Recently (July Arkansas), the bass aren't interested in my shad baits. I have been TX rigging wither a white trick worm or a SK Shimm-E-Stick baby bass and they have been snapping!

No this was JUST before all the mess with flooding and high tides. Tides should be going back down with storm gone and full moon passing but you should be good!!

You feel a little barbaric at first 😆 but taste better and can keep them in fridge longer without getting that fishy smell.

I run into this situation a lot in the marsh. "Spooky reds!" I've had very good luck switching to buggs lures with great success. Also seems to be the only lure I can get black drum to bite.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about them. I never really gave them a chance but definitely need to try. And that’s saying a lot to get a black drum on a lure

Very nice 👍. I use Down South 95% and if they start acting spooky like that I will shoot some extra pro cure on them also , or get a spray bottle of the refresher juice of down south lures . Also on a side note Yolotek sells a white cover for the GoPro to not overheat so fast . Tight lines
For sure love the action on down south and they hold up well. Definitely gonna check out the Yolotek cuz best time for me on the flats is when it’s dead calm in summer for then reds. GoPros end up dying !
Seen multiple test done with procure and other brands. Seems like it’s more of a fad. Tried it myself and think the same What scent do you like to use?

One is a laguna liquid series and another is a Waterloo salinity. Both 7’ medium action. I always wanted to try longer rod
