Ive watched all the greats: Ninja Nerd, Dr. Mike, The Organic Chemist and holy crap they are good but you are great. High yield and I loved it. They are very much into small small details which is also good but hats off to you and all these people for SUCH EXCELLENT content. Thank you sincerely!!!!
hey, what do you study
@@B2L2007 cellular & molecular biochemistry
This is beyond amazing! THANK YOU!
IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AWESOME CLEAR EXPLAINATIONS LIKE THIS, APPRECIATE YOU DIRTY MEDICINEEEEE!
Clear and straight to the point- your channel will certainly blow up, my friend
U r a life saver and a time saver for med students and post grads..... Stay blessed
When i can afford it as a resident, I will come back and join your channel. Thank you for this playlist it is concise and evrything that is required. I am really greatful for your effort and keeping it free
What a good, straight to the point and relevant video!! 🙏
Hey, dirty. I'm doing medical school in Brazil, but I want to come there soon and do all the steps and try a residency there, and at this moment I'm at the begging of medical school, and your videos are helping me a lot, even to my university exams. Thank you!!
In PA school, and I have been watching you guys even before, brilliant job!!! Thank you for putting this content out here for us to always refer back to.
I’m not even in med school yet. I’m just studying for my MCAT and I find your videos better than the MCAT-specific resources out there.
(in evil voice) we will meet again
Don't go to med school, it's the biggest mistake of my life (semi-serious)
@@anthonyvillanueva5226 I should have gone to dental school instead lol
@@palmspirit1833 ^ from a dental student i must say, maybe you should have not gone to dental school instead lmao
@@finnsfann98 🤣🤣🤣
JUST WHEN I NEEDED IT THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!
I mean, you really deserve a medal
You are an icon of medicine
Thank you so much! You're the best!😀
This video has best diagram for gluconeogenesis, excellent explanation 👏
Thank you! Just in time, exam next week!
the whole biochem playlists is boss level!
🤩
Thank you!!
Awesome video
Nice presentation
Thank you for this 🙌
love u dude. great videos
Thank you so much sir 😊
Very very helpful ☺️
Thank you!
Heyyy! I am very fond of your videos from last year ! Can you please make rest of videos for biochemistry?
Please ❤
Helped me with my med school biochemistry metabolism course.
POP FFRESH GGOUDA is the most brilliant thing I have ever heard.
Thank you Dirty Medicine 🔥🙏🏾
Thank you
🙏 thanks for this
Oh god I'm in love with his voice 😭😭😭
thank you!!!
Thanks ..
Thanks sir!!!😊
Must admit the 'tase' mnemotechnic is pretty clever 👍🏻
Can u please make a video on a basic structure of a cell with functions of each part and also regeneration of a cell?
ThaNK YOU SO MUCH
Thanks sir!!!!!
Thanks
THANKS
Can you talk about oxidative deamination and transmination ?
OMG found you again after watching Urea cycle last week 🤝🤝🤝
Thanks! It’s amazing, how now anybody can study any profession for free in youtube.
Imagine poor kids from the slums learn to do all the plumbing and electricity stuff from recycled materials. And if they succeed to save some mamas&papas money with their skills, they will not have to cry for proper phones and gigabytes for further studies.
Thankyou sir🔥
Nice
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Taking step 1 in the spring at the end of M3 after a year of doing clinical rotations, so Im SUPER rusty on all of this. Having to revisit biochem/basic sciences would have been a lot more painful if it wasn’t for your videos. These are GOLD 🥲
omg am IMG and they make us take step one right after M2 i cant imagine how much stuff you have to re learn! how did you do ?
@@marcosbengochea2143 where are you from ?
Awesome video as always!!! I came up with the Mnemonic...."POP French Fries, Good Good" hope that helps someone. Keep studying!!!
your mnemonic "Good Good" too... ty haha
Really helpful..
Good
In your alcohol metabolism video you mentioned that the increased NADH/NAD+ ratio decreased gluconeogenesis, but I'm not seeing how that would be the case in this video; could you explain that a little more?
I believe it is required for the TCA cycle. More specifically for oxaloacetate synthesis.
Increased NADH , decreased conversion of malate to OAA
hi great video, just didnt understand somthing if amp means that you are on low energy - low energy mean - low glocuse, why its restricting it and not supporting it
For energy, you'll need pyruvate to enter Kreb's cycle and all... why would you go in reverse and make glucose?
thank you
Does the body convert glycerol into glucose and use that before it uses ketones?
Make video of glycogenesis and glycogenolysis
After the sales pitch I’ve immediately gone to Bard AI
Arigato 😊
dirty, that's not fair man...u could have come up with this when i was preparing for step-1
what do the comma mean? For example: Fructose-1,6-Biphosphatase - What does the comma b/w 1 & 6 mean?
That the phosphate is attached to the 1 and 6 carbons of fructose
🙏🙏🔥🔥
Gluconeogenesis is danger ?
glucose 6 phosphatase is there in gluconeogenesis,in the notes you are saying skeletal muscles dont go in gluconeogenesis due to absence of glucose 6 phosphatase,I dont understand
It’s because gluconeogenesis is happening in the liver and kidneys (not in skeletal muscle). Once the liver turns these precursors into glucose, it releases the glucose into the blood stream. From there glucose will be picked up by other tissues that need it (including skeletal muscles)
@@rajatsingh24k okay, thanks
“POP FF GG” sounds more like a typical game of league
Grabbing some fresh gouda out the fridge in honor of this video
its the best
if the glucose produced through gluconeogenesis will eventually go through glycolysis to form pyruvate then whats the purpose of gluconeogenesis ? we could use the pyruvate formed from alanine and lactate directly to produce acetyl coA
In the Cahill cycle pyruvate can’t move directly between liver and muscle cells so as a result it undergoes both gluconeogenesis and glycolysis to form glucose which can move between these cells.
@@anjalikalidindi6849 thanks it helped.
this just satisfied my very soul lmao
Why to call bisphosphate and not bi-phosphate?
Same question
yeee boiiiii, pop that fresh gouda
POP FRUITY FRESH GREAT GUAVAS!!😂
Mnemonic, Pop fruits to make Glucose
Thanks dirty
Pop Farm Fresh Goat Gouda!

Sexy - I mean very well explained. Thank you sir!
got exams tomorrow thank you Sir!! 🥺🥺🥺
10:21 You always have insulin and glucagon in the blood stream at the same time. But maybe you meant something different.
