@@MestoLV i think after a few rough answers from lustboy he good into the mood and I understood his answers after that quite well. The "a yeah from lustboy is more then 5 sentences from everyone else" was true as hell and his take on the whackness of NA, that one with the individual player gap, was one of the best answers to this question i ve heared in a long time.

I love the episodes with Odoamne. It seems like he enjoys doing these shows as he is way more outspoken here, than what I see from him on the LEC.

lol I don't play much league anymore but I still distinctly remember when I told a teammate "Hey just farm under tower, we can win the other lanes" and he said I was being toxic and he went AFK. Any sort of communication can just be perceived as toxic at anytime

i feel like it is not mentioned enough that th average rookie in traditional sports is 21 or 22 with 10+ years team sports and coaching experience.
the average LCS rookie is 16 or 17, with no experience with teammates or coaching.
i often wonder how much help it would be to increase the age limit of LCS to 18, drop academy to 15 and use it as a "college" style league for everyone to learn what being on a team is before they hit LCS
I don't think that changing the age limit to 18 would help. You have academy players that have been there for years, and they still fail to develop when they hit a chance to compete in the LCS. I think you're in the right track, but i see the issue related more to the inmaturity of the coaching scene rather than the amount of coaching exposure the players have
@@Diego-km2qr very true. in traditional sports you are almost always coached by an older figure. someone who is at least a generation above you.
someone in their early twenties will not have the same dynamic as when u see a 60 year old man who coached your dad as well.
@@luckyiccy5861 Age doesn't necessarily transfers to success, one good case of this is the failure of the Korean coaching staff in the past years. The main issue is the absence of experience in dealing with complicated young players that act as kids their age usually act (with some exceptions). As the scene grows, we'll hopefully be able to see complicated rosters with "Toxic" players in their core being successful.
Nah most LCS rookies gotta go through academies and amateurs before and they're always like 20 yrs old when they make it to the LCS. The whole college style thing is dumb because its gonna hold back NA even more. Europe has their ERLs and Chinese & Korean rookies actually start at 17. No import will ever wanna come to NA if they use that college nonsense.

I'm a big fan of Odo. He has a rare balance between competitiveness and maturity that makes him exceptional. Regardless of his results as a player, this guy is going to shine in the esports scene even after retirement.

Odoamne is still my favorite guest, just always feels insightful and emotionally invested, with the conversation bounce being smooth af from jokes to shifting back to forming serious opinions
I Love this episode, but I found Thoorin should be the guy asking the questions when theres korean or bad english guests as he helped out Lustboy quite alot. No hate as I love they way Monte asks the right stuff. Love you guys for putting out so much content.
Lmao I watched the first 10 minutes of Hotline league and the first 10 minutes of this. The difference in quality is absurd. Go watch the first 10 minutes of the newest hotline League with Ryoma and thank god that this kind of content exists as well.
Hotline league is literally trash tier smut that cash grabs by allowing people to get on the stream and voice their own opinions. You have a bunch of idiots with bad/ill informed opinions getting setup so Mark can talk down to them.
As I was writing this comment on my thoughts about Toxicity, Monte and Thorin already made every point I wanted to. Criticism and stating fact is labeled as toxic, any time someone's feefees are hurt they cry toxicity to discredit you, just like many other words in the social media era. There are far too many enemies of language with a platform out there

My favorite part of the Sneaky-DL-Meteos thing is it really shows how much of a double standard shitters reddit is. That trio literally goes on same rants in sometimes even less filtered way than Dom and reddit just can't stop eating it up as quality content while still arguing if Dom is toxic.

And btw kk0ma is not the coach of T1LoL and he has not been for quite awhile now.
And bang is still extremely good. He had some pretty good stats and some of the best stats in NA during his time here. Even though he was on the worst team at one point. But sadly there were massive issues on that roster ideration"s". Even while on 100T he was still preforming better then most AD in the league. Heck even on EG he was preforming fine aswell.
Now bangs most recent split in the LCK during spring 2021 he looked amazing was still one of the best preforming players in the league and if not the best preforming player on AF.
With that said Leo is a monster in his own right I have been following him sense his t ime on T1 Academy he has extreme potential but that still has nothing to do with what they are talking about in the video.

He got subbed out for strategic reasons that I don't personally agree with or to give easyhoon game time. He also had them play different champions and subbed them in and out mid series. He wasn't benching faker and saying you aren't going to play on the main team anymore.
I'm still trying to figure out why Tactical is the Champion of solo Q, but can't find a way to be the best ADC in NA.

Lmao I have the opposite vibes from the tricast with Doublelift Sneaky and Meteos, Doublelift always seems to defer to Sneaky and praise him, while also echoing Sneaky's occasional mannerisms.

Ego is actually a thing that holds you back when you get to the top. It’s a false self that you built up through belief and negative experiences. Once you learn to shatter that ego and be whatever you built yourself to be without the false identity, that’s when you become great.
