- Nothing like throwing some soft plastics and my go to Double D's for speckled trout. We had an awesome trip on the water and I learned a new way to work the Double D. So sit back and enjoy some of the great fish we caught on this trip. Remember to step out of your comfort zone and try something new when it comes to artificial lures.

Much appreciated brotha! I definitely will...the past 3 weeks got crazy for me and didn't get to go down and fish. But man did we have us a great trip and I couldn't have asked for a better day. I should be getting back to a more normal posting, also got a few tournaments coming up so stay tuned for that.
Like you did one of those last trout, you showed it is possible to use the Bogas without poking a hole in the trout’s jaw.

Thanks brotha I appreciate that especially coming from you! It’s been great so far I have no complaints what so ever. I really enjoy how you can adjust it on the fly, and it’s smooth and the drag it awesome. It’s also held up really well in the saltwater so far, which is a big plus in my book. To be honest I’m about to go by me another one for a back up.

Where can you buy the Double D, s
If you are in the Texas area you can buy them at Tackle Town in Rockport, Roy's Bait and Tackle in Corpus Christi or just google Texas Custom Double D and there will be websites you can purchase them from.
What are the Double D,s?
They are a hard bait similar to a mirrodine. They're a subsurface bait and when you work them they will dive 1-2 foot and slowly rise up.
