@@OhSoTiredMan but the razor phone 2 alone costs already more than twice as much as a Switch Lite and still 200€ more than a normal Switch + the 120€ of the Razer Junglecat.
So the Switch Lite costs 220€ and the Controller + the phone cost 620€. Pretty much three times the price of the Switch lite.
The normal Switch costs 300€ and the price of the controller + phone would still cost more than twice the amount of the switch.
It doesn't look good for the controller + phone.
@@Prochaska97 razer phone can play xbox, playstation, and nintendo games. Yes you can do that on the switch but you run risk of getting banned and bricking the system. The razer phone can do more then the switch and can easily be pocketed. Don't forget that the razer phone has better audio and more controller options than the switch.

@@Prochaska97 lites screen is smaller than the regular switch and only 720p display while razer phone is 1440x2560 with refresh rate of 120Hz. And it's a phone.

Implying you can't play with a Switch on the go, also you buy a Switch for the games available to it that an Android phone couldn't ever have access to or run
@@veisslie_4880 You know there are many phones that are more powerful than the switch like Red magic 3s, ROG 1 and 2, iPhone x, xr, xs, and 11, Galaxy note10 and more.
The Gaming hamster is that so? Because last I checked none of those have a CPU and a dedicated GPU as well, rather a CPU with integrated graphics instead...a dedicated GPU is a serious edge over the rest
That being said, the games you can run on the Switch? I can’t see those be ran on a phone, unless for whatever reason you think the phones can run Witcher 3 (even if it’s downgraded for the Switch) and BoTW
The Gaming hamster Look at it this way, the phones you mentioned aren’t even nearly as powerful given they’re all snapdragon like the Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The Switch has a pretty fucking good CPU and is bloody loaded with newer Tegra graphics, which last I checked, doesn’t have an equal that exists on a phone.
The Gaming hamster there is no way my iPhone XR is faster than my Nintendo Switch. Absolutely not. Unless you can get Witcher running at over 30fps on my phone and with better graphics than my Switch, you are crazy.

I wish Razer would have actually made those compatible with Switch... That would have been interesting but I think Joycons are patented so Razer cannot use the same tech Nintedno used in joycons at least the rails and click in lock...

In home streaming work well? Ive tried it with pretty good routers, not the best, but still pretty laggy if you want it to look 'okay' at the least.

Well. I won't say they blatantly copied them. They made 'improvements' which are ok. I still prefer other brands for example logitech as I believe their warranty and after sale service is more reliable. I would like to give a razer product a try though.

on black friday is gonna be 200 usd in walmart
instead of an especific case for the phone, it would be better with resizable rails so you can use them with any phone

If they also chucked battery in the cover for extended playtime, it would be pretty neat.
some design issues ive seen:
1. the left controller definitely should have had a d-pad
2. the placement of the face buttons looks like it's gonna put some strain on ur right hand after use
Great video. Think I'm convinced to buy it now. A little worried about the case scratching up my RP2 since I will be constantly taking it in and out (why no logo cutout razer!?), but it looks ok from your video.

Thanks man! ETA prime went through this but not with as much detail as you. Only gripe I have with this is that the game pad app has no type of touch emulation or other settings.
One thing you forgot to mention is you can take the Razor phone 2 hook it to a TV and then use the Jungle-cat with the separator just like a docked switch would be

I was tempted to get it but if you need a specific case for each phone .... If I change to another phone in the future I would not be able to use this , I'm using a Razer phone 2

@@DatHombre you do realise a tegra x1 chip is from 2015, android hasn't had a current device besides the shield tv that runs it. and infact it probably can play botw there is already a switch emulator

Can you use them on PC without using that adapter to join them? I'd like to be able to play with both arms separated, completely resting on the chair's arms.
The divider should be wider or adjustable for when you choose to use it as a controller while casting the phone to your tv. I might just 3D print a wider one.

I just use an extendable attachment for my PS4 controller to hold the phone, boom cost me £10.

Rriestone Daquis Portability shouldn’t cost that much. They are simple controllers. You can get a PS3 or Xbox 360 for that price. There are many other options for less than half the cost.

Do you need to download the app? I have Gameboy emulator on my Experia phone and just want to use it as a controller without any of the normal Play Store games.
what do I put this whole entire thing in to keep it from breaking, wish there was a carry case. it deserves one for the price it has. a stylish one at that. one with lots of padding to keep the phone case plus joycons from crashing on the ground and breaking. a case that carries the whole thing together as one.

I don't get it - if you need specific cases for your particular phone, why not add a USB connection to the case and pass through connection for the controllers when attached? That way you get latency-free wired controllers, no extra power consumption and the option to charge the whole setup whilst playing.
Could you use this on the samsung galaxy s9 instead of note 9?

You can use Raiju Mobile even on PC so for homeground playing its much better

They got a new better controller now that can. It also works on more phones than just 3.

I have the Note9 and just ordered the Junglecat.
With the upcoming xCloud and Stadia services I really look forward to using this controller often.
I hate to say it but I feel like most people won't use the included case unless actually gaming.
If this is true then both the phone case and joycons will need to be carried everywhere.

A quick review after 45 minutes of using on the Junglecat on a Note9 playing Rocket League and Fortnite via Xbox Game Stream and Fortnite natively on the phone.
I find myself wishing the A button was the closest to the Right Thumbstick.
It feels unnatural to reach for the most common button.
Buttons all feel great.
Thumbsticks are seem decent enough, but not overwhelmingly amazing.
Afraid I might snap the joycons off the case during an intense Rocket League session.
Fortnite felt cleaner on playing it natively, than game stream.
Both games on game stream had issues seeing objects at long distances, but this is expected as the games are made for big screen TVs.
Thinking retro games and emulators will be the bread and button of this new toy.
Definitely hope it doesn't become another MOGA or Shield Controller.

unless your playing at school or something i don't see why youd be playing on your phone long enough to need a Bluetooth controller and if your going on a trip than your probably gonna bring the full controller for more comfort also the full controller doesn't block your USB port

Why would razer not make these universal like so many other phone bluetooth controllers where you just open the joycons wide and slot the phone or even tablet in.

Amazon has similar products for far less. $15 - 20 on the cheap side. But if you step up to $50 - 60 you can get something really good.
