- We are out kayak fishing on the hobie outback in search of some belly crawling redfish. These fish have been pulling up on these tidal flats feeding early. With light winds and sunny skies making sight casting these redfish with smaller lures so much more exciting.

Very nice 👍. I use Down South 95% and if they start acting spooky like that I will shoot some extra pro cure on them also , or get a spray bottle of the refresher juice of down south lures . Also on a side note Yolotek sells a white cover for the GoPro to not overheat so fast . Tight lines
For sure love the action on down south and they hold up well. Definitely gonna check out the Yolotek cuz best time for me on the flats is when it’s dead calm in summer for then reds. GoPros end up dying !
Seen multiple test done with procure and other brands. Seems like it’s more of a fad. Tried it myself and think the same

I run into this situation a lot in the marsh. "Spooky reds!" I've had very good luck switching to buggs lures with great success. Also seems to be the only lure I can get black drum to bite.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about them. I never really gave them a chance but definitely need to try. And that’s saying a lot to get a black drum on a lure
