Congratulations, you made the right ✅️ decision 👏 👍 hope you will enjoy it for many years to come, absolutely the best tv with the highest contrast level on any tv with new processes and higher brightness 🌞 lg 😅all the way,
I have an 83" C1. It's still fantastic. I won't upgrade for another three years. I did upgrade my Samsung 75" MU8000 upstairs with a Samsung NEO QLED 75" 95NQ. It's night and day. The LG OLED is still better, and it's three years older.
Man, i love Caleb's work. the writing, the passion, the homework you can tell he does prior, it's honestly why i keep watching these tv reviews even though i've already purchased a new tv. And now, i'm thinking twice about my choice. anyone want to buy a new a80L? haha. nothing wrong with it, I just want to try this G4.
New LG G4 coming in this Friday. Upgrading from an LG 77 CX and I'm excited like a kid on Christmas. The CX was a TV that I held on to the longest and was my first OLED tv. I was a LED man for the longest time but ended up upgrading my tv's every year, which stopped when I bought the LG CX. I think the best LED TV I had was the Q9FN which I had for about a year and the tv's that followed it were just huge disappointments which finally made me try the LG CX, even though I was afraid of burn in, but after having it since 2020, I had absolutely none and I'm sold on OLED technology and would never go back to an LED tv since the picture quality is unmatched, no matter how many dimming zones they claim they have, it's just not the same as OLED.
@@You-Tuber2024 Unfortunately, the first set was defective and had to be exchanged but the replacement has been flawless and quite an improvement over the CX. I've rewatched a few movies already, Life of Pi being the first one since I think that one really shows off the tv, even though it's an older movie. Games on the PS5 and the Xbox look great and the ones that are capable of 120fps, definitely achieve that on this screen. Overall, I am extremely satisfied, especially considering that I paid as much for the 77CX back in 2020 as I did for the 77G4 this month. You won't be disappointed..
What LG I’ve done with G4 is not to increase the brightness but improve the quality overall by making subtle improvements that is visible. Just by increasing brightness doesn’t make the TV better but how it handles near dark areas & shadow details. Also better posterisation mitigation which is common in streaming and sat TVs.
Meanwhile the other TV's have brigher HDR and more HDR impact as a result. I know. I swapped from S95C to G4. It is not as bright with HDR highlights and more so in game mode.
Currently, have the 55 LGCX hands down the best TV i have ever owned when its time to get a new tv ill be getting another LG for sure . Glad to see the G4 is a power house
you say it. true more brightness. i have the lg g3. but the glossy screen with the cx the colors looks deeper. not worth to upgrade from my lg g3 to the g4! only 100 nits brighter in hdr with dynamic tonemapping. i wait till the lg g5!
3:48 You can turn on automatic updates in the LG App Store settings. That way, they update while you aren't using them and won't bother you every time you start up an app.
Finally I can upgrade from my LG C8 OLED. Been waiting for LG to have the top TV. I wanted the Sony A95L but wife won't accept anything without a magic remote.
Same position tbone! My girlfriend loves the magic remote and webos in LG OLEDs. We also have an a80j in the house and she hates it because of the interface and lack of a magic remote.
The A95L is superior to the the G4. Especially because of the QD-OLED in the A95L and the even better picture processing. While HGIG support is something that Sony lacks compared to LG.
@Joonz14 Yea I play both of those. Everything looks amazing on it because it's an OLED and it's actually bright. Windows 11 even does auto HDR on most games that don't have HDR and it looks excellent.
For the older generation, I’m still rock in’ a 2005 Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-1150HD. I’ve been wanting to upgrade to 4K for a few years, and I’ve been eyeballin’ the LG panels. I think it may be time.
I have the LG 65 inch C2 And I was completely happy with it. The picture was nice. The sound is good and everything was okay until I bought. The 77 inch G4 And now my LG C2 Does not look as good anymore. This TV's Picture quality and processing are amazing. Even the low quality streaming is up graded to a beautiful picture on this new LG G4
@ShadowArabesque I realized it when I played back videos from my youtube channel on the TVs. I can literally see the items in my house and they're ridiculously over saturated and wrong and on the samsung QD-OLED. The LG WOLED looks much more real.
