I’ve been struggling with shoulder pain for nearly 2 months … I went to the orthopedist and attended over 10 physiotherapy sessions in which they did ultrasound therapy, massage and hot and cold compresses … it DID NOT improve one bit :(
I found your video 3 days ago and after performing those exercises throughout the day (mainly the third one) I’m so so much better! I’d say 85% better.
This is incredible! Thank you so much!

Update on my 4th shoulder impingement, the first time it took 3 years to heal because I had no idea what to do, the second time it was 2 years for the same reason, 3rd time it was a year, I was starting to get some knowledge, this time I had impingement on both shoulders and I was looking for lots of ideas, this doctor has some very effective exercises and with his help and some others, I was able to be completely pain free in 2 months, needless to say, I'm thrilled, thank you doctor, you know your stuff !!

My advice is to do what this guy says, the exercises are really effective if you do them a lot !! The first one is my favorite, I do both sides at the same time, I was doing this every hour and now I only have to do it once a day. You can Google shoulder impingement and see a lot of different videos but I think that this guy is probably the best that I saw.

    • @RebeccaMurrayUK
      @RebeccaMurrayUK 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@Nomihchello I am recovering 6 months in. This video helped me a lot. I’d say start a shoulder diary and take it day by day. If you’re in a lot of pain, slow and controlled moving is good. Moving is recommended even when there’s pain. It’s a trial and error process to each person. Start with this dude and when pain gets 3/10 start adding resistance bands and lightest cables. Regular massages and cupping helped mine. The best thing to do is train and strengthen the muscles around the injured rotator cuff muscle. Treat your injury like a donut.

@@epmanualphysicaltherapy It seems like your exercises are the exact opposite of what others are suggesting. The whole cat thing -- moving your shoulders FORWARD -- they all say this is what causes impingement issues, because of the way people sit at the computer all day long, their shoulders 'rounded' forward towards the keyboard, the head and neck leaning forward as well. Are they all wrong...or what am I missing?

Start with one or two exercises, beginning with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not.

Hey Anima! We are so sorry that your girlfriend is dealing with these issues for months. Not only is that painful but frustrating especially not knowing exactly what is the cause or how to fix it.
Below will be our Shoulder Impingement Pain Help playlist for her::
      “Shoulder Impingement Pain Help”
      th-cam.com/play/PLJVIPiFvv1mYGRrMuW9YtI9XIkxvxAgkb.html
Start with one or two exercises, beginning with the smallest range of motion and the lowest intensity. As you feel stronger, you can gradually increase both the range of motion and intensity. It’s best to do these exercises every day throughout the day. Aim to tire out the muscle without losing form or control. Consistency is key. Always avoid working through pain; soreness and mild discomfort are normal, but pain is not.
We hope this helps! Please keep us posted on her progress 🧡

I have had this for four years but think my issue starts in the scapula, then leads to right shoulder and upper arm. Have knots in upper arm. Went to so many doctors in El Paso and none sent me to have an MRI done. Even went to Mexico but the doctor's face looked concerned when he gave me shoulder impingement diagnosis.
Tried so many exercises. Truly think this issue never goes away. Plus have scrunching scapula.

If I can do all these exercises without triggering the sensitivity in my shoulder, does that mean that impingement isn’t the problem? My shoulder/neck pain flares when I throw a ball, or reach to scratch my back, or wave my arms like I’m trying to do a jumping jack. The shoulder joint also makes a ton of alarming grinding noises when I do those motions and is sore all the time. I’m starting to think it’s because I’m 50 and have slept on my stomach with my arm raised over my head for my whole life.😮
I understand you can’t diagnose and are doing this out of the goodness of your heart, just wondering what your gut take is. I thank you for these valuable tips!

My partner was hit by a car and he is currently in so so so much pain with rotator cuff damage! His pain goes from the shoulder to the elbow he can move the bottom half of the arm and his fingers etc no problem he can hold items in the hand etc too he just cannot raise his arm above his head lift items even if they are light weight and when he tries lifting it he uses his other hand to help lift it up! We have been working on similar excercise but im not pushing him too far! Hes only 4 days in from the accident and he's doing so so well I'm super proud of him! Today he has raised his arm above his head admittedly he needed a tad bit of encouragement and his top half of arm was shaking while doing so but he was able to do it ! I dont push it as I know it must be very very painful! He also reached out and grabbed his iPhone from my hand and lifted it up infront of him for around 20 seconds! I havent tried the lay down with the pillow yet but he sleeps like that to make it more comfortable for him thankyou for this video im living in hope he can get full use of his arm back fully! He also has nerve damage in his knee and leg and his knee buckles when he walks we have been doing similar excercise where he lays on the bed and lift his leg in the air and back down again we have also did the imaginary bike riding excercise almost like hes peddling a bike ! But hes peddling the air ! He seems way more stable today and isn't as wobbly on his legs but I've explained these kinds of injuries can take months to heal and may never get better and may only be able to be maintained by trying to release pain by doing excercise ! I'm very very very hopeful he will be one of the lucky ones and if will fix itself after a few months of physio and excercise
