Took my 38s out today for my first run in them. I love the wider toe box and the tongue. The contrasting colors will take some getting used to but the fit is worth it! I loved my 37s but I think these are just a tad bit better 👍
Bought these to wear around all day at work and they are awesome. If you are considering it for just a comfortable lifestyle shoe, it’s really plush and forgiving underfoot.
Nice work Seth! Interesting peg fact they skipped a year of release. I believe around 2001. So there have only been 37 iterations. Only reason I know this is I worked in a sneaker store back in the day. Think Complex also had an article on this a few years back. Appreciated the mix of casual and running perspective. 🙌🏾
I use the Pegasus 37 Shields as my work shoes and they are hella comfy and honestly when walking I think the cushioning feels a little better then all my Ultraboost and other react shoes and the zoom air in the forefoot feels great
When trying to get good sneakers the Pegasus 37's are my go-to sneakers, I have mild cerebral palsy, to which I need a great comfortable pair, I was looking at Hoka Clifton 7 or Bondi 7, what put me off these were the rubber sole, very little sole if anything, got 3 pairs of the Pegasus 37's to which they have been nothing short of amazing. I may get the 38's very soon, I pray Nike keeps this type of sneaker going a long time with the exact same amount of mid-sole as it can be difficult to find comfortable sneakers that will suit me.
I agree with the sizing! My size with all the previous pegasus/turbos was US 12.5( went up half a size) however, with pegasus 38, US size 12 was perfect! Stick to true to size!

Hi Seth. I just bought the ultraboost 20s and as an user of the first pure boost 1 I am very dissapointed. The boost on the ultraboost 20 is too hard and you can't almost feel it compared with the old boost versions where you can also hear it when walking/running. Do you agree? Is react more similar to the first pure boost feeling or more like the new boost versions? I use them for walking. Thanks for your videos!!

First of all, thank you so much for this informative and well-made channel :). I recently made a "Nike by You" -order for the Pegasus 38 and ran into a problem when I was trying to decide on which outsole I should go for. In addition to the normal ones, there was "waffle" and "storm-tread". Maybe you already have talked about these, but what outsole would you recommend for what type of usage? I finally chose the normal ones, but I was curious to hear your take on the matter. Thanks and keep up the good work!
waffle tread is the same tread as the invincibles and i believe the storm tread would be good for rain as the name states. i would go with the waffle personally, but depending on where you live the storm tread is a really good option too!
I love the pegasus line and have bought a ton for running and lifestyle. That being said im glad the 38's came out so i can get a bunch of 37's on discount

My trail 2 gortex started to peel up on the extra rubber on the nose. I had them a little over 60 days and sadly most the time was casual wear with only a few hikes. Luckily Nike allowed me to return them out of warranty.
