I love the look of these. The upper is like a throwback to the LunarGlide 3 and 4 which were some of my favorite runners
at our age, "can't have too much cushion but can't have too little" - that is my knees talking to me.
I was curious about the changes. Bought the 36s for my wife and she is loving them. I’m not a runner unless put a ball in my hand...more of I get bored. Props to you just picking up running a 5k lol Thank you for all your videos def makes my day seeing you and Mrs Wing!!
im beginning to like this channel more just because im a baller for most of my life.. then im into running for the past 2 years.. i didnt completely left basketball, i still play if i have the chance.. i ball for like everyday but now, i only play for like 3-4 times a week (before the lockdown).. to compensate the reduced basketball playing time, i decided to run.. so i run every morning almost everyday.. started from 3kms, then 5kms.. before the lockdown 1 run about 10kms every morning.. i just turned 36.. April 29.. :D
The 35 for me is still the best out of the pegasus line from previous years. Thank you for the review as I was so hyped on getting the 37 when i watched the nike ads.

I used to play a lot of basketball with my brothers, time has passed and we don't longer live in the same city, nor the same countries. Now I'm mostly running to get my exercise. I can't emphasize how much joy it brings me seen your running shoe reviews because guys I watch all of your videos, skate shoes, jordans, everything. It just feels so dope to get the same energy on these reviews I binged and overanalyzed when I was younger and looking for my next ball shoes, but for my runners. Been a fan since a long time and just love how much this channel has grown.

Ran through the 36s since the quarantine. Been running in the Infinity React recently. Definitely excited for these based on your description of the big zoom bag.
36 is amazing. Wear it for all purpose. Can’t wait to grab this one.

I'm not a runner so this isn't a shoe I'm in the market for (although the cushion setup has me tempted to grab them for casual use), but I really enjoyed how thorough and focused this review was. It felt like you guys didn't leave any stone unturned.
Great review. I also felt like my heels were getting out during my first run. However I think it’s a really great shoe. They are light and it makes me feel bouncy and going. Great product.
Great vid!! I’ve been a long time Peg user since 1997. Definitely want to try this new set up....especially since I love the articulated full length zoom and cushlon set up. I’ll def keep in mind the narrow fit. I use runners for my everyday ...I’m grinding down my second pair of Peg 35s.

Thanks for the heads up on the size issue with the shoe. While I wear size 14 no matter what size 14 is different between different brands. I looking for a third shoe in my running rotation and it ain't gonna be those of the size is a concern. Also major props for Chris running 3 5k's in a row! Major claps for that

The pegasus 2 didn't have zoom did they. They have zoom x foam i think the 36 are the first pegasus with zoom air
I notice that you heel strike when you run. As a sports science student, I can verify that heel strike running can lead to knee and back related injuries overtime.
Try to run in the mid foot, it can greatly reduce injuries. I think that is what the pegasus 37 aims for as most runners run in their mid/forefoot.
Will be keen to try these, but I have to say, for what is regarded as old tech, the 35s have had an absolutely perfect implementation of Cushlon and Zoom Air.
I just purchased my 1st pair today. The Pegasus 37 UNC. So I remember u did a review on these shoes. I wear a 12 & have flat feet so I'm glad I got a size 12.5. Thanks for your review. It help me out on the size.

One runner store I’m familiar with is called Road Runner. Also, if you buy from Nike and become a Nike plus member they allow for testing or trying out the shoe. Should you not like it or it hinders your fit you can return it. Love the work you guys do!
I know what you mean about the low heel. I went from running in Huaraches to the Pegasus 36. I really missed the sock of the Huarache and it took me about a week to get used to the change.

I got the 36's to ref basketball in and they are awesome. Perfect balance of support and cushion for me.

Glad to know you're running Chris! How about try New Balance's FuelCell line? I find that they're responsive enough to get that ground feel you were talking about but will still provide enough cushion. But yeah, that's just me lol

Pegasus are the most comfortable shoe for running or jogging. My joints and knee love them.
@Yahudrick R Raj-Indra as said on the review and base on experience coz the peg is on my shoe rotation for running. Try it first because the fit is a little tight and has a narrow sole not good for stability especially when your lifting weights.
Had to jump on to sneaker history see if they had the shirt before this review started. Sold out both black and red :( came back to finish watching the review

Are these more narrow than the 35 and 36? How's the fit compared to the epic react fk? Cuz I always found the Pegs a little snug when you first try them, but they loosen after a few miles. The epic reacts upper never seemed to break in for me and was always too suffocating.
the egg advert is what sold me to Peg 37, but I haven't tried/bought it
i have had peg 36 for over a year and they were so comfortable, i wore them everyday. i even played a couple bball games in them lol
Does anyone know if Nike is going to bring back the zoom Pegasus turbo this year? I would love to see a turbo 3 but haven't been able to find any info on it. Looking for any and all help thanks.
I always come back to the Pegasus. It's so light and the Zoom makes it so springy. Next year they'll probably just do the full length Zoom with the bigger bags. The React foam is the killer piece on these tho, I'm definitely picking these up in a year when they're $55.99 at the Nike outlet. For now, I'll grab the 36 for cheap lol
I'm with Chris when it comes to running. I'll play 2 or 3 straight hours of 5's without sitting out a game, but I cannot for the life of me run a 5K coming to a brisk walk a couple times. I also ran track in high school so I'm used to running 100 and 200 meters at 100%.

