other kinds of milk are not available in my country. Even if there are it is super expensive compared to cow milk and I'm poor)

    I have had acne forever and this year, i started to change my skincare from harsh acne skincare to gentle skincare and my diet.
    Today my skin looks amazing, i don't have any acne whatsoever.
    In the morning when i wake up i drink a glass of water + a big cup of greentea.
    Am skincare : micellar water, toner, hyaluronic acid, mosturizing cream with ceramids, sunscreen
    I keep drinking tea (mostly black) and water during the whole day
    Pm : double gentle cleansers, toner, niacinamide acid, retinol serum and mosturizing cream with ceramids
    I believe my skin looks that way because of the combination of how i take care of it from the inside and outside. I used to believe that harsh acne cleansers were the solution to my acne problems but it actually made it worst.
    I stopped putting sugar in my tea, i don't drink coffee anymore. I try to integrate more veggies in my diet and drink more water. I try to sleep at least 7 hours a night.
    For skincare, i believe gentle is key : i'm using cerave hydrating cleanser and mosturizing cream (super gentle and unexpensive). It repaired my skinbarrier that was broken due to the harsh acne products. I believe niacinamide and retinol serums are also helping.
    Thank you Beauty within, you have helped me find my balance to keep my skin from breaking out through your videos ❤️❤️❤️

    Watching your videos definitely helps me lower my cortisone / stress levels because you make me smile constantly 🖤. All of this makes so much sense. I have tried apple cider vinegar & lemon juice, also ginger brewed on its own, & I saw an improvement in the way my body was processing all of my toxins. I come from an abusive domestic background, In the last 5 years I started taking time for myself to hydrate & prepare these types of drinks each day, it really was a turning point for my on my path to wellbeing. Something about catching the first moments of the day & feeling that warm tingle in my belly haha it is so grounding & truly feels like a reset that I can always count on. I have severe cycts which are full of glass & "unidentifiable materials" [according to my biopsy] over my jaw, throat, chest & shoulders & back. There's no information as to what incident in my childhood caused this, perhaps a severe car crash or falling through a glass table. My body has been working hard to purge the shrapnel for almost 20 years.
    I would really love to know what information is out there for someone with my skin condition. I might be too rare & sort of 1% to hope for such a video! Lol

    Loved the way you explained the drink's recepie along with its benefits and how it treats the root cause of acne. I am one of those 1 acne a month person and used a lot of external products including creams, face washes, face packs and what not. Watching this informative video made me realized that this problem should be treated from inside not outside which a lot of people do for fast results. If a good drink can give you more benefits then why not!
    I have plenty of time in this lockdown to try these. Cheers to good work!

    I'm sorry, I love this channel, but at 7:07, if you actually read the exerpt from the study, they said only 2 out of 12 (which is already a tiny sample size) people showed any legitimate reaction to the tumeric treatment. AND they didn't even have a control group for this study, meaning that the findings don't really hold any ground. The study even says that further research is required before actually recommending it. This is classic cherry picking to prove a point.
    One thing I learnt from doing my bachelor's, is that you cannot trust every study you come across because not all journal articles are representative of good science.
    I am sure there is nothing wrong with taking tumeric, and for SOME people there may be legitimate benefits, however, it frustrates me when ingredients are promoted so heavily without proper consideration.

    • @ruth8461
      @ruth8461 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @B S I 100% agree with you. I just think it is unfair to claim that something has a specific effect "backed by science" when it isn't.
      The people watching these videos are coming here for an educational purpose. Therefore I believe they have a responsibility to try being as accurate as possible.
      If they had said what you just commented, I would not have had an issue with it at all.

    • @taylorfloyd3793
      @taylorfloyd3793 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      OMG THANK YOU!!! As a neuro PhD, it bugs the shit out of me when people cite literature claiming that science backs up holistic claims for certain ingredients when in fact, the study they're referencing was either overall poorly designed, had a small sample size (i.e. even the positive effects you saw aren't statistically significant), had NO controls (omg I just... I can't)...
      Now I get that not everyone is well versed in reading/sifting through scientific papers: it's fucking hard lol. And I'm not saying that tumeric isn't useful. But I also want to emphasize that using science to back up these claims, when in fact it doesn't, is not only harmful but completely biased and wrong.

    For the turmeric latte I think it's better if you add the honey/maple syrup after the drink has cooled down a bit. Maybe try not to mix it when its boiling cause if I'm not mistaken heat can kill the antioxidant property that we want in the honey/maple syrup. Please correct me if I am wrong
