When I was three-ish, my mother introduced me to the new probation and parole officer (We owned a bailbond company.) He is a large black man. I have and have always had social anxiety issues and it really didn't have anything to do with him being black, because my father was SO DARK a Native American, I thought we were half black till kindergarten, I was just being shy.
But I wouldn't shake his hand to save my life, for whatever reason, and he told me "It won't rub off on you!" My mom AND him still bring it up to this very day (I'm 40) and no matter what I say, I can never clear my name.😑

We were holding a yard sale of my (racist, possibly serial killer) grandfather in rural Alabama on the Florida line, and as I was helping people (mostly black people, with my black son, 6 at the time, adopted from Malawi very recently and still non-verbal at that point. And my 3 other boys in the house. ) when there was a sudden collective gasp of horror from the crowd in front of me......
I turned around to see my Mestizo 4 year old wearing my grandfather's KKK Hood and Grand Wizard's cape, helpfully put on by his older, adopted brother who hadn't the slightest clue what it meant, yelling "LOOK MAMA!!! I'M A GHOST!"
I didn't know I could run that fast.
And the cherry on top of this mortifiing incident was the visit from child services and the local Sheriff that night. Demanding an explanation as to why I had a KKK outfit, enough guns to restart the civil war, and a mute black child, and a very, VERY DARK preschooler who still thought the costume was AWESOME and wanted to take it home for Halloween. (I have 4 boys. The oldest two are very, very pale Mestizo, then John, whom I adopted. Very black. And the little one who looks as Apache as his great-great-grandfather, Victorio.
All from the same Mestizo father and Mestiza mother, save John. Very common in New Mexico. Not so common in Alabama, and I had zero documentation that any of them were mine. Luckily, the local D.A. and Sheriff of my hometown back in New Mexico at the time, were God Parents to a couple of our boys and knew our family very well and was able to clear up the misunderstandings.
But Jesus Christ, I thought I was on my way to an Alabama jail cell. I'm a bailbondsman, and as I was being led outside for questioning, I told my oldest to call my surety company and ask if I could bail myself out of jail in Alabama.
Thank God it didn't come to that.😬🥵, but I was sweating it.

on the accidentally saying a swear word bit, in 2nd grade I wasn't aware of the word "bitch." during lunch, which we had in our classrooms, our teacher was telling us jokes. One of the jokes was, "what do you get when you cross a witch with a beach?" Well, I'm on the autism spectrum so it's already difficult for me to tell jokes apart from sincerity. I'm a lot better with it now, but as a kid I took a lot of things, even obvious jokes, literally. So that being said, I thought I would take a crack at it by putting the words beach and witch together. So 8 year old me raised my hand and said, loud and proud, with my speech impediment, "a b-bitch. " Teacher yelled at me to the point of me crying.

When I was a kid we played knock and nash, the British version of ding dong ditch. When my husband was a child they used to tie a rope loosely to two adjacent front doors handles on the terraced street when he lived. They would then knock on both doors and watch as the neighbours struggled to open their front doors. Happy days!

me and some classmates did this in a pretty posh hotel in france with some other schools on different floors, I was smaller and thinner than 2 of my friends when we hid in the elevator so this other school who complained about my friends didn't actually see me hiding behind my 2 friends in elevator, explains why they didn't like me for the rest of the trip because they got in trouble and not me even though the teachers knew I was playing as well yet because I wasn't identified i didn't get in trouble, I did almost break my ankle from jumping down about 8-10 steps landing directly on one foot when running from one floor to the floor I was staying on, couldn't walk on the foot for a few hours and because I didn't have an eu medical card I didn't want to go hospital, luckily it was more just shock and started walking on the foot after the few hour long quiz, well was still a bit sore however I've had no lasting damage from that jump thankfully, I'm from uk and we called it knock a door run

There was this very obviously transgender woman (MtF) in our neighborhood in the very early 90s. My mom told me about this one day, when I was a toddler, we were standing in line at McDonald's and the trans woman got in line as well. I was young enough to know something "wasn't right" with her, but had no concept of what being transgender was. I kept saying to my mom "Look. A man." and pointing at her. My mom would try to shoosh me but as I was a dumbass toddler I kept doing it.
That trans woman must have felt like shit.

