You need a special shedding brush. I used a brush called the FURminator on a couple of German Shepherds & one very loving Great Pyrenees. THOSE THINGS WORK GREAT.✌️☺️🐾🐾🌻🇱🇷
We have one somewhere… But we lost it in the shuffle. We were going to buy terminators when we were on our shopping trip, but they are $38 apiece!

My cat loved to be brushed. All I had to do was pick up her kitty brush and she’d jump into my lap! She got a kitty treat after I did her nails, too. They train us so well! The triplets are adorable! They each have a tiny bit of snow on their foreheads!

I believe the berries are more interested in those expensive treats. 😂. The FURminator brush for long haired dogs are amazing. It’s what we use for our heeler and husky’s here. You will never look back after getting that brush. ❤

Good job with the claws. It's too early to brush. I tried doing my big guy and nothing came off. I usually do him in June then I get another dog. They are so pretty. So good to go to the farmer's market, I sell my sewing with upcycled fabrics. Oh they are too cute!! Sage did great.

Love the goats especially when you get to have goats milk all of my favorite. You guys need to get a couple dump trucks gravel over your mud it'll make life so much easier. Actually friend of mine before he built in Alaska he has eight trucks of fine gravel words around his home site and then he ran a compactor over it it's Lowe's of gravel and nice thing is nothing grows around compacted gravel. That's a nice thing if you compact it you know get hard and kind of like concrete
So far we’ve spent $30,000 on dump loads of gravel. Ha! This is why we don’t have a well because we spent all of our well money on gravel. Ha! We’ll get there eventually. We need to get to 1 million subscribers, then I can afford all the gravel we need. Ha!
I gave up on trying to Clip my dog's nails. Use the Dremmel instead. Game changer

I had to bribe my pups with a treat each nail too, both dogs every nail🙄. I gave very tiny treats😂. Now, they get a treat after each paw is done😅, little bit bigger treats & the pup getting trimmed gets a big treat when done..Yes, they have trained me well😂. Hope to see you tomorrow @ the Expo😊

@@FlatTireFarmHomesteadingAlaska I'm happy you did well at expo!! Booth was really eye appealing, that's super important!! That's great idea for sumac. I got some from bushes at our camp, dehydrated and processed. Don't get much from it. It has a conical seed head, as long as your small hand opened, seeds are tight with velty fluff over them. The fluff which, I didn't know (until someone, et hem, wonder who, got me to investigate, lol) is the spice. When I did native American tea, you rinse n use entire seed head. Getting fluff off for spice is a chore, however it's cheaper than buying it!! Have you used it on anything yet?? Or at least dipped your finger in to taste it? I think be great on fish or chicken too. Tea tastes like citrus punch, btw.