Why does Caleb keep saying “the numbers don’t matter”? How does that make any sense? Do the numbers only not matter with the G4? That’s logic makes ZERO sense. It appears the G3 and G4 have similar brightness levels, and that’s why he keeps saying “the numbers don’t matter”. Why bother taking measurements if you are just going to say that the measurements are irrelevant.
I have G4 83 (turned in G3) and man let me say… this tv rocks. All colors, brightness, smooth gradation etc. and I run PS5 with God of War Ragnarock and have all SONOS (2 subs, 2 back speakers, and 1 SONOS Arc) so my set up is done. Totally worth it. Just mad my studs on the wall couldn’t fit the flush mount in the house. That’s ok.
When I bought the C2 a couple years back, the G series weren’t compelling enough to step up to. G series is now all I would consider from LG. Tempted to get one 👀
Thanks for the review Caleb! The G4 does sound pretty special. Will you be getting the 97" version coming out soon to compare to the older 97" G2? I understand the 97" version doesn't have MLA tech so curious to see how the A11 processing goodness can make up for that at that size.
have a 65" C9 with over 6k hours, still runs great. no burn in or any other issues. amazing tv's. would love to upgrade, but there is really no reason to as it works so well. Of course a newer C4 or G4 would be much brighter, am looking forward to upgrading. Can I ask, what do you do with your old C9 or old TV's in general?
My C9 has been great. Like all tech, there was a couple of little things that bugged me but overall an amazing tv. I usually pass my old TVs down to my parents, but this time I decided to put it in the spare bedroom.
Every LG OLED tv have a 5 year warranty. Atleast where i live. Had some dead pixels developing on my LG C9 i bought in 2020 and they replaced the panel recently at my home for free. Stellar service!
Also … unclear, is this the same "5-year limited warranty" on the panel they've offered on G-series, and they now specify _long term image retention_ coverage, or is this a new, expanded "bumper-to-bumper" 5-year warranty?
@@ChromeJob When i bought my C9 in 2020 i got a free 5 year panel warranty. LG no longer offer this warranty on the C lineup sadly. The warranty now only cover G and Z series of OLEDs
I have a old CX here and, man, I so glad that it kepts the old system interface. It's so more beautifull, so more easy to use! It doesn't get in the way of what your are watching. Seriously, it's the best OS for TVs I ever use.
Excellent review this go round and also I'm loving the fun energy of these reviews lately. This might be the first time I go for the full fat OLED and the G4 is on my list. I really want to watch the peak OLEDS go against the peak Mini-LEDs. Can you make a head to head series for this new gen?
Just got mine yesterday, it’s incredible. Not as colourful as my S95c , but the processing is just as good as Sony’s. You will not regret this tv, go ahead and buy!
Since all TVs get reviewed very early in their firmware upgrade cycle, I think it would be useful to have generational comparisons where you have, for example, G3 with latest firmware and G4 with current firmware. I would also like someone, with time on the their hands, to create a website with full firmware upgrade data for each tv set and manufacturer with a curve for features added, features removed, bugs fixed - because at prices like these I want to know that manufacturer is committed to maintaining and improving your multi-thousand dollar “investment” as most people outside of the viewers of this video most likely will keep this or similar TV for 10 years (I know I would as my “temporary” TCL TV that reviews said would last at most 3 years before dying is still working 7+ years later - but being a Roku TV it is still getting firmware updates once a year or so).
“This kind of competition breeds innovation” - you are probably correct, but what I suspect, the innovation will be is the industry manipulating our focus and turning it onto some thing that is unimportant, but they will find a way to stress it market it advertise it and sell it to us as something that we just can’t live without. It’s TV and I believe that justice from one TV to another TV within the same brand and the same model you can have differences because of all various components and what happened on the day of the assembly and now it was handled in transport and how you’ve set it up in your home, the same thing can happen with the calibration software and the tool that you were using to determine what levels this TV can reach and then it’s being filmed with another technology and how does that technology actually view what you’re seeing and translated into video which is pumped out to TH-cam, which is then brought to me via my TV. The truth is I have a great TV and when I watch your videos showing me how wonderful the Sony is and how wonderful the LG is or how you just can’t believe how great the flagship Hisense and TLC tVs are they all look great to me on my TV. My TV looks great and the pictures that you’re showing me look great. What I have learned is that when you go to TH-cam and select 4K 8K whatever demo videos they absolutely look fabulous on a good TV. The reality however is that most television even that filmed in HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision is not filmed the same way as all that demo video and it looks great it never looks that great so there’s really no reason for people who still have to filter what they see on their own TV through their own eyes and their own glasses and their their own brains to be worrying about whether or not they have one brand or another brand spent 6000 10,000 20,000 3000 or $800 on their TV. If they enjoy their TV it’s a great TV.
