When I began, it was slow going because I’m 88 and don’t want to hurt myself. But slowly i worked up to doing the movements at half speed. And now I’m on my way to go full steam ahead. I’m feeling terrific. Better than I’ve felt in a long time. Thanks!!!!
Newbie! Attempting to do this workout as a measure to see my strength. 4May- was able to do till minute 13 6May- was able to do till minute 15:39 16May- till minute 20:30 22May- till minute 22:47 11Jun- completed with much longer breaks
One month ago I couldn't even make it to the second set. Today I got through the whole workout with just a four additional 10 seconds rests. Loving the progress! ❤️
i’ve been super tired lately but i managed to do the first two parts of this workout and i got so tired that i decided to listen to my body and call it a day. I wish i could have finished the whole workout but i am proud of myself for finishing 2/3 of it! i am setting a goal for myself to be able to do this whole workout later this week but today just wasn’t the day! good vibes to everyone reading this and listen to your body!❤️
I finished this, but took a million breaks making almost an hr workout! Lol. I’m proud of myself though I pushed through without giving up entirely ☺️ it was def intense and got my heart rate going. I loved it and will continue to do this and finish without taking any breaks! Thank you so much for this awesome HIIT workout that’s knee friendly and without jumping. I’m so drenched but loving it!.
This workout impressed me because there are a lot of people like me out there who are handicapped and can’t do conventional workouts that put stress on the joints and other parts of the body like our backs, feet, etc. Thank you Heather for putting out an alternative for those of us who still have a need to stay fit but can no longer take the intensity. 👍🏻
Just started this as have been HIT cardio training for a year and now have a shoulder injury. I love this workout as it’s still challenging (squats are the devil ha ha) but I can do all exercises with my injury. I’ve looked at the legs one too so will be alternating that one with this and plan to do every day. Your timer and exchange to exercises is excellent - thank you
I really like her low impact/quiet HIIT type options. If you want a 500 cal burn I found something that is working for me in quarantine. Do her 18 min arm video, then do this video, then do her 15 min Flat Abs, then do her Hiit w/ dumbbells! It is about a 90 min workout but I can hit between 500-530 each time and it is fairly quiet . This works for me because I find myself doing my workouts at like 11pm right now since my schedule is all off.
I hurt my knee and I am avoiding workouts with lunges & squats (substituting where needed). I wore a 12-lb. weighted vest and 1-lb. wrist weights, and the sweat I worked up was GLORIOUS. Adding this to my list of favorites!
UPDATE from 2 weeks ago... so far I've done this workout 4 times, and I'm shocked to say, that when it ended this fourth time, I wasn't dying the way I was the first or second time!! I didn't think I would see such results/improvement from my first to my fourth time doing this, but DAMN!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! and thank you @Rose from last week, with those encouraging words!!! I don't know how to tag her, so I'll copy and paste this update below her previous comment. Sorry to comment so much, I just wanted you and others to know how amazing this has been!!!
Been doing this workout several times a week for a month by now. I love the “silent” workout and the repeats for each exercise. There is enough variation but also allows me to come back the second time around to do the same exercise better. Thanks, Heather!
Game changer! Have been struggling with hip joint/si joint/achilles issues and this minimized all that strain that I feel even in a walk around the neighborhood and let me actually workout! It's been so long since I've felt so good! Listened to my body and broke it into two workouts and paid attention to my posture, but was able to DO something!! Thank you so much!
Oh my goodness, this workout was hard, especially when it's 86 degrees outside in S. Florida. But, I LOVED it 💕. I've been doing a variety of Heather's workouts since this pandemic started this past March, and they've been extremely effective. My body is leaning out and I'm getting stronger 💪🏼😁. Plus, her music is 100% on point!
I had to modify a lot of the moves due to my size but I was pushing myself to try the correct form even if it meant taking little 3 second breathers. Great workout. Will use it often and can’t wait to see my progress!
Me too. I broke my shoulder a couple years back so I can’t do the plank so I modified it so I was doing it standing. Even with the modification I’m drenched lol
I've incorporated heather's workouts into my daily routine for a few months and I really appreciate her pace. At first I wondered if I would like just listening to the music without commentary and most of the time, i do! Hearing someone to tell me to "go! go! go!" and "give it your all!" over and over gets exhausting. These workouts allow me to listen to my body and push when I've got gas in the tank and take it back when I don't, without feeling any pressure. I also appreciate all the low impact workouts! I want the high intensity without the impact jarring my body and Heather delivers great workouts! The music is always good too, nice beats without being ramped up.
So here's the thing, I did this workout 3 months ago and I could barely get through 3 minutes of this without any additional rest. I stumbled upon Pamela's exercise and I figured I'd give it a try. I tried her beginner ones until I found out that she had 30-minute program and been doing it for over a month now. Today, I did this workout again and I am freaking out for being able to do this all the way without additional pauses!! I really appreciate this during my "lazy" days and thank you for this. :)
I love the fact that she has different types of workouts cater to all types of people this is really amazing! God bless your soul ! This is incredible.
Perfect for this morning when I was just too tired to give a lot to my workout. I love the lack of chatter during Heather's workouts. I do worry about people who need the form cues, though, especially on her lifting routines.
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, for those that are beginners or do not have experience with proper form my channel may not be the best place to start! I would recommend Pop Sugar or Fitness Blender for those that need more verbal cues! :)
I had no energy today and this was BRUTAL even with low impmact! Had to keep stopping the video but I made it through. Great workout and I feel so refreshed now. 02.19.21