Didn't you like that react with forefoot zoom set up in the Jordan havoc react?
It seems that many of the Nikes in the past 5 or so years run crazy narrow and tight. I always have to go up a half or whole size. I do need a runner, because I'm in the same no-gym situation and I have to get a decent running shoe.

Have you ever heard of On running shoes? Swiss engineered and pretty amazing on foot. I run, but mostly for to pass my Air Force PT test...lol but this shoe line is legit.

The 37s move towards the forefoot runner and promote forefoot running. For those who are heel strikers would probably prefer the 36
So because I love your content so much and and chemistry between you and your wife, I asked my wife to be in a video on my channel (to tone down the "Bro'ness" lol) and OMG I already on pace to get more views then ever. Ya'll inspire me with every video thats for the education, comedy, opinions, love and overall good content.
You can try lacing the shoes differently. It helps change the fit. I've done that with one of my DC skate shoes so it hugs the top of the foot more than the front of the foot.
Will you review the new cushion on asics running shoe?

The first Air Pegasus was from 1983, and I think my first Pegasus shoe was the 2008 version or the 25. The numbering doesn't necessarily indicate that's how many that were released, according to the Complex article for the shoe's 30th anniversary, since they sometimes didn't have yearly Pegasus releases.
Anyways, the first one to have Zoom was the 27, I believe. The ones prior to the 27 appear to only have Air as the "bag tech." I was looking at Poshmark to see which one was the first to have Zoom. You could tell by looking at the bottom of the shoe and seeing the words, "zoom air."
I love the Pegasus because I've been able to purchase them at the Nike Factory Store for like $30 to $40 with the 28, 30, 31, 33, and 34. I skipped the 35 and 36 because I don't like that low cut of the shoe at the heel. I didn't like the thin tongue of the 36 and the Zoom Turbo 2. It's making me consider a different shoe for running now.
Can you do basketball in there? How can it handle shifty side way moves?

Allergies kicking me in the face too. Trying to get a run in during Corona is painful. This may be my first running shoe I buy in a while since the gyms are closed.
Pegasus are my go to running shoe! The 37s are nice.
i recently picked up the pegasus 34 and even in the store i didn't catch how narrow they were until i got home (at the store i thought they were just a snug fit). i decided to return them before it was too late.
Would this shoe be good for stability type runners?
I love when you do running shoes - and some of us run marathons doing run/walk/run and I love it. I just ordered these - in a wide. Let's see if even the wide is too narrow.

@@WearTesters tried the wide. It's a no go. I read the review at your website and it is spot on. The challenge is in foot shape. The wide is plenty wide but right at/below the ball of the foot on the medial side it rubs a lot with what seems like reinforced seams (?). I'm a midfoot striker and I could not get a good stride in. I'm going back to the Infinity React.
well, when i had no ball shoe or mine has been destroyed back then, I use my running shoes for balling. can use this pegasus 37 because of zoom

Some of my grails are things like airmax 2015/2016 and pegasus, some normal running shoes are straight fireeeee 🔥🔥

back and forth
Pro tip - Throw the shoes in the washing machine on the cold water setting (very important) & regular cycle. The second they come out the washer, cram a few hand towels into the toe box and forefoot area as tight as you can & allow to dry. It will stretch the material out & give you more foot room. I’ve done this with several different styles of shoes.

Thanks for the review as Nike usually for me way too snuggly. So much so that I haven't bought one in over 20 years and have been wearing Asics and Hokas ever since with some New Balance and Brooks sprinkled in every so often. Guess I really do have to go to Fleet Feet and try these on as I love the way they look but have been very hesitant to buy them online.

for running , you need to go always half a size up or even one size up... your feet need more space to avoid injuries while running

From a store tryon the 36s were for narrow feet. We dont get multiple widths for nikes here in PH. The part that is hard is convincing urself that some shoes are not for you even if the reviews or even the looks says otherwise.

Would this shoe be ok for walking?
Nike has been promoting the infinity react so hard before this.. it costs more, has no zoom air, and the upper is just an overly marketed sock. Definitely copping these once I need new running shoes and better colorways come out
I have semi-wide feet and wondering if going up a full size at 10.5 from 9.5 will be okay to compensate for the width? It will leave me roughly 1/4th of an inch of space in length, not including socks. Is that manageable without my heel slipping? First time buying shoes for performance.
You’ll have a lot of heel issues. It’s recommended that you grab a wide version if that’s what you need.
