The BEST & WORST things about owning a TOUAREG V10 | Touareg 5.0 V10 TDi Owners Experience

The VW Touareg V10 is an underappreciated beast of an SUV, from the earlier days of performance 4x4's in the 2000's and often overshadowed by the likes of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. But with colossal amounts of diesel torque, perfectly balanced proportions between being spacious but not obnoxiously large, and of course sporting one of the most unique performance engines ever built, there is plenty to love about these on the used market.
But with quite a number of supposed horror stories and dodgy advice from people who have never actually owned one, its time for me (an actual former owner of a 2006 Touareg V10) to weigh in with the best and worst aspects of ownership from my experience and time with the car...

Enjoyed your review. Even though they are great great cars they go for silly money (30k+ pacific pesos😂) in Australia and they are generally shattered due to people having no idea how to maintain them. Ive had an 04 V8 and an 07 3,6 vr6 and maintained both myself.

I just bought a one owner r50, 440.000 km, only let him down once, failed alternator. Seen one with 680.000km aswell 😊
