    TEIN is not a Chinese product.
    It's a Japanese car suspension maker.
    Manufacture and sale in Japan

    How have they held up after three years of use?

    • @Walter370z
      @Walter370z 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had mines on my 370z with h&r springs for two yrs and they are awesome shocks/struts and can adjust the soft/hard setting super easy like coilovers .

      @@JG-nw3ub you have the plus or basic endura pro , hows the ride qaulity ? ever used lowering spring ?

    • @JG-nw3ub
      @JG-nw3ub ปีที่แล้ว

      I had the plus model that has the adjustable dampers. It was paired with swift lowering springs. I felt the ride quality was exceptional especially having the ability to adjust damper softness/stiffness. In total I drove on them for about 2.5 years and have since upgraded to coilovers.

      Im curious myself. My rear got threaded during a repair and it kinda reminds me of the way it looks

    • @JG-nw3ub
      @JG-nw3ub 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are an oem strut replacement. Not coilovers.

    I installed these on a 04 acura TL and the front ones feel good (left the OE rubber stock/boot in them since it didn't come with one), but the rear ones came with the boot and smaller white rubber stock, which I used), but I left OE tapered washer that sits on the top end, like how it was in the OE), but now when I hit a bump, it's like the rear thumps hard, did not use to do that. Was I supposed to not use the rubber stocks at all in either and also take out OE washer? It's pretty odd that TEIN's website doesn't address these swap differences..They slightly mention it on rear part note, but no explanation on what to do. Any advice from experience in working with these vs OEM ones. Thanks!

      @ so odd as they advertise them to be ultra smooth. Feels like the instructions are not given correctly...

      @tomr1107 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      These have an internal bump stop. You dont run the stock OE bump stops when using this shocks and strut.

    • @Mystic-on5xy
      @Mystic-on5xy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tom R yes that why people get that bump like when you bottom out is because the shock can’t fully compressed with the stock BS on.

    • @JG-nw3ub
      @JG-nw3ub 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Tom R although these have an internal bumpstop, these still require oem bumpstop and dustboots if Tein doesn’t already provide it for the application.

    Are these shocks twin tube or monotube? Also, don't I no longer need to install oem hardware like bump stops and strut boots?

    • @joshmangan4468
      @joshmangan4468 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I’ve read, you’ll need to keep the OEM hardware, but they are twin tube

    • @JG-nw3ub
      @JG-nw3ub 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are twin tube design. And for some applications, oem hardware ie bump stops and dust boots are required when they aren’t provided by Tein.