I have the 77G4 and 65A95L and i can tell you that pack a lot more punch than the A95L. That is because HDR and on the PS5, it has much more clarity and even some kind of 3D pop. It is even brighter in most cases than the X95K miniled which i also have. But the overall image is just amazing. Looks like they copied Sony and improved this. The A95L lowers it brightness on the PS5, the G4 just doesn’t. Much more enjoyable
The picture does look great. My two questions are how does it look with regular SDR from cable or TH-cam Tv? And does this extra brightness help in really dark scenes? Even OLEDs have issues with this in real world scenarios.
if you're considering this TV for watching SDR from cable or yt TV, don't buy it. Buy a Sony X80L or X90L, will be better value for money for your requirement.
@@Sas-wk9lj Thanks, I do watch a lot of 4k movies but since the tv will be used in the family room, SDR content is watched pretty often too. I have a dedicated home theater room for my personal enjoyment but family movies should look good too. I do appreciate and agree with your suggestions though I might just go with the 85 inch Bravia 7 or 9. Sony’s upscaling is the best in my opinion but I was hoping to stay with OLED that might be a bit brighter than my current A80J.
I love TV reviews on this channel but I wish gaming would be at least mentioned in some capacity given that these TVs are so expensive and a lot of people (including me) would like to hear something about it. Anyways other than that I think reviews are really great.
Knew you would be blown away with the pixel level tone mapping algorithm it threw me off at first I thought why does this just look so much better than the other TVs next to it lol, but next to the S95D these 2 trade blows depending on the content but I definitely say G4 got the details and depth though wow, S95D still better with color luminance. Also thank you for saying that about the sound lol I felt like I was alone in my opinion on this same with the remote things gotta change. Before someone says who cares about built in speakers, this is a flagship TV why have bad audio no excuses if you got Hisense delivering better sound with the U7N oh and btw that same U7N backlit premium remote. I agree LG G4 is perhaps the best TV this year definitely in contention for it but these things just feel sad. BTW anyone reading this yes Caleb is right this is worth it over the G3 especially if you are a gamer.
@@Buzza235 in terms of 3D look I'm sure G4 will win. But E9 doesn't have this 3d effect and bravia 9 might be good enough when it comes to black levels, blooming control whilst providing bigger more immersive panel and higher brightness/APL (it would be 77" g4 vs 85" bravia as they are similar in cost).
@@gosman949 Oled cannot properly display 4k nit content because its not bright enough so it clip highlights and you lose details, the bravia 9 will have better details and color in hdr highlights.
I must say my "old" LG C1 65' still wows me with everything I watch/play. It's just tremendously OLED :D That said, I now know what I'm saving My Money for. I've never heard or seen such a glowing review from Caleb in my life and I see no reason why he would lie. I sincerely appreciate all you do to keep consumers well informed. Likes, subs and other clicky internet stuff all around!! Cheers!!
Just upgraded from an 8 year old 50" Panasonic LED to a 55" LG G4. Having it wall mounted as well. Also got the LG G1 soundbar free as part of the deal worth £750, and a free 6 year warranty from Richer Sounds
@danielwolstenholme9649 It was on the website, it said under the details of the TV that there was a free LG G1 soundbar included in the deal. Ring Richer Sounds if you can't find it. The only other thing I can think of is that the offer is over and you may have missed it
@danielwolstenholme9649 My TV and soundbar are coming on Tuesday and will be wall mounted by the installer who was recommended to me by Richer Sounds. I'm going to sell the soundbar as I have a Marantz AV receiver paired with Wharfedale speakers. How is yours? I'm very excited to watch 4K UHD blue rays, play on my PS5 and Xbox SX
