      I plan on using them for both running and walking at the local parks in Las Vegas . I also go into some of the neighborhoods that have a lot of hills . I’m not a fast runner but being older I’m learning I need more cushion shoes than I did three years ago . The Pegasus always fit my narrow Asian feet perfectly. I’ve also been trying other shoes that never before appealed to me until I started watching the TH-cam running community videos. I’ve been trying the ASICS novablast and Hoka Clifton 6 for the first time . Since I’m laid off have nothing better to do than run . I feel being outdoors makes me healthier. Good luck and health to you . My boyfriend loves your training videos!

Aside from that, It’s a great time to try out get some insight from various people in the community and and find the pair/ pairs that suit you best. Please tell your boyfriend thank you for watching as well and that I have some upcoming training videos on the way. 🙌🏾

    • @JordanThomasmedia

      ASICS have been delivering for years! The innovation up until this year was just a little lagging so I switched over to Nike as my primary. That’s a cool lineup, I haven’t heard much about he NB 1400s. Are they a NB marathon specific shoe?

    • @Throp
      @Throp 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JordanThomasmedia The 1400's are my favorite racing shoe. I don't think they're marathon specific. They're super flat/close to the ground which is what has attracted me to them. Thanks for watching! I did a full review of the 36 a while back. That you can find on this channel. If you plan on working up to the marathon and like more cushioning, I would recommend these. after all the hype I decided to get a pair of nike's I went to the shoe store to try on the peg 37. they slipped out of the heal cup and was narrow in the toe box. so I decided to get them custom made for me. after 2 weeks they arrived. I have worn them several times and used different methods to tie my shoes. Even though I had order a wide version they still felt too narrow in the toe box and I wish I had ordered the extra wide version. the heal still slips in and out still and I feel like this shoe will never make my shoe rotation. I love my fuel cell rebel, kinvara 11, truimp 17, and Clifton 6 they fit great out the box the first time and inspires me to run for miles.

      Jordan Thomas I feel like 32 had a perfect combo of cushion and support so I can take it for fast pace to long runs. something about the 33 was off(maybe it’s the shoe I got) but the middle part of the shoes had a big difference between the heel part of the shoe to the forefoot so every time my foot landed it felt weird. 34 I skipped .... 35 feel like it was just too squishy/ soft and my feet was getting tired after 30 minute of running. 36 I skipped.... but the 37, I’m a big fan on the react.

      While these are running shoes, I believe you will find these a bit more forgiving. Especially in the forefoot and the toe box. Fortunately I have worn both and so I can relate to wanting something that is less restrictive.

    I'm looking for a new running shoe! I ran old zoom fly to the ground. I'm more of a distance runner and looking for something comfortable. My usual run is a 5k most days and I throw in longer runs here and there. As far as Nike is concerned, I've been looking at Pegasus 37 and vapor fly next%. I also recently tried a brooks running shoe transcend 7 in store and liked the cushion on them. I'm just looking for a performance shoe that can help increase my time, has cushion and bounce, and makes my feet feel reasonably okay after my run.
    Also looking for a training shoe for the gym LOL. Any suggestions would be great

    • @JordanThomasmedia
      @JordanThomasmedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re used to a half size up in Nike you should be good to go. I went my usual 11.5 and felt like the forefoot and toe box was a little wider than previous versions. I do have a narrower foot if that helps. Let me know if that’s helpful
