PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE COOKIES
1/2 cup of each, brown sugar, white sugar, shortening, peanut butter
1 1/4 c flour
1/4 t baking powder
3/4 t baking soda
1 egg
1/4 t salt
Mix 1T cocoa in 1/2 the dough. Make 50/50 cookie balls, smoosh. Bake 375° for 10 minutes.

Great job putting the shower and kitchen sink drain in. I remember when I was a kid and we carried water 1/4 mile from the spring, we had a washtub we used to take a bath in. Had to heat any water on the stove and used an outhouse. Talk about cold in the winter.
I think cookies are a great reward.

Congratulations on the plumbing drains!! One more step towards the finish!! We remodeled an old abandoned farmhouse that someone had stolen all the pipes out of. We hooked the well and water lines up first and used buckets also. It was such an accomplishment and felt so good when we got the drains in!! Great job and thanks for the laughs while you were doing the job!!!😊

I love how you just admitted to relocating the stuff. I grew up with a game that my mom and grandmother used to play. We called it pile it. It was move this pile and create another somewhere else! I still play that game when I am trying to clean stuff up. When you have generations of stuff it is almost impossible to get rid off. And you never know what is going to be needed soon! Damn I am now sounding like an episode of horders! 😂

We're in Mn. Last year we had record snowfall and the usual cold. We had an old garage we were going to replace. Snow load took care of demoing the old garage. This week is going to be in the 40s. Snow is almost gone. Scary.

Hey friend! I think Mr. Reeve’s favorite is snickerdoodle. And mine is a cookie my mom used to make call melting moments. It’s a butter sandwich cookie with lots of almond extract and an almond flavored filling. 💕😊

Great installation!! How do you keep the new pipes from freezing now that they are installed?
Great question friend. Although underneath the cabin is not heated, it stays around 50° because it’s dug into the ground. So the thermal mass of the ground keeps it from freezing. Also, the stairwell going underneath the cabin stays open from the main part of the cabin. we keep all of our canned goods down there, and we also have a cold food storage room down there as well.
Do you put supports to hold the pipe up to the joists? And ...well now I forget my other question!!

@@amycurrie6766 Reeves a general contractor. Here’s what he says. It depends on your climate and you can get away with it. Here in Alaska, he says we will always put up vapor barrier. The paper backing is a vapor retardant, but not a barrier. If you were looking for a certain energy rating building a home, you would need to put that vapor barrier in. But you can get away without it for sure. 💕

I’ve been pretty lucky! These last 2 days have been the first time my truck hasn’t started. Usually at these temps my everything on the farm won’t start exempt my truck. Everything definitely starts better after being plugged in. Ha!
And how come Crystal can use a kitchen tool in the shower (fork to fix drain... almost) and Reeve was gonna get in trouble if he did?!!!??????!!!????