More of those silent workouts, please!!! I started Uni and I work, too so I have to workout early in the morning when my neighbours are still sleeping so jumping is not allowed. Thanks in advance, love your work!
I can't thank you enough for these low impact workouts. I'm a long time exerciser but at 60 my joints appreciate low impact but still high intensity. Thank you Heather!
Hi! My mother and I follow your video every day to keep trained! Thanks for keeping us company in such a terrible moment for the world in general but mainly for our country ( Italy, we live in Bergamo, one of the cities with most covid19 cases and mortality rate) and we have so much fun too while exercising!! Your videos are a way to escape this nightmare! You are amanzing! Have a fantastic day!!
OMG. My sons school is giving him these assignments as workout regimen! I’m in love with it... we workout together and is so much fun for us to do all together!!! Loving it!!!!
Usually I DON'T like "low impact" workouts, but since I didn't wait long enough after my meal to workout, I had to "settle" for low impact. I LOOOVEEEED THIS WORKOUT!!! It is sooo easy to transform as well. I incorporated light weights in some moves and little jumps in others. It is a GREAT workout for everyone!! Thank you so much! 🙏 ☺️
Thank for creating this excersice. When i stumbled at thi excercise i just couldn't resist. I am really out if breath and blown away. I skipped the planks though because am also repairing my abs seperstion. 👍👍👍👍👍
What perfect timing! I've had a huge headache all day, was low on energy and was totally gonna skip working out today, until I saw the notification for this low impact workout. It's just what I needed. I'm dripping so much sweat right now as if I did a High-Intensity workout and I'm feeling a lot better energy-wise. Thanks again, Heather. You rock!
I really needed a challenging low impact workout after the birth of my baby and this ticked the box. I come back to it every now and then when I don’t feel like jumping. Thank you. I love your workouts.
Absolutely EXACTLY what I wanted, quiet instructor that knows her students just need the prompt and workout design AND great and on rhythm music THANK YOU
I have been avoiding this routine since I thought it would be "too easy".. How wrong I was! I was sweating already in the middle and by the end I was dripping sweat! Thanks Heather for yet another effective and challenging exercise video! 💟
Done this workout three times now. First time it killed me at 23-24 minutes.. couldn't walk for 2 days. I was determined to finish it. Came back and now have done it 2 more times, completing it both times. This is a challenging workout. I've never been big on squats & lunges. This does a great job of getting me to do those while having some fun. Thanks Heather.
Love it! I’m just coming back from a meniscus tear and was able to do this without any irritation to my knee. It was also challenging, which is awesome bc it’s hard to find that in low impact at-home workouts. Thank you!! 💜🙏🏻
This has become one of my favorite at-home workouts, at a time when getting to a gym (and now outside - Fall/winter) is more challenging! I love that it is low impact, yet I get my heart rate up and get all sweaty! Best workout in 2020 for me!
I've been looking for a low/no impact workout as I'm post knee surgery and THIS WORKOUT IS AMAZING!!! Got me sweating and heart rate up and so comfortable on my surgery side! THANK YOU!!!!
This was a WONDERFUL SWEAT!! My stress needed this today! I'm way more at ease now. And I did this with my kiddos in the room. My little guy found it amusing to crawl around me 😄
Did this for the first time--man, I was winded about 5 minutes in! I like how she alternates between upright and downward positions to give your body a chance to recover between exercises. I managed to finish the workout with the only move I couldn't fully do was the pushup/side plank. Pushups? Just no. Also--a tip--mute the music and play your own. I did Fela Kuti and the pacing was great, plus his songs last forever!
I really like that you have music playing while you do the work out I find it motivating. I also really appreciate that you look ready to work out, not like some glam work out videos I see online.
I just have to say "THANK YOU" and isn't enough. BEST workout format and instructor with an assertive peace enough to motivate me without me getting rattled.
I'm going to add ankle weights and hand weights when hands are free on some of the excersices allows. I like to push myself and jumping makes me feel like I'm doing that but jumping is not always good for my age of 53😊 After a week of strenuously working my job this is perfect! TY !¡!¡!
I did this as a warm up before Lean & Toned. This really got my heart rate up and warmed up my body (sweaty sweaty). Highest HR 158 Active Cal 210. Another. great low impact. Definitely DO NOT BE FOOLED by "low impact". It's a great work out!
Great workout- I close my office door, change into gym clothes and half hour later, cannot catch my breath- thank you for designing such a “low impact” workout ❤️❤️❤️
this is a great workout for people like me who have to modify exercises due to an injury.... even with modifications, this workout had me all sweaty. thank you, heather!
I am a huge fan of intense workouts 😋 with lot of jumping🔥, but I am going to try new things. This is a good workout for Thursdays (Recovery day and still feel the burn)
When I began, it was slow going because I’m 88 and don’t want to hurt myself. But slowly i worked up to doing the movements at half speed. And now I’m on my way to go full steam ahead. I’m feeling terrific. Better than I’ve felt in a long time. Thanks!!!!
That’s so awesome! You just encouraged me to give this a try

I liked that there was no jumping and no stupid talk by you, like "way to go!" - just clear movements and timer. I have bad knees so this is great.
One month ago I couldn't even make it to the second set. Today I got through the whole workout with just a four additional 10 seconds rests. Loving the progress! ❤️

Low impact doesn’t mean easy! Low impact and yet intense - such a great workout! Heather, you did it again!
RIGHT!! I didn't expect it to be so intense...but I appreciate it so much! I came back for more lol

Gigi A yes!! With arthritis and fibromyalgia I GET IT. Super important to have low impact
Im with yall sisters!
I felt like the lunges and the high plank positions were hurting my knees and wrists though :(
Specifically because i have weak and wobbly joints

I really like how she has a preview of the exercise in a small window. I'm dyslexic with body movement, and this helps me prepare. Thanks!
I'm the same way, I get so confused. I kept having to pause and practice really quick before the set started to make sure I knew wtf was going on lol.
