This is going to be a great episode. M5(Moscow5) was the reason why I started watching League of Legends esports back in season 2. They felt like G2 from 2019. You never knew what they'd do. They always had crazy new ideas, like Urgot ADC from Ganja, Shyvana invading from Diamondprox, and all the crazy stuff from Darien. Remember all the memes? See hero kill hero. And Darien smoke weed everyday. It was so sad when they lost to TPA(Taipei Assassins), but Toyz was smurfing on Orianna. In the end TPA won season 2 Worlds, they were on next level than others. This was before Korean era :)😊😉👍

ECC Poland, M5 vs CLG.EU grand final and the M5 run in IEM world champs was nuts too not losing a single map. Season 2 open circuit was the greatest part of league for me, IPL 5 some say was the real season 2 world championship.
Two favorite historical moments with Gambit/M5 that come to my mind were: 1. 2014 EU LCS spring split w1, Gambit vs SHC, where Darien pulled out Warwick ban. It quite literally opened my mind when I saw Diamondprox consistently outpathing and invading enemy jungle wolves with Shyvana on repeat. That is one of the most innovative game concepts in League's history and set the tone for the idea that "There's levels to this" in the jungle. Trying to emulate that in solo queue games is some of the most fun I've had in gaming.
