Awesome day and video brotha! Nothing like Baffin Bay man can't beat it. Just a thought but I think if you bend out your weedless hook a bit and make it more parallel with the bait it might help with your hookup ratio. To me it looks like its digging into the bait a little more then it needs to be.

@@tnafishing7 yea man I know all to well about them rocks lol. I’ve lost a few jig heads myself but weedless is a way to go for sure when you want to avoid snagging them. Awesome man I appreciate the follow!
Wonderful to be able to fish Baffin when it’s calm. The sea lice (harmless) on the belly indicate they’re frequently lying on the bottom.

@@tnafishing7 I’d try this for Baffin but given the commute and typical weather and wind, it seems risky or iffy for me. But man, I’ve looked at kayakin accessible Baffin shorelines and hoping.
You have to pick and choose when to kayak there! Waters there get rank quick and are mostly unprotected. Let me know if you need help accessing launch spots etc!

Calm days are always the best in Baffin. Last time it was calm i was able to get a monster 50in red.

@@tnafishing7 Will do. Respect on your fish handling techniques with the big girls and also with the fish you kept. Love seeing people kill the fish and bleed them before throwing them into the cooler instead of letting them suffocate in the cooler.
@@Jwt-kb3yx Everyone needs to take care of our precious resources including fish! I try to avoid handling the fish as much as I can! Dispatching a fish is definitely the humane thing to do plus they taste better when you bleed em out! 😉

Look up Baffin Bay Seafood Restaurant and you can launch right next door. Pick a calm day cuz it’s gets rank with just a little wind
