I have actually gained health and lost 7 kilos in lockdown :). Simply by eating 8 small meals a day, focussing on home made food, reducing sugar and dairy intake, and eating dinner at around 8:30 or 9. I am still overweight, and need to lose 8 kilos to be in the correct BMI, but hopefully will get there. A special tip: if you get sugar cravings, eat sabudana once a day and bread once a day, and you will find sugar cravings disappear. Atleast this worked for me, hope it works for you too!

when this question came about lactose intolerance n u ans that u can take that dahi i realised thats y in typical indian culture or i must say in Ayurved dahi n desi ghee include in ur daily routine, drinking milk is so weastern otherwise in indian culture even today in villages milk is given with turmeric for pain realif or who indulge in wrestling they drink milk with badam, for regular people we use dahi n ghee . India is great the only problem we hv nvr documented our things they just known as dadi nani k nuskhe

In fact If you see the construction workers from the west, they are way stronger than our Indian men. Of course they are genetically like that also . And authentic Italian pizza is very healthy . It’s made with good quality wheat flour, tomatoes, and vegetables. Same thing like we Indians eat but in different forms. What I don’t like about Rujuta is this. She teaches that only indian culture is good. It is good but we have to respect other cultures also.

Good tip for raisin . However, you will not get a curd with a spoon of curd water. You need a spoonful of curd during winters and half spoon during summers.

I have started this two days back. I am lactose intolerant. So I have a small bowl of curds which I set with black raisins every night. I am 66, diabetic, female as of now. May be these steps will help control diabetes I have read about experiments in Australia with fecal transplants that have reversed diabetes temporarily confirming the importance of gut health and the link of gut dysbiosis and diabetes. My bloating is much less. I am using lactose free milk for coffee but regular milk for curd The raisins feed the bacteria in curd I think. Probiotic capsules contain healthy bacteria as well as FOSO. Nopes. Milk being liquid will penetrate inside raisins and the nutrients of raisins will get realised in milk and then milk with added nutrients will get set as curd. Now this curd wld take abt 2 -12 hrs depending upon the weather to set so the raisins would release their nutrients for 2-12 hrs. Whereas leaving raisins in set curd will not give u this benefit. Watch video from 8:55 again
You do it right. Dont add any natural sweeteners to curd. Or even think of setting the curd with raisin / khajur etc. The end result is going to cause acid reflux. Basically dahi + any sugar needs to be avoided until your body compostion is primarily pitta type. Tab tak strictly avoid any type of sweet with milk. Instead have chaas without sugar after lunch (not night)daily. It will do you a world of benefit. But for that dahi ko luke warm water se hi churn kar lena please...not cold water. Warm water is conducive for better bacteria count. And you should rather have some soaked raisins empty stomach in the morning. I tried what was suggested in the video for 3 days straight with 3 different type of people i.e vata,pitta and kapha....and each one complained about ridiculous acid reflux. SEPARATELY both are great. 👌👌👌👌 Do not MIX them kindly. Just sharing from experience.☺😇

Nopes. Milk being liquid will penetrate inside raisins and the nutrients of raisins will get realised in milk and then milk with added nutrients will get set as curd. Now this curd wld take abt 2 -12 hrs depending upon the weather to set so the raisins would release their nutrients for 2-12 hrs. Whereas leaving raisins in set curd will not give u this benefit. You do it right. Dont add any natural sweeteners to curd. Or even think of setting the curd with raisin / khajur etc. The end result is going to cause acid reflux. Basically dahi + any sugar needs to be avoided until your body compostion is primarily pitta type. Tab tak strictly avoid any type of sweet with milk. Instead have chaas without sugar after lunch (not night)daily. It will do you a world of benefit. But for that dahi ko luke warm water se hi churn kar lena please...not cold water. Warm water is conducive for better bacteria count.
And you should rather have some soaked raisins empty stomach in the morning.
I tried what was suggested in the video for 3 days straight with 3 different type of people i.e vata,pitta and kapha....and each one complained about ridiculous acid reflux. SEPARATELY both are great. 👌👌👌👌

Fresh curd doesn't cause cold.
Avoid eating curd stored in fridge.
Of course you can feed curd to your 2 yr old. It's very much healthy.

As raisins contains iron & dahi is full of calcium.
Iron n calcium should not b taken together.
Yaa even I have this question like it's said after consuming iron containg foods we should not consume milk, milk products, tea or coffee for nearly 1 hour...
Yeah. So best is to avoid this combination guys and have them separately. That is safe play. And you will get nutrition from both as well
