E30 is simply legend 😍

I owned a CL500, it was a great car and I paid £1000. Drove it for a year and it failed its MOT to the tune of £3500 to fix, so I scrapped it. Not a bad years motoring really, I'd definitely have another it was a great car.

Just picked one up for $2200 only 55000 miles on it.I'm fixing it up right now

All good but i saw a couple of problems in here, first of all the stearing wheel of the car is placed where the woman is sitting inside a car and not where the men are sitting! Im further away from the believe that you might suggest that this is a car for women, but facts are facts, men sit on the left and drive, women sit on the right and contribute for balance. Then you are driving somehow on the wrong side of the road, which in my mind tells me that you don't know wtf you are talking about cuz you have no idea how to drive, cuz you are driving like crazy man on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD. Then the C55 can be supercharged or turbocharged which means it will unlock "Final Boss Status" on the streets, while the C32 is already juiced to the bones of all of those 6 cylinders.

I'm 1,85m with a fairly long torso. I was surprised that I fit in an E30 with a sunroof, but not in a sunroof equipped E28, E32 or Mercedes W124!

Mine was 1990 and I absolutely LOVED it. I bought it for 4000 pounds in 1994, sold it for about the same a few years later. So sad :(

Reverse camera?

Everyone falls to mention the poor rear legroom. This is 35 cm shorter than a Golf, but with less legroom. AND a slight too-upright rear seat backing.

Surprised you don't see more responses on your gentle, esoteric approach to reviewing cars. I own a 2013 X351 3.0 V6 diesel and run it for my small private tours in Ireland and it never fails to have the WOW factor for all my guests. Much more than my Mercedes Benz E350 V6. It also turns heads when shiny in its black livery, is a regular talking point with strangers on the street and gets marvellous attention from my car valeter!

When living in the States in 1961 rode in one of these but it was the "Lincoln Capri " in pale pink , the shape was the exactly the same . Superb car . For me , my all time favourite American car was the 1958 Chevvy Impala convertible. 🇬🇧

Our 2006 XJ8 has been totally trouble free for the last 16 yrs of my ownership. That said, it does very low annual mileage, but it's beautiful to drive and certainly draws attention here in Alberta, Canada.

It's also interesting how you look cramped in this but not the c55, my mate is about your size and also gets cramped in my car too.

I'm 6'8 and 100kgs and like you, I love to rotate through a never ending bucket list of cars, and have just replaced a Porsche 996.1 3.4 manual. I recently bought a 4.2 XKR Convertible in Frost Blue, and your videos were very helpful, especially when I learned you were 6'3! Witht he seat all the way back and down, I am perfectly comfortable and it feels like 420bhp is plenty. I managed to get a beautiful low mile car, and if I had gone 5.0 it wouldn't have been in the same condition. Early days but very happy and loooking forward to summer!

My Uncle drove the same model, but in black. As a kid, I would pretend he was my chauffeur, and to his credit, he actually played along once, and dropped me off at school wearing a chauffeur's cap. so My classmates were green with envy.

Hi from Perth western Australia. I have had quite a few M cars in my life other and the e46 and e60 M5 which I would love but too nervous 😬. I just purchased my 4th e9x , can’t get away from them. Had 2 e92 one was supercharged , the other 2 e90. With at the min a the basic exhaust these cars are just exciting, full stop. Had a MTM supercharged Audi rs4 B7 ( can be seen on Ross Reviews) , it was amazing, and a Lexus ISF with FBO, also ( it can be seen reviewed on Ross Reviews , it’s the blue one.) currently also have a Ml63 AMG NA, tuned exhaust etc, animal! They are all amazing and all different. For me the M3 is the best for me overall followed by a modified ISF. My perfect garage. E90 M3 , ISF, Maserati QP F1 Box or coup or gran sport. Cheers.

I bought a 2005, mint condition, slk 55 AMG having previously owned boxsters and 911s. I don’t normally keep my fun car for more than 18 months. I will never sell this one. Just soooo much fun. Ridiculous mid engine power in the smallest car I’ve ever owned.

Nice comparison. I am in the market for a newer/used car and I am looking at the Panamera and the Maserati, but the Ghibli, not Quattroporte. I must be in the minority, I think the Panamera looks good...an elongated 911. The Maserati is beautiful as well...the lines of the car are definitely Italian, where the Panamera is German brute...look at me, in your face beauty. The Maserati does scare me though...have heard story after story about build quality and the touch items breaking, window switches, light switches, etc. I have owned several Porsches and they are always reliable and if you know how to do basic maintenance, not horribly expensive to repair. Again thanks for the comparisons

Love it. I had the previous gen - manual, in kermit green back in the day😂 I loved that little thing with the wheels right on the corners... It was my first taste of something light and a little sporty. It could pull..with just me in it.

I got a 2003XK8 convertible we’re just over 75,000 miles I did replace the upper shock bushings in the front not that difficult but was time-consuming. I love the car it’s fun it does not ride the best but it is very comfortable. It is a grand tour or a hint of sports.
