    Just had these installed- my teeth no longer chatter when I ride. A much, much better ride - softer, smoother, but no loss of control. Also eats parking lot bumps for lunch. Thanks to Rishi and his guys

    Model 3/Y's use same kit?
    Interested in this kit for 21 MYP once basic warranty runs out

    Does Tein Flex Z coilovers use the same dampers? I like that no external bump stop feature.

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  ปีที่แล้ว

      no that's different. Flex A would be internal bumpstop but not made for Tesla as yet. Maybe soon.

    Can you adjust the stiffness of the front without lifting (behind the hood) ? How about the back, your video stops, adjustable without taking them off ?

    • @Ianmundo
      @Ianmundo 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes, the adjuster for the fronts is accessible, under the hood remove a plastic cowl and you can see the top of the shock towers. To get access to adjust the rears, the car must be jacked to remove the wheel and the top hat has to be unbolted but the lower connection between the lower control arm and the shock doesn’t need to be removed

    I didn't get it, is it really much more comfortable than 2023 long range stock? Does it reach to a stage that I can compare it to a vw id4?

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  ปีที่แล้ว

      Without a doubt more comfy than a 2023 long range stock suspension. We haven’t driven an id4 so can’t compare to that, sorry.

      Didn’t Tesla just update the 2023 Model Y Long Range suspension in May 2023 ? So are you comparing this to the suspension prior to the latest Model Y LR suspension or the most current?

    For your springs , what shock settings did you use for front and rear?

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  ปีที่แล้ว

      that's very subjective but I can confirm you want the rear 2 to 3 clicks softer than the front. From there you can play and find your happy place.

    • @overkillonslash
      @overkillonslash ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zevcentric not yet, i plan to install them on my alphard anh30 minivan which at its stock form has too much oscillation and underdamped on the front. The stock rear however seems abit stiffer which makes small vibrations more felt.
      Since the road in my country is pretty rough, i plan to try 14 in the front and 16 on the rear or 12/14

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@overkillonslash Oh well that's a completely different chassis and the valving will be completely different. Please disregard my recommendations. We cannot compare apples to oranges. You'll need to just set them evenly and then just adjust the front or the rear until they both have similar "oscillations" per se. Or rather take bump and rebound at similar rates.