oomg this totally reminded me of one of the worst things I've ever done as a small child that I regretted as soon as I did it, still regret and never owned up to. When my parents divorced and my younger sister, mother and I moved a few hours drive away from my dad. We still saw him according to court order scheduled custody and I watched a lot of TV with my dad and at the time he liked WWE or whatever its called. Once back with my mom in a new town, my sister and I were at home alone with the live-in housekeeper/nanny. My sister was lying on the carpet in the living room and I had the bright idea to climb onto the couch and slam down on her like they did on TV that I would watch with my dad. DIdn't know that wrestling was fake/scripted or that those people are professionals in the way that they know how not to get seriously injured. 6 year old me broke my 4 year old sister's arm. She was known for being kinda a cry baby and over reacting to things that were minor already, so the housekeeper paid her no mind and hours later when my mom came home my sister was still crying and even my mother didn't believe she was hurt bad.. I don't remember when but eventually she ended up having her arm in a cast. 20 years later, I still haven't told my mother and my sister doesn't remember it. It eats at me when that memory comes up. I don't think I will ever own up to it because I still feel so ashamed. I've done worse things but that one is hard to live with.

When i was a kid i found a kitten that had swallowed a large fishing hook, like really swallowed this 3 prong hook and was covered in its own blood.
It was in so much pain I felt so bad for it I decided to put it out of its misery so I found a machete in my grandads tool shed and was thinking i could behead it and give it a quick death.
Missed and cut it in half. I was six. This is honestly the one memory that freaks me out the most I'm 28 now and still think about that poor little kitten screaming and useing its front legs to try to escape while leaving its hind part behind.

True story. Hacked my school, and stole my teachers thumb drive back in grade 3. In grade 6 I understood why what I did was so bad, and why I was unable to use a computer in school without being supervised. that lasted until I graduated high school (now 21). Also was banned by court order from owning one at home until grade 9. On the upside, the school board really amped up their cyber security. On the downside, I was forever unable to change my report card again, and forgot most of my skills. Do I regret it? only for one reason. Where would I have been now if I didn't do it?

Because of social pressure. Girls get sexualised at a very young age by the media and the people around them, told to be beautiful, sexy, how a 'woman' should behave, etc. and then there's peer pressure. I also got my first thongs at 11 - purchased, not stolen, though, against my mum's wishes - because my friends had them and movies, music videos and magazines portrayed it as what girls do.
They were terribly uncomfortable and my sister and dad teased the hell out of me for having/wearing them but I still did because I thought that's what cool, sexy, grown-up girls do. This was sixteen years ago and it's been ages since I last wore one. It's underwear. No one sees/cares anyway but at 11, it was a huge deal.

We never felt bad about it, everyone we knew was smart enough to just climb under if they had to go. What we didn't take into consideration was how many kindergartners would have accidents because of this. She eventually caved and told her parents and I got in trouble to. One time, when I was around 8 or 9, I took $5 my dad had left above our computer on the shelf that was supposed to be used to develop the film from our disposable camera. I didn't know that, though, so I was just like "Sweet, $5!" Later that day, my mom and dad were arguing about the missing $5, my mom accusing my dad of trying to pocket the money for himself, and my dad defending himself saying he had left the money there that morning. They had such a nasty fight and I was so scared of getting punished, that I took the coward's way out and never said anything. I feel guilty about it to this day. I ended up telling my parents about this a few years ago now that I'm an adult, and they actually laughed it off. They were finally glad to have some closure on the infamous $5 that went missing. I'll always regret doing that, though.

If somebody left something in there like a sweater, I drenched it. One time at a store some lady left her purse and I ruined it, inside and out - drenched everything in it. Beat the shit out of a guy who was bullying a 1st year in high school, the bully was in his final year and i was a year behind him. What makes it bad is that I was in monstrously good shape at the time. I was regularly bench pressing well over my own body weight, and when I was angry I had a punch like a pissed off freight train...I could’ve killed him so easily. I’d been bullied out of school a couple of years earlier for 2 full years, so that kid kinda caught a whole load of very pissed off Amanda to the face, and throat.
I know now that I should’ve tried to negotiate first, but all that I could see was some little kid being treated the way I had been and I snapped.

