Great video 👍 I’m always trying new things. Got the CORKY bug 😂 a couple of years ago. Then I got the sofdine XL’s made a few custom designs for the C.C. Bay front & Ingleside areas. But still catch more trout and reds with a Zman diesel minnow than with all of those $12.00 to $20.00 plugs.🤷🏻♂️🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟. Very nice trout👍!
Thanks man I appreciate it. Yea I know what you mean on that lol. I can't ever walk out of Tackle Town or Roy's without spending a couple hundred on lures. I got my fare share of Corky's and Soft Dines, SD XL's and I recently got in about 10 MirrOlures in 18MR, 27MR and Texas Custom Double D's that I'm going to do a video on in the next week are so. You can't beat some good ole soft plastics for the price but man it's fun catching them on these MirrOlures.
Oh yeah they really smack those plugs. My favorite color of soft plastics is what K Wigglers called neon it’s clear with red and silver flake. But I will give it to Salt Strong their Brazilian power prawn has the right (neon) color and is 10 X’s toughness of a regular soft plastic.
That’s good to know man I’ve never thrown any Salt Strong’s soft plastics but I’ll have to look into some. Appreciate the info brother.
Congrats on the PB. What retrieve were you using with that Double D and did you have any missed hits?
Appreciate it brotha. So I was doing a 2 twitch and pause and twitching it pretty aggressive. And every so often I would do a 3 twitch and pause for 2-3 seconds and back at it again. I found them to be hitting it on the pause 98% of the time. I never had any miss hits they were tagging it every time. The last trip in Baffin I had some come off but you know trout and their soft mouths. But all in all a great bait to throw and a new favorite for sure of mine. Appreciate the support!

Can you legally keep a over the limit quantity of trout in that bag, like use the bag to cull out smaller fish through the day ? How does that work, just curious.
Technically no
Marvin's right, but when I'm out I only keep my keeper fish in it and release everything else. If I keep any fish I like to keep them lower in the slot but that's just me.
What kind of wading belt do you use?