@@yeorges You can choose to ignore reality but what I stated is a fact. WRGB OLED is based off white light so when it gets brighter the white light is what increase the brightness so the colors will get duller. QD oled use quantum dots that emit color not white light so when it gets bright the colors will be brighter and more saturated than on a wrgb oled.
@@keithskoglund10 That is not possible beucase of tech limitations, the qd oled panel is supeior to lg because it uses quantum dots for brightness and not white light like lg.
Really looking forward to the head to head with the A95L. I was leaning that way but now I’m not sure. I have a bright living room and that may lean towards the G4. Maybe even the Bravia 9… Just tell me what to buy, Caleb! 😂 I’m upgrading from an LG C1 so I think I’ll see some big improvements. Thanks for being awesome!
Great review! I am an owner of an 83" OLED G4 and S95TR matching Sound Bar - overall very happy, however is anyone experiencing weird sound issues when connected wirelessly via "WOW Orchestra" where you here the sound cut out for a millisecond randomly over time? Like it appears to the ear as a "cut out / popping" sound - it's driving me insane! Please escalate with LG if you think you might be able to help get this issue to their attention!
Now more than ever… a showdown review between the Sony A95L and the LG G4 is needed. I am literally waiting to hear how Caleb weighs in before I make my purchase. Please, please, please do this showdown ASAP!
lol same here, the funny thing I was going to purchase a95L today but decided to see some review videos of it before going to store to increase the hype. Ended up seeing this video and now I can’t decide 😂
What exactly is so different about the G4 compared to the G3? If it is - as you say - significantly better than the G3, then why wasn't there a side by side comparison? Sure, the G4 has received some improvements like the new processor etc. But how does it look in reality? Can you even see the differences or do you need to use a magnifying glass? The G3 is currently available for a good price and I don't see any reason to pay significantly more money for the G4.
Outstanding review from the master. Thankyou Caleb. And thanks for explaining hdr. On mine its just too dark. Gee this tv will be mine one day..but your innovation comment made me hold on for maybe one or two years. Hell..imagine the G8??
Caleb you need to stop this, my house is starting to look like a Bestbuy! lol. The older models, like the A95L should still be in the contest. If an older tv wins best tv of the year, then so be it!
Received and installed the 77 inch G4 in August. It is a good looking , high-quality tv with a great picture which is what I expected. I can’t say I’m exactly blown away by anything in particular though. It can get pretty bright though I guess I need to play with picture settings to get the full potential of the tv. TVs have all gotten so good that it is hard to see any huge differences over another. Watching 4k and 8k videos on TH-cam look outstanding but I think I have a problem with my Appletv connection where it looks better and brighter in HDR mode rather than in Dolby Vision mode. The App on the tv looks way better, Can’t figure that out but this will be a TV that I will keep for a long while.
you want to spend some money, but you don't know on what, that's the kind of situation you're in. You don't really need a TV, you want to spend on the idea that you got no. 1 TV.
@@Sas-wk9lj I'm curious about how the tech has been evolving in different parts of the industry - same reason I watch PC component reviews regularly even if I'm not in the market to buy anything. Not everyone chases reviews for self-validation
that was a great review Caleb, I love the really thin bezel all around. one more thing Caleb, I can't quite make out that album behind you. thanks again Caleb 👍
Great review, as always. I bought my G4 a week ago, and it's been amazing, however, I and a couple of dozen other owners on avs forums have encountered a problem when switching from the inbuilt streaming apps (seems to only happen after watching for more than 10 mins) back to hdmi 2. The screen goes grainy with lines through it, and only unplugging the TV seems to fix it. Have you guys encountered this issue? I'm still waiting to hear back from lg for a solution. Thanks, and sorry for tagging on a reply. @Caleb_Denison
Hi Caleb, thanks for another great review, (I am a LG G3 owner), the question I do have is around the 5-year G4 warranty, is this is a global warranty, or just available in North America. Thanks, Colin, Melbourne Australia.
