I’m sure it’s this way where you live too. But with it being so cold, there isn’t much risk of infection in the winter time. I was really shocked to see that she had gotten an infection. At first we thought she’d been kicked in the face by a moose, which is extremely more likely here. The girls are pushing the moose back two to three times a day around here. We checked for broken bones and didn’t find any. Then come to find out that it was an infection caused by something that she had bit and jammed up underneath her back teeth. Poor buddy! She’s been less than thrilled with me, because I’ve been making her sleep in the house next to my bed so that I can watch her. She is definitely happy to be well enough to be back full-time. Ha!

Oh my goodness poor Juniper! I think my dogs have been sneaking chicken poop. They act like they're not doing anything when I turn around to look at them but then I hear them smacking on something as soon as I start walking again. 😂 I'd lose so much stuff if we had snow like that. I can't find anything now with just bare ground. Your channel is serious stress relief by the way. Who can't be in a better mood after a little bit of time with ya'll. Ha! The VB (vapor barrier) boots have an air gap inside them which doesn’t allow your feet to get cold. The black ones, we call mickey mouse boots and the white ones are called bunny boots. Cold weather fact of the day. Ha!

I learned to take pictures before snow and note benchmarks so I'd have a good idea of where things were. It sometimes amazes me that i can know a piece of ground really well, yet a deep snow makes it really tough for me to say with certainty where i let something stay on the ground.
