      🎉Dude u were ahead of GAME. The ADS-PRO were way more premium than VA now. In China, i saw when 2 months ago when U8K having sales, all the price drop except d ADS-PRO 75” cuz its MORE premium. It was holding up like $1600-1700(sale) when North America were $1200 due to stiff compitition n ppl’s ill-informed opinion about the NEW n more advanced tech. They had a U8.5K type of thing launched in late Dec. which was crazy that the U8k 75” was around that U8KL (U8.5K level) around the SAME price. Cuz the 75” U8K were selling like HOT cakes even at that $1600-1700USD. Where I am at in Canada, they are still like $2000+ if aft tax n get 5 yr plan.

      I have new 85 inch TV for a week now. Max. 9 foot away. It's to big. I dreamed about the experience and immersiveness, which is not there, at least not to extent what I wanted and expected. Especially with an ordinary broadcast program is a huge problem, which is expanded to the entire screen. Soccer looks terrible in sharpness of a video (broadcast 1080i). All is just to big and to blurry. 75" would be more suitable for me, maybe even 65 OLED for the same price? :( thinking about sending it back.

    Nice overview Caleb. ADS pro is good to hear for the U9N I think ADS is way better than the VA panels I see today, you can see that by the year to year panel change from other manufacturers. As always I’m concerned about offering my clients the best value in any display I recommend. The Hisense reviews have been relatively faultless, I’m extremely interested in the juxtaposition in value and performance to the Samsung 85 QN90D and the 85inch Bravia 9, both of which are considerably more expensive than the U9. I was looking into buying a Hisence, after being a Samsung fan for many years, for this "bang for your buck" reputation they seemed to be achieving. What I found was that looking at American videos about Hisence products was a waste of time because, here in Australia, we get quite different spec products (with the same name) than what the US market receives. This explained why the 2023 U8K in Australia looked quite different from the one you reviewed on this channel. Also, the reputation of Hisence customer support here in Australia is quite poor. Many people commented that once they had your money they were very reluctant to help if you ran into problems with your purchase. This has me backing away slowly and looking back at Samsung, Sony and LG.

    Has the Hisense new 2024 TV in the higher range U9N & up finally been upgraded to a native 10bit panel or is it still 8bit like last year's models? Do they have the new Next Gen TV tuners (ATSC 3.0) included in its hardware or does it still have the older ATSC 1.0 tuners? I know most won't care about that, but I do, since I'm in the market for a brand-new TV this year & I want a nice upgrade from my old Sony 9300d from years ago. I know the Sony Bravia 9 has an ATSC 3.0 tuner and that TV is on my short list. This Hisense U9N might be on that short list too for the price to performance value but so is the brand-new TCL 2024 higher end range of MiniLED TVs. It's between those three brands for me this year. I could also get the Sony A95K for €1999 but that seems like a high price for a 2022 tv... or is this still worth it when compared to the two above?

Not anytying beneath yearly.

    I wish tv reviews would take a much deeper dive on hardware/os/interface performance than what seems to be out there. I purchased a U8K last year and the amount of information on it's Google os interface performance was so little that there was no way to know if the interface experience was going to be decent or a nightmare till after you bought it and while thankfully it's not a nightmare I certainly wouldn't rank it as decent. At some point the blanket suggestion of "don't use the built in os and just buy a streaming device" has to become obsolete but how would anyone know when that happens if no one really dives into that aspect of a tv?

    • @Caleb_Denison
      @Caleb_Denison 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I tried to do exactly this on the U8N review. Was there more you’d like to have learned? Keep in mind I’m only able to test this aspect for a couple of weeks, so the long-term evaluation can’t go in the review

    • @MrSonomaGTS
      @MrSonomaGTS 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Caleb_Denison You had mentioned that the interface was snappy and responsive but from what I can gather the U8N uses the same Mediatek9618 that the U8K has. At face value one would assume the interface would be the same in terms of performance but obviously they could have made some changes not easily found that would improve the performance but that isn't listed anywhere. This is what I mean by deep dive because aside from the more traditional categories when comparing TVs, comparing hardware that directly impacts the user interface that people will be spending a lot of time in should be something that is reviewed as equally since it's something any new TV buyer will have to deal with unless they just automatically go the "dumb tv" route.

      Hey u will get mix reviews from ppl. They have cheap low end Roku lik e$150 tinny tv to like $5000-8000 laser tv, then thoes big boys 110” 8K UX $13000 in China. So ppl have seen them at passing like bought $280 garage TVs can totally hate on it. When the rest ppl online RAVE it EXTREMELY premium. (My family think they are higher end than SONY TVs) cuz we get HIsense U8 series Flagship TV. So u get ppl with VW Jetta n Audi A6 totally 2 end of spectrum experience :):):) 😊

      Get the U8K . It will be iphone 12pro vs iphone 14pro difference. U8K has COLOR VOLUME matching Samsung S90C S95C .
      Thats why Hisense so high end now cuz they can Mimic QD-OLED like 98-96% visual of Samsung Flagship S95C s95B/ do the U8 . Its Very future prof worth the extra $200-300. The U7-U8 Gap for those like larger tvs in EU n Canada are much bigger like $400-500

    • @Yoga_Tv_buying
      @Yoga_Tv_buying 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      U7 usually will keep their Color Volume around 8.0/8.1 level last a few yrs. So since they re a lot dimmer, they do NOT need that much of color volume boost. But yeah once u get U8 level up cant go back. D Brighter the Image the more clean 🧼 visual it looks once that bright image is boosted with color , no longer look like washed out tint.

    Of course the U8N has ridiculous bugs like the one that wrecked luminance tracking. Here in Australia with a U8K on firmware N1222, clear motion (BFI) is still broken! Every time clear motion it is used, it’s a matter of time (up to 40-50 minutes)before the display goes completely black. Only resolves by unplugging the TV from mains power.
    This is the second U8K I’ve had and both had the same issue. Online reviews also have many customers with the same complaint.
    The TV’s are great for the price point, but the QA is pitifully bad.

      @@Yoga_Tv_buying Yeah we have the crappy VIDAA OS, along with a few bugs that are reported by many owners, such as the broken bfi and issues with some apps randomly deciding they can't find the network connection, when other apps work perfectly fine. The wi-fi eventually resolved with a firmware update about 8 months after the TV released, while the bfi is still broken af.
