Finally , an honest review. I am quite fed-up of watching those videos from the "social media influencers," which have become all too predictable, and often not entirely honest.
i bought the peg turbo 2 with hakone same as yours a day before cb started in Singapore, and after reading your review i began trusting my shoes even more, because i dont feel is a fast shoes but yeah since you approve it's a fast shoes now for me! also i got the infinity react, tbh the IR the best overall in 2020.

Honeslty I used to watch you like a year ago and assumed you’d have Atleast 100k by now comming bascule because of cross country preseason and you deserve way more subs
Nice review. Had a similar experience after my first run. It was firmer than I expected after hearing it was softer than the 36 and despite full react. But it also felt faster than I expected, probably because of the firmness.
I recieved my Pegasus 37 yesterday and made my first 12 km running.Result is really amazing,you feel very relax and comfotartable in shoes while running which makes you run more and faster. You feel like you are running on the air.Comparing with my old running shoes Nike Downshifter 9 model, peg 37 made a huge difference .I would advise anyone who is looking for a stylish good running shoes.

I just picked up the Pegasus 37 it's my favorite running sneaker and I have the Pegasus Trail 2 and Nike Infinity react. Got them all the other day but that Pegasus 37 is a super comfortable shoe.

Enjoyed this comparison! (And purposely waited on watching this until I finished my review :)) I feel you on the wanting/thinking the Peg 37 should be like the Peg Turbo 2. I do think Nike had to make this move, because going back to the Peg 36 and the Turbo 2 there wasn't much difference between the two shoes with the exception of the outsole and ZoomX. With these changes, Nike made a shoe that is more easily identifiable as a true all arounder that you can go between 3-10ish miles without issue, but the Turbo 3s will likely be that 5k-marathon type training shoe that will continue to pair with the next%/ alphafly. Hope you're doing well.
I've been fan of pegasus since the model 31 and non of their procededor havent feel the same!

Run Like Heller are they a good pair of shoes for xc? Is it worth paying a extra 20$ for the 37 compared to the 36?
Adrian Haugee i would say so just because these can last a lot more than the peg 36. a lot softer and responsive in my opinion too
How much does the Pegasus 37 weigh preferably in grams as I am the same size shoe and will purchase if they are to heavy of a shoe?

Did you wear the Pegasus turbo 2 on track? The rubber of the outsole wear too quickly?
400 miles in the Turbo! Nice work. My main concern about the turbo of the zoom x bottoming out. Have you ever had an issue with this?
I don’t weigh that much, but I think the React on the bottom helps prevent it from fully bottoming out. Thanks for watching!

Cool review! I'm looking forward to get the Peg 37, I have never run in a pegasus before, although I have the peg 35 Turbo on size 9 and they are quite snug without getting me a black toe. Would it be a good idea to go a half size up for the peg 37 for every day trainer on easy pace?
The Peg 35 Turbo has a shallow toe box, the Peg 37 is definitely roomier, but it depends how snug they are
Fly wire is so outdated I’m happy they finally made that next step.

Really sad that the pegasus turbo 2 is being phased out. I mainly run on a track, and I love the turbo 2. I will definitely be picking up many pairs of the discounted turbo 2s.

Declan Whalen Are they being discontinued due to a manufacturing fault? Mine spot along the outsides on both shoes after about 4 months. I heard this had happened a lot.
@@Sugarnateofficial I had the midsole separation issue.. Although I love Turbo 2's, I think they are the best all-around running shoes, I don't think I am going to stock them up because of the separation issue.

Nope, it means the Turbo line itself is going extinct :( The Tempo Next% is replacing both the Peg Turbo and Zoom Fly lineups
I know some people say get the turbo 2 while it’s available, which makes sense if you already have them and love them. As I’ve not had the turbo but am looking to replace my 36s, the fact it’s being discontinued makes me think I should avoid it - if I love it I won’t be able to get another pair in future.
Vomero 15 will be amazing. It’ll have Zoom X and react.

I never looked at the Pegasus 37 as a adequate replacement for the Pegasus Turbo 2 .The Pegasus 37 is aimed more to the masses and can double as a lifestyle all purpose shoe. Back in the day it had more cachet because competition was sparse. I think Nike is looking more towards the Zoom Tempo Next% to fill the void. Unfortunately that goes the same for the Zoom Nike Fly series too. As a daily trainer where some will use it as racer, the composite plate on the Tempo Next% might be a little taxing for recovering sessions. Plus the $200 price point. Urgh. However; Nike is not going to concede the popularity of the Nike Turbo, they always have some surprise in the works. They just don't want to steal the thunder yet of all the hype right now the Pegasus 37 is receiving. Their marketing geniuses.

The Peg Turbo is being discontinued, so no new version for the 37. It’s being replaced by the Tempo Next%. Thanks for watching!

Thank you! The Peg 36 is definitely firmer than the Epic React and not quite as bouncy. I’d say it’s closer to the Zoom Fly FK without the carbon plate

The Boston is less cushioned and more firm, but it’s a good shoe! You also look into the Odyssey React as it’s very similar to the Epic React.

I hesite, wich do I choose please? Turbo 2 or Pegasus 37? I run 5k and 10k not really more. I don’t really speak English so it’s difficult to understand for me. I bought yesterday the turbo 2 and I don’t know if I should wait to buy Pegasus 37
Turbo 2 is soft and fast. The Pegasus 37 is firm and durable. I’d keep the Pegasus Turbo 2 if you like it.

I know I’m really late, but I do track and I run the 400 and 200 and I was wondering if it’d be good for me to get the turbo 2’s or the Pegasus 35 turbo’s
It’s pretty hard to find the Peg Turbos since they’re discontinued, but they would be the better option.
I think something more like the Zoom Steeak LT 4 may be better for those distances though.
@@tfxcShoes so I was able to find some 35 turbo’s on eBay and I also was able to find some Streak Lt 4’s online. So overall, the Lt’s would be better than 35’s right?
@@tfxcShoes I’m sorry I’m really not trying to be annoying, I practice on an asphalt track everyday and I just want something that would help me get faster and that I can also use on race day.
@@georgeomalley4322 I would use the the Pegasus as an everyday trainer that will comfortable mile after mile. If you’re looking for something for 200m and 400m races. The Streak would be a better option considering it’s a lot lighter and designed more for speed in my opinion.

Hi TF I live in the Caribbean in hot temperature. I am about to start "running" or more like jogging. I use to use a sketchers, I know they are not for running! But my feet started to be on fire so I stop. What you recommend Turbo 2 for $100 or Pegasus 37 for $120. Thanks

They’re very heavy, but also very bouncy. I’ve heard the newest ultraboost is better than some of the previous ones.

Lock down reminds me of the Rival. Peg 37 is a bit heavier but price is right vs Turbo 2.
Yes the lockdown system is pretty much the same as the Rival! I agree! Unless you find the Turbo 2 on sale

I know, I love the Peg Turbo! Nike doesn’t have plans on making a new version anytime soon if it at all unfortunately :(

The Peg 37 is $120 USD
pegasus 37 or zoom fly 3?
Both are very different. The Pegasus is an everyday trainer and the Zoom Fly is more uptempo/race oriented thanks to its carbon plate. I prefer not to do everyday mileage in a carbon plated shoe.

That's ridiculous to compare these two shoes and be disappointed by the Pegasus 37 bc it's not the Turbo 2. Compare it with the Peg 36, the Turbo 2 cost about 60$ more and is a lightweight racing shoe with a weight of about just 220g (the Peg37 about 285g)
These running shoes have fucked my foot up! Caused do much damage to my heel!!
