Great Video Good Fishing - I had to laugh at "Don't want to Horse em". That is something i used to say to my Bass Fishing buddies as they would fight the fish too long.
Thanks, really appreciate it! Gotta love the classic sayings that come from fishing sometimes.
Big Papa Pearl is a must have! Way to get on em man 😮💨🎣
Absolutely, Ive been finding alot of success with dark bodied baits with chartreuse tails this winter, Down Souths always been solid for me. Curious, whats your go-to lure?
Had myself a day like that recently . Hard to leave the water. Good job!
Absolutely! And it always seems to happen when time is limited or I have obligations off the water. What was your trip like? Catching trout also? Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed.
Very nice session, that's one of my winter go to spots. Tight lines to ya!!
Thanks, it was a great day to be on the water for sure! Maybe Ill bump into you out there sometime.
Solid day and SOLID trout 👏
Tough to beat days like that! Thanks buddy.
Solid dear sighting in the beginning. You’ve got those TX trout dialed in good! Nice job, looks like an awesome day!
Man, I was so close to shooting that deer. He gave me a broadside shot at 7yds for 5 mins, no clue I was there, ultimately I decided not to. Thanks buddy, It was a great day all around, lots wildlife and fish!
On point! Great video love!!!
Thank you
Nice!!
Thank you!
He is so regal looking
Definitely. Quite a way to start the morning off!
All those trout and not one cast with the faithful topwater….something told me not to let you out of my sight. 😂😂😂 awesome video brotha!!!
Hahaha, they were only committed to plastics being jigged off the bottom. Trust me, when things start warming in the spring Ill be back on that topwater game! Might even make my 2 hooks fishing guide proud. 🤣
Well put together video brotha!
I appreciate that, thank you!
You moved over from AL right! Glad to see ya transitioning to these waters. Ol jarhead here, ever want to link up let me know!
@@TidewatersFishing Good stuff! Yea, use to fish alot of MS/AL/FL waters. We'll definitely have to link up sometime. Dropped a sub btw. Saw you do some freshwater. I have a huge passion for bass fishing but havent done any since Ive been in TX.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors I put on an annual multi-species event that runs in Oct. 1st Day Redfish in Coastal Waters and 2nd Day on Lake Bastrop for Bass. Been a fun one!
@@TidewatersFishing oh nice, Ill have to take a deeper look into that closer to time.
I gotta make a trip down there.
Absolutely, Its an amazing fishery!
Dang nice trout!!!
Thank you
She was a beaut for sure. I know you were wanting me to chase reds, I think youll enjoy the next video. Have you been on any good trout bites lately?
@@Jacemang_Outdoors I enjoy all of your vids… but I’m from N Fl big bend area… we don’t get big trout like y’all got over there lol… slots and low to mid 20’s … yea since it has cooled down they have schooled up it seems , last 2 times out I caught a good amount of them , most keepers almost 21 being the biggest I caught … guy I was fishing with caught a 23
@@CreekDonkeyFishing I appreciate it. Those are some good size ones for sure. I dont know how far you are from Mosquito Lagoon but there are some tanks in there.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors yea .. that’s about 5 hours south of me … can’t wait till the next vid brother!!
Enjoyed you video. If you don't mine, where do you launch from.
Thanks, Im glad you enjoyed it. There is a marina just north of Pita Island that you can launch from, small launch fee. Just north east of the marina there are free areas to launch along the shore. Ive used both.
Prerty sure ur fishing king ranch area is considered as lower laguna but i could be wrong...lol
I've fished lower Laguna, however in this video I'm fishing northern King Ranch Shoreline which most seem to agree begins approximately just south of the power plant in Flour Bluff and essentially runs to Baffin and into Cayo Del Grullo. I've noticed varying interpretations of areas such as "upper/lower" laguna, "Kates hole/Deadman's" etc. I'm not really drawing from specific property lines but it's technically close enough for me.
