DO LASERS For HAIR Regrowth ACTUALLY Work?!?

  • LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY IS A GROWTH STIMULANT IT IS NOT SOMETHING TO USE FOR STOPPING HAIR LOSS.
It is something to use to accelerate hair regrowth after you've stopped hair loss well.
A growth stimulant will improve the width and diameter of the hair shaft to improve the energy supply to the hair follicle now, which has nothing to do with blocking the mechanisms for hair loss.
To begin with, you're putting it directly on the scalp twice weekly; realistically, you should use it following your particular hair type twice weekly.
For somebody starting out, you should be using it for about 10 minutes. Then, you can increase it, usually every 90 days, by about 5 minutes for each treatment session. I recommend only one device, which is the LC Elite by advanced trichology.

Is there harm in using the laser while there is hair fall?

I bet a intense steam room session or sauna session would be amazing for hair loss/regrowth. I mean the heat in increasing blood flow and vasodialtion to the body and surface of the skin. Your sweating out oil sebum and cleansing the follicle letting it breathe and get blood flow and oxygen.

The problem with this guy is that he’s always trying to sell his own products and that makes me not trust him as everything he suggest he would financially benefit from as there his products

I completely understand where you’re coming from. It’s natural to be cautious when someone recommends products that they also sell, as it can sometimes feel like there’s a conflict of interest. Trust is essential when it comes to healthcare and treatment recommendations, especially for something as personal and impactful as hair loss.
      ### What You Can Do:
      1. **Get a Second Opinion**: If you’re unsure about any product recommendations, it’s always a good idea to seek advice from a neutral third party, like another dermatologist or trichologist. They can provide an unbiased perspective on what treatments might be best for you.
      2. **Research the Ingredients**: Look into the active ingredients in any recommended products. There’s a lot of information available about what works for hair loss (like minoxidil, finasteride, or biotin) and what doesn’t, so you can make an informed decision based on the evidence.
      3. **Focus on Evidence-Based Treatments**: Stick to treatments that have been well-researched and proven to be effective, regardless of who sells them. Products like minoxidil and finasteride have a long track record and are widely available, so you don’t have to rely on any one source.
      4. **Consider Generic Alternatives**: Many hair loss treatments have generic versions that contain the same active ingredients as branded products but are available from various sources, often at a lower cost.
      5. **Balance Your Options**: While some proprietary products may be effective, they are not your only option. A balanced approach can include both prescription treatments and over-the-counter products that are widely available.
      ### Building Trust:
It’s crucial that you feel comfortable and trust the recommendations you’re following. If you ever feel pressured to buy something or aren’t convinced of its value, it’s okay to take a step back, do more research, or ask for alternative options.
At the end of the day, your health and comfort are the most important things, so always feel empowered to choose the treatments and products that feel right for you. 🌟
If you’d like more guidance or have specific concerns about certain products, I’m here to help answer any questions you might have!

Using a laser helmet is it okay to get some scalp from it feeling it the next day?

    • @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist
      @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Experiencing some scalp sensitivity or a slight tingling sensation after using a laser helmet is not uncommon, especially if you're new to the treatment. This can happen as your scalp adjusts to the stimulation from the low-level laser therapy (LLLT). However, there are a few things to consider:
      1. **Mild Sensations**: A little bit of warmth or tingling is usually okay, but it shouldn't be painful. This mild sensation is typically due to increased blood flow to the scalp.
      2. **Duration of Use**: Make sure you're following the recommended duration and frequency for using the laser helmet. Overuse can lead to scalp irritation.
      3. **Adjusting Use**: If the sensitivity persists or worsens, consider reducing the frequency or duration of your sessions. Give your scalp time to adjust.
      4. **Consult a Professional**: If the sensation doesn't improve or if you experience redness, swelling, or pain, it's best to consult with a dermatologist or trichologist to ensure the device is being used correctly and to rule out any adverse reactions.
In general, laser helmets are safe when used as directed, but always listen to your body and make adjustments as needed.

There’s a course from my perfect hair health that I found massages from in a particular way that have given quite a few people who have had drastic results from daily massages alone.

    • @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist
      @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

It’s great to hear that you’ve found something promising, and scalp massages can indeed be a valuable part of a hair care routine! The idea behind these massages is to improve blood circulation to the scalp, which can potentially help with hair growth by delivering more nutrients and oxygen to the hair follicles.
      ### Benefits of Scalp Massages:
      - **Increased Blood Flow**: Regular scalp massages can help improve circulation, which might support hair growth.
      - **Reduced Tension**: Massages can also relieve tension in the scalp, which some people believe can contribute to healthier hair.
      - **Stimulating Hair Follicles**: Massaging the scalp can help stimulate the hair follicles, possibly encouraging growth.
      ### The Specific Massage Technique:
If this course provides a specific method or technique that has shown results for others, that’s definitely something worth considering. The key with any scalp massage routine is consistency-doing it regularly over time is what might yield the best results.
      ### Things to Keep in Mind:
      1. **Gentle Pressure**: It’s important to use gentle pressure to avoid irritating the scalp or causing damage to the hair.
      2. **Consistency**: Like many other treatments, consistency is crucial. Daily or regular massages are likely needed to see noticeable effects.
      3. **Patience**: Hair growth is a slow process, so it might take several months to see the full benefits.
      ### Complementing with Other Treatments:
While scalp massages can be beneficial, they might work best when combined with other treatments or a holistic approach to hair health. This could include a balanced diet, proper scalp care, and, if necessary, the use of products or supplements that address specific deficiencies or conditions.
      ### Success Stories:
Hearing about drastic results from others is encouraging and shows that for some people, this approach can be effective. Everyone’s hair responds differently, so it’s great to experiment and find what works best for you.
If you’re seeing progress with this method, that’s fantastic! Keep up with the massages, and if you’re interested, consider integrating other supportive practices that align with your overall hair care goals.