Once I broke my moms nose with my metal hello kitty headphones because she wouldn’t go get me some batteries when I was like five or six
Another time a couple months ago I killed a lizard I know I sound like a monster but I did it for a good reason. So one day I found a lizard and picked it up then I looked at its side and saw it had a huge cut and it’s intestines hanging out. And I realized if I didn’t kill it quickly it would have a long painful death. I felt so bad for the poor thing and knew it was too late because it was barely breathing and it didn’t even try to run when I picked it up. So I went into my garage and got a mallet laid it down in the flower bed and smashed it’s head multiple times to give it the quickest least painful death I could after I felt like a monster and like I needed to be killed the same way . After killing it me and my friends buried it. Later I found out from my grandpa he had accidentally hit it with the weed eater. Now I feel I did the right thing giving it a quick painless death. RIP little lizard buddy I hope you got reincarnated as another lizard and your living a long happy lizard life I’m sorry.

One day my mom took me on a little walk around the apartment complex. There was this spot with a fire hydrant and a ton of little rocks. I decided it would be an absolutely brilliant idea to pick one up and throw it as hard as I could not seeing where it would land. It hit a car window, almost breaking it. At that same moment, an alarm went off and my mom was pissed. I never did that again lol.

I already commented something like this on another video, but whatever.
I was like 5, 6. I had some pretty crappy friends that were a few years older than me. Being an oblivious 6 year old, I thought they were super cool and would copy everything they did because I looked up to them. Anyway, one day they taught me this EXTREMELY racist rhyme (saying, chant, whatever) It went like this:
"My mam is Chinese [pull eyes outwards], my Dad is Japanese [pull eyes downwards], and I ended up like this! [Pull one eye downwards and the other outwards]"
Pretty bad, right? Well, stupid 6 year old me had no idea this was racist and was very proud of what I had learnt from my friends, so I decided to show my Mam and my Aunt. My JAPANESE Aunt. My Mam was mortified and grounded me for weeks. I was super confused at the time and had absolutely no idea why I was in so much trouble, but a few years later I realised how bad and racist that was, and I definitely deserved to be grounded.
I'm SO sorry, Auntie Tomo! I was just a little kid, I didn't know, I swear! I'm not racist!

When I was around 1st grade (so i was like 5-6), our school had a rule where we couldn't go out to the playground until we finished our lunch (To prevent litter), I never wanted to eat my lunch, just go out and play. So one day my mom happened to pack a peanut butter sandwich, and to get out of having to eat, I thought I would lie about having a peanut allergy. The teacher no joke believed me and contacted my mother asking if it was true, she was understandably confused and slightly offended that they would think she would give her own daughter peanuts if she even had a allergy. As u could probably tell, i was eventually made to eat the sandwich. Even nearly 20 years later, my parents still don't let me live that down. And ironically, now days i like peanut butter lol
So glad to see i wasn't the only kid that faked a food allergy

ok the worst thing I can think of right off the top of my head went like this and I didnt regret it at the time b/c I was like 11 and was just pissed, however it was something I said to my mom. When I was a kid, epsecially when I was about this age, I despised going to my Grandmother's house (My mom's mom) for a few reasons. 1.) I always felt like my Grandmother favored my brother over me and he could do no wrong, while I always got into trouble from her and my mom. 2.) Secondly when my mom would get mad about something she didnt know how to let it go and would keep harping on it. Well I did something to make her mad and she wouldnt let up about something and I was getting yelled at by her and my Grandmother and my brother as well and he was just allowed to add his two cents unopposed. Well my Mom said something to me and I dont remember what she or what I did to make her made. However, w/e was said that was it and I had enough. I look her in the eyes and I said to her "I HATE YOU, AND I WISH YOU WERENT IN MY LIFE!!!!" I saw the look on her face when I said that and she was immediately crest fallen and turned around and started to cry and ran out of the room. I don't remember what happened after that, but years later I think about this and I feel like shit for saying that, and I wish I didn't. But when you're 11 or 12 and you're just pissed b/c people gang up on you, yeah you're gonna say things you dont mean and later wish you could take it back.