Hi Caleb, perfect review as always...I currently have a Panasonic TX-P50G30E plasma TV at home and I don't really understand the "climbing for the highest numbers" regarding brightness and such. I found that my TV has a maximum full screen brightness of 87cd/m2 and I think that's enough for me. It is true that I have to close the curtains on the window opposite the TV, but I have a bright room and I can see everything and the picture is nice (not perfect, but nice). The TV is currently "ripe for retirement" and I'm thinking about buying a new one. Everyone scared me that OLED has poor brightness, but I don't think so. What are you think about it? Sorry for my English. Thank you very much.
No reviews I saw ran into the issue, but be aware that there's an issue reported by several owners (including myself) on various forums (avsforum, avforums) when TV is hooked to an AV which handles the various sources through HDMI2. Sometimes (it's very random), switching to this input gives a strange fuzzy picture and the only workaround is to switch off for few mins. Hopefully just some teething issues that LG will fix through firmware, should they acknowledge the problem.
I spent some time on the phone with LG's testing department in AL. The tester was able to replicate the issue and stated he would be submitting a report to LG HQ for a firmware fix. This was in early April when the G4 was first released (but after the Day One update of 3.10.27 released on 4/5/24). Since then, and based on the Korean firmware site, there is no subsequent update. Initially, my reports on various sites were received with doubts and dismissals. Since then, there are many similar reports along with pictures and videos of the exact problem. I also sent a PM to Caleb before he recorded his G4 review and he stated he would look into it. I don't know if his testing unit had these issues, but based on my experience having purchased 3 G4s which all had the same HDMI 2 problems, this is a real and troubling issue which makes this otherwise spectacular TV problematic.
@@pkalellis Do you think there will be a fix for this or do we abandon ship and return the TVs? I am reading about tons of returns to Best Buy on AVS forum
@@rjaraiedi I still have several weeks in my return window so I will wait. But what's unfortunate is that the LG reviewers are giving glowing reviews without addressing this very prevent issue. If they discussed this issue in their reviews, maybe this would push LG to move faster on addressing this issue . . . . One can hope.
Great video as always! You may have to replace the nitt nerds section with tone mapping for nerds featuring real scenes. Cant wait for the shootout. The g4 beats the s95d in many sceens for both brightness and saturatuon: the Samsung chooses to reduce the apl of entire scenes diminishing it's qoled advantage this year and is scene specific making it muddy. Can do is irrelevant if it doesn't well represent implementation be it panel type or testing conditions. Maybe one can cook an egg on the g4 but methinks Samsung took its eye off the ball while LG may have hit a homerun.
I shut off the ads on the LG home screen (C3 tv) but the top section is useless now so about 1/3 of the top when I turn on my TV is a useless image followed by the row of apps. I wish I could customize that top section to "continue watching" or something. A random useless wallpaper is the opposite of smart. As for the remote, I like it. It's bulky, uninspiring, but it works. I like the "mouse" function too, I use it often especially when fast forwarding on movies and going direct to the timeline. When I used someone else's Samsung TV and wanted to forward far into the movie to test a scene, it was long and painful to hold the fast forward button. I do wish the buttons could be customized for the Netflix ones etc, I wish they weren't branded and you could customize or even if I put a chromecast google tv I could program it for the same app for chromecast google tv.
@@martinchitembo1883 I find the audio pretty good on the E7 with no problems with the dialog. Infact, at times, I'd suggest the dialog is better on the E7 speakers than my surround system :)
As always, thank you for your reviews. Makes my job as an integrator calibrator much easier. Question, HDTVTest also (a few days ago) reviewed the G4 and quoted its maximum output brightness at a 10% window at 1500 nits. He is the most technical NIT nerd reviewer I have ever encountered. Interesting, he did not mention an unmeasurable peak luminance. Curious to know where exactly you obtained the information that the G4 utilizing its new processor boosts highlight detail above 1500 nits? And did that person or entity, specify what that number is? Confirming not at all dubious regarding your review just curious as I would think LG would be more than interested in sharing a higher NITS value with anyone within earshot, or shouting distance for that matter ☺️
Exactly and I can promise you he is talking bullshit here xD unmeasurable peak luminance is the most bullshit in a review that I have ever heard. Also who tests and oled with high luminance studio lights on so the studio doesn't get too dark? What is this? Amateur hour?

