First time watching ANI just because of Dr. Vikas Divyakirti. This is so true in the current exam scenario. Reservation system needs reforms. I belong to general non ews community. I cracked my NEET UG after 2 years of drop and now NEET PG after 1 year of drop. My 3 precious years of life were wasted. I am 27 at the moment. Without a job, I am still studying. My father, the only working one in a family of 4 will retire next year. I see my ST /SC friends with 30k ranks in govt medical colleges and 11k in AIIMS. Mind you they come from 2 nd generation doctors family. They themselves got the advantage of reservation once in NEET UG and again in NEET PG. Again they might get again in NEET superspecialisation. Then job and promotion. My question is how many reservation does a person need to become socially uplifted.? People who really need reservation are deprived. I completely agree with Dr. Divya sir. My house help aunty also belongs to sc category, her son sells samosa in a shop, these are the people who need reservation. A job through reservation would uplift these people, not the ones who come doctors family and again claim reservation at every exam they give.
but should people be allowed to become doctors just because they are SC and poor? What kind of doctors will they become? Does society not deserve bright doctors? If your house help’s son gets reservation and becomes a doctor scoring low marks in NEET, will that be good for society? It will be good for him, that’s it.
@@pradaxina I am afraid to inform you that sc and st people are given reservations to become doctors and speciality doctors and super specialists doctors. Look around and you will find . And regarding my house help’s child, i feel it can be any job, any salaried job would change their families trajectory and that would be socially uplifting a reserved category person in the truest sense.

My point is that medical colleges should not provide any kind of reservations as doctors are responsible for the well being of health and this profession should not be used to uplift SC ST people. When SC ST people fall sick, they find doctors based on merit, not caste, so the process of becoming a doctor should also consider only merit.

we still need reservation after 70 years? What ours children need is quality free education, healthcare and a healthy society without fear. Anyone who is capable and qualified (on the basis of education, intelligence and ethics) should get a chance. If reservation is to be continued in employment, if parents have A and B grade jobs, reservation should not be given to their next generation, or if parents are in C grade jobs, their children should not be given reservation in recruitment to C grade posts but should be given opportunity in B and A grade jobs, and so On The same should apply in the recruitment of B and A grade posts.This will provide an opportunity to another person who has not yet availed the benefit of the reservation in his catagory. Another thing is that if we ask for reservation even after 70 years in return for the exploitation of hundred or thousand years ago, the present generation is responsible for the past events, if they are responsible but the purpose of freedom, established government, constitution will not be different, children of the present generation should be responsible now However, the discrimination of the new system should be paid or the opportunity should be deprived.The reservation system is temporary and not permanent.

We can’t become a Super Power without an educated population.
I think, we must use statistical techniques to select the candidates wherein preferences could be introduced to undo the discriminations faced by individual communities? It will completely remove the subjectivity from the system while it would be opaque hence remove uthority of individuals at any stage.

First time watching ANI just because of Dr. Vikas Divyakirti. This is so true in the current exam scenario. Reservation system needs reforms. I belong to general non ews community. I cracked my NEET UG after 2 years of drop and now NEET PG after 1 year of drop. My 3 precious years of life were wasted. I am 27 at the moment. Without a job, I am still studying. My father, the only working one in a family of 4 will retire next year. I see my ST /SC friends with 30k ranks in govt medical colleges and 11k in AIIMS. Mind you they come from 2 nd generation doctors family. They themselves got the advantage of reservation once in NEET UG and again in NEET PG. Again they might get again in NEET superspecialisation. Then job and promotion. My question is how many reservation does a person need to become socially uplifted.? People who really need reservation are deprived. I completely agree with Dr. Divya sir. My house help aunty also belongs to sc category, her son sells samosa in a shop, these are the people who need reservation. A job through reservation would uplift these people, not the ones who come doctors family and again claim reservation at every exam they give.
but should people be allowed to become doctors just because they are SC and poor? What kind of doctors will they become? Does society not deserve bright doctors? If your house help’s son gets reservation and becomes a doctor scoring low marks in NEET, will that be good for society? It will be good for him, that’s it.
@@pradaxina I am afraid to inform you that sc and st people are given reservations to become doctors and speciality doctors and super specialists doctors. Look around and you will find . And regarding my house help’s child, i feel it can be any job, any salaried job would change their families trajectory and that would be socially uplifting a reserved category person in the truest sense.

My point is that medical colleges should not provide any kind of reservations as doctors are responsible for the well being of health and this profession should not be used to uplift SC ST people. When SC ST people fall sick, they find doctors based on merit, not caste, so the process of becoming a doctor should also consider only merit.

we still need reservation after 70 years? What ours children need is quality free education, healthcare and a healthy society without fear. Anyone who is capable and qualified (on the basis of education, intelligence and ethics) should get a chance. If reservation is to be continued in employment, if parents have A and B grade jobs, reservation should not be given to their next generation, or if parents are in C grade jobs, their children should not be given reservation in recruitment to C grade posts but should be given opportunity in B and A grade jobs, and so On The same should apply in the recruitment of B and A grade posts.This will provide an opportunity to another person who has not yet availed the benefit of the reservation in his catagory.
Another thing is that if we ask for reservation even after 70 years in return for the exploitation of hundred or thousand years ago, the present generation is responsible for the past events, if they are responsible but the purpose of freedom, established government, constitution will not be different, children of the present generation should be responsible now However, the discrimination of the new system should be paid or the opportunity should be deprived.The reservation system is temporary and not permanent.

I think, we must use statistical techniques to select the candidates wherein preferences could be introduced to undo the discriminations faced by individual communities? It will completely remove the subjectivity from the system while it would be opaque hence remove uthority of individuals at any stage.