When I was about twelve, I had a friend who older brother became a beligerante drunk. He was nineteen, or twenty years old. He would get drunk, and come home. His mother say thing to make him angry, and he would bust up the place. She so ashamed, and was like a big secret, except everyone know, when they can hear the screaming, and the police are at the house once a week. One Saturday, her brother is drunk, and passed out on the couch. He came home half naked, and was sleeping it off on the couch. His pants were bunched up around one foot, and he had walked home that way. One of my friends found a pair of assless underwear in the woods, and kept them. I called him up, and he brought them over. We stuck the unwear on him, and then wrote a bunch names on his back. with comments like, "Thanks for the ride", or "I was here." Then we took pictures of it, and sent it to all his friends. We called his best friend, and had him come over. We acted like dumb kids. "Boo hoo. We don't know what to do." His friend was very nice. His friend called all his friends, and siad, "You got'ta see this." A bunch of his friends showed up, and tried to wake him up. He was too drunk. We told them, there was a crowd of guy out side the house, and her brother was giving two dollar bjs. "Right in the front yard, with the cars going by." The next day, when he woke up, he never knew what happened, except he was wearing strange underwear. The whole thing took weeks to unroll. It didn't stop him from drinking, if anything, he drank more. The only thing that really happened was. I realized drunks need friend, because after that, her brother ended up drunk in the ditches.

To the contributor near the end, who was bathing their puppy and the puppy jumped down and landed painfully: Why the guilt? I honestly was scared as I listened that we were going to hear the puppy died. He probably hurt just because of that: He was a puppy. You did not have anything to do with that. If you bathed him as an adult dog, and he jumped down off a counter, it would be OK.

I remember I used to torture insects a lot when I was a small child. I used to get worms and turn them inside out on small twigs before snapping the twig inside them and throwing them down the drain, Slugs and snails I used to stab their undersides and pour salt in the wounds just wo watch them froth and bubble. I also used to dropkick snails into the neighbours yard and also had a Tonka Truck that I used to push around the garden, I filled it with snails, and gave them a ride around the garden, after their journey came to an end I used to crush them with my hand and make a snail soup in the bed of my truck. I pulled the wings off flies and the legs off spiders, I alsoused to bend woodlouse (i think Americans call them pillbugs) the other way and break them.
I also found an old cow bone my dog (RIP George xx) buried and forgot about for about a year, I broke it open and actually ate the maggots out of it, i used to eat ants as well, they tasted bitter. I never hurt animals though, just innocent bugs minding their own business lol

I have had THREE national alerts* before I was 7 years old..
(*Description of what I looked like and what clothes I was wearing on the radio and picture in all tv channels.. The first time it was both in the Swedish media and in Danish because this happened in Malmö and it was 2 months after a murder of a little girl near that mall)
    Nr 1:
I was 5 years old when I went to find my mom in a shop that was in a big mall. I couldn't find my mom but I did find a big lovely bed in a shop window.. Soooo I went o lay down in the bed, I had put the blanket over my head and into the dreamland I went 😴😴😴.
The police woke me up 5 hours later after an elderly lady told the police who led the search for me.. (around 2000 military guys was looking for me)..
    Nr 2
After daycare i found a new friend and we played all day long and evening. When she was going to bed at 23:30 I was told to go home but her mother said that I should be careful when I went home because it seems that something has happened on our street because there are many police cars there ... The police had been there for hours because they were looking for 6 year old me.. My mom had a "talk" to that girls mom the day after I remember we saw her in the store some day after, she had a big black eye… (Our backyards was against each other so that's how they could see that the police were on my streetl
3 O AND YES another new friend a boy this time. This new friend I met down at our camping place (my parents ran a campsite for 22years)asked if I wanted to go with him and his dad when they were going out on their houseboat for a few days. I had to ask my parents before so I ran home and packed a bag and waited a little while then I ran down to their boat and said that my parents said I could come along…
My parents didn't have a faintest idea that I had gone out in a boat with with my newfound friend and his father for a few days. Luckily, the father had a communication radio in the boat and someone at camping was smart enough and send out a request if anyone had seen a girl who was 6.5years old.. So it was just to turn back home to the port without even getting to sleep in the boat one night, I was so mad..
IF you ask my mother today about how her hair turned chalk white as it is now, she doesn't say a word, she only POINTS AT ME..
    👩🏻‍🦳👉🤷🏻‍♀️
🙄🙄🙄🙄I have no idea why she is pointing at me. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I am now 43 years old and despite my mother's wishes, none of my daughters haven't done anything close to this or any of the other terrible things I put my parentes through, luckily..
(Excuse me for spelling mistakes, etc. English is not my first or second language but I hope you understand , if not then feel free to ask) ❣️