@@SENCORE_ISF In that case I'm surprised you depend on these reviews on yt as a source of truth about TV specifications and validation. You need to have your own lab to test these things out.
Does this mean that you no longer need to adjust between Cinema and Cinema Home (bright or accurate) like you need to on the G3? Rather the G4 will automatically adjust if it should be in accurate mode or brighter depending on your viewing environment?

I've been gaming on oled for years. Never had a burn in issue on the CX onwards. Completely fine to use a desktop pc monitor too. Also the LG is covered off with multi-year warranty for burn-in which shows what a non-issue it is

Hi, thanks for this informative Video! I am a proud owner of the LG G4 in 65 Inch. Ist is an excellent TV. Greetings from Germany!
Finally I can upgrade from my LG C8 OLED. Been waiting for LG to have the top TV. I wanted the Sony A95L but wife won't accept anything without a magic remote.
😂 "wife wants magic 🪄 remote"
Good one ✅
Terrible excuse lol
Same position tbone! My girlfriend loves the magic remote and webos in LG OLEDs. We also have an a80j in the house and she hates it because of the interface and lack of a magic remote.
Sony is best.
The A95L is superior to the the G4. Especially because of the QD-OLED in the A95L and the even better picture processing. While HGIG support is something that Sony lacks compared to LG.
I wall mounted a 55" G4 for a gaming monitor with a 4090. I sit about 5 or 6 feet away, and it's glorious.
This is my dream setup too! Just curious to ask what games u are playing to see its glorious power. Cyberpunk, horizon, etc?