    I have a good one!
I was probably 14-15 at the time (not a child anymore) and growinf up in a small city that feels like nowhere in the early 2000s when internet still wasnt that much of a thing, our best means of soending time was to just hang out but we only had like 2 places to go, a mall (open style of architecture, not your traditional mall) and downtown, since thid mall was closer to my house it was like the standard place to go hang out.
Can't remember if this was with a kid i met on the arcade (we were addicted to one these Korean dance machines called pump it up) or with a friend from school (loved that guy in the sense of he was my best friend: no homo stuff, but my parents hated him and almost always adviced me against hanging out with him, but being extremely introvert myself it was like the only friend i could make, this guy btw got caught twice by security guards shoplifting toys so you can imagine why my parents didnt want me to hang out with him ), thing is we went out of the mall to do some slight urban exploration before it was even a thing, we found an abandoned land that apparently was used to sell cars because had a huge parking lot and some super 90s style office in there, we went in and i was dead scared but the other guy went into the office and took a pee in the floor, i wanted to return so bad but the dude was like "come on nobody comes here".
Fortunately nothing happened, we didnt find anything interesting but now as an adult I realize that would've been easily 2 charges: trespassing and vandalism, could've potentially got into real trouble. Btw no more than a year later they opened up again and started selling used cars as we assumed at first.

Some of these stories are so fucking tame, wow you put sugar in ketchup? You put salt on a slug? Ive done so much tiny shit like that I dont really even remember
The only things ive felt bad for was once I stole this old nokia brick back in 02 from a firetruck we were alowed in at some event, I dont feel bad about stealing the phone, but one of the calls I made, I mistakenly dialed the wrong number of a cat who went missing, I was calling to say I had lost a cat, but as soon as the guy was like "ohh you found him?" I realized my mistake, I still feel bad about that n hope the guy got his cat back, also when I was a kid I would mess around with my cat, try and throw spin it to see if I could get the cat to land on her back, also just scaring her to a point of her pissing, thats the only stuff I feel bad about.
Ive done all kinds of shit that I still dont care to this day, like I did a ton of graffiti, kinda as a fuck you to society for constantly fucking me over, ive stolen probably over 10k in confectionery and spray paint, but I dont feel bad coz it was big buisness, I never really stole from ma n pa stores or off individual people, honestly I regret not doing more shit, like bringing a knife to school to stab the kid who set me up n robbed me of like 80 bucks worth of high quality spray paint, not having the ability to shoot up my school,
when you constantly get fucked over with no break you end up holding a fuckton of anger, I know one day im not going to be able to hold it in, and I know exactly who to take my anger out on, 20 years and 6 months of anger all realeased in one go, its gonna get real fucking messy, usually as a kid I would do the opposite of what most kids do, at school I wouldnt really break any rules, as when it came to fights I never started them, id just take all my anger out on my brother n sister, but never like broke bones unlike some kids in my class, but yeah once I got kicked out by my granparents coz they didnt understand brothers n sisters fight, since then ive had no outlet to get my anger out, other then vandalism, but now even that doesnt satisfy me enough, I want blood