Yea I play both of those. Everything looks amazing on it because it's an OLED and it's actually bright. Windows 11 even does auto HDR on most games that don't have HDR and it looks excellent.
G4 low profile looks really good
The picture looks amazing!! If I were in the market for a new TV, this would be at the top of my list. What a great review!

We need a head to head with the A95L!

Much more enjoyable
how is the sound on the G4 compared to the world class sound on the A95L?

The picture does look great. My two questions are how does it look with regular SDR from cable or TH-cam Tv? And does this extra brightness help in really dark scenes? Even OLEDs have issues with this in real world scenarios.

the G3 was considered as one of the best TVs for gaming... and the G4 is even better
Sure, the G4 has received some improvements like the new processor etc. But how does it look in reality? Can you even see the differences or do you need to use a magnifying glass? I can’t say I’m exactly blown away by anything in particular though. It can get pretty bright though I guess I need to play with picture settings to get the full potential of the tv.

I just said that to my wife watching this on my 2 month old C3.

I own an LG C2 55" and it is installed in a pretty bright livingroom... trust me, no problem
Thanks for writing about that issue.
Same issue here. HDMI2 issues with distorted picture
You sure LG didn't pull a fast one and sent you a calibrated set?
All reviewers small and big say it’s calibrated out of the box. So nope
Wish they'd revert to the built in bar of dedicated front facing speakers as per the E7.
That speaker on the tv was a beast powered by Harman kardon,so good like a cheap sounder.
@@martinchitembo1883 I find the audio pretty good on the E7 with no problems with the dialog. Infact, at times, I'd suggest the dialog is better on the E7 speakers than my surround system :)

Amateur hour?
here's an advice. When you buy this TV, don't watch any videos or movies. Just keep checking its nits at 10% window all the time.

I’m in the same boat. I’m leaning more towards the G4 only because the A95l doesn’t have a 83 inch version.
A95l is better. Trust that. G4 is not what Caleb is describing. I’ve had both side by side. A95l just looks better.
@@PCHardwire Please elaborate.
@@PCHardwireI agree that it is better than the G4, for me Personally I’m leading to the G4 because the A95l doesn’t come in a 83 inch and the room I am putting it in is quite large.
If u see both next to each other the A95l looks slightly better
I need help with upgrading to the G4. I have a 65 inch LG G1 and I want to upgrade to the G4. How can I sell it? or are there companies that allows me to upgrade?
Can you please put out the comparison video between this tv and the a95l soon please, my return window is closing and I want to know which one to keep! Thank you! Love the channel!!!
any idea which is the best 75 inch tv?
I wish LG included a better remote, but if they offered an upgraded remote I would purchase it.
I use my Apple Remote. The LG sits in a drawer.
Great video Caleb! Can the G4 be mounted with any TV bracket? I ask this since the 65” version doesn’t include LG’s slim wall mount.
It would be great if LG could incorporate QD-OLED technology into its panels
They're using MLA technology instead. That massively boosts brightness as well as color luminance.
@@Icipher4 True.
@@Icipher4compared to the previous G3/2 sure but still is much less in the color gamut and volume department compared to QD
QD-oled = Oversaturated colour with pink tint as a bonus

For anyone considering the G3, remember that the G3 only comes with a wall mount, whereas the G4 has the standard tabletop mount.
I actually love the Magic Remote 😂😂😂
Same
Amazing review, I wonder what is the perfect diagonal, since the resolution for all of them remains the same. Can somebody see individual pixels on 77+ inches ?
Everyone keeps saying QDOLED is superior in color but I have seen direct comparisons to the A95L where game mode color looked superior on G4.
Is it because the A95L was holding back and G4 was accurate or was the A95L accurate and G4 boosting colors
Hmm
So you’re right and EVERYONE else is wrong. 🤷🏽♂️Seems logical 😂
Hey from Sweden, Love Your content 🙂 I have a 77” G3 and going to buy a new tv in a few days, should I buy a 85” Bravia 9, 77” A95l or a 83” G4? Wich would you pick?
I’ll pick the 85 bravia 9
The funniest thing for me is that people say Oled is the best for gaming when the map will be on one place on the screen for all 1000 hours of gameplay, resulting in burn in.
Gaming makes more sense for me on qled and watching movies and series works on oled
Been gaming for thousands of hours on a 2020 LG CX OLED with zero burn-in. Not a factor at all.
I've been gaming on oled for years. Never had a burn in issue on the CX onwards. Completely fine to use a desktop pc monitor too.
Also the LG is covered off with multi-year warranty for burn-in which shows what a non-issue it is
Caleb do you think the G4s audio would work ok as a center channel speaker?
no
Yeah right LG is going closer to Sony processing but still Sony is known for widdest and realistic popping colors that I have seen.❤
Caleb can you tell me what HDMI cables did you use ? thanks . Can't wait for Amazon Prime Day
