    I love my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It does not have the greatest camera like my son's Samsung Galaxy S10 but for me it is good enough. I watch TH-cam videos on it, do my phone calls, emails etc. It just works fine.

I have Samsung Galaxy Note 8, still using this device in the year 2022, perfect to use the internet ,web and no other problem with this device. I got mine at launch in 2017. I adored that phone and it's aged better in some ways than others. The screen is still gorgeous. The "chin" and "forehead" honestly don't bother me. If anything, my biggest problem with my Note 8 is Samsung's former policy of only 2 major Android updates, which kept held it back on Android 9. As some apps started to require Android 10, the Note 8 started to show its age more quickly than it should have, especially considering that the hardware was capable of Android 10.
    I went to an S21 Ultra but missed the S-Pen and am very happy with my S23 Ultra as a spiritual successor to my Note 8, which I still have for sentimental reasons.

      @@muhammadsumon4064 Depends how you use your phone really, The Note 8 would barely last a day with light use when new, it is now a 5 1/2 year old phone so you are looking at batteries that are at end of life. I would be very surprised if you found one that lasted longer than 4 to 5 hours of light to moderate use now

    • @EsotericArctos
      @EsotericArctos 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never had an issue with the camera deteriorating. Sure, it is not the same as a brand new phone, lens and sensor technologies have changed, but it is just as good as it was when it was new. Samsung have always chased megapixels over real quality though, so their cameras do suffer compared to some other phones and they don't age well. Not aging well doesn't mean they get worse over time. Just means the quality of newer devices easily out performs the older ones.
      Battery though. A 5 1/2 year old phone is going to suffer when the batteries, by design, reach EOL after about 3 years.

    Still rocking my note8 here, thinking of an s22ultra (mainly for 5g and better wifi), but don't like the idea of no sd slot and dont like the "hole punch". Like you said, the note8 just looks right, thin bezels but sensors and more a hidden in them not on display as a hole in the screen. If I do look into the upgrade, I may be going factory unlocked, since verizon doesnt appear to offer their customers the 1TB version (hey, no sd expansion)....

It now no longer works with Straight Talk; I can’t make calls or text. The SIM card works in other phones, and an actual Verizon SIM works great in my Note 8. The OEM has a chance to completely break down/become unresponsive to being charged if your battery drops to 0%, and there is a chance it will just over-drain it'self if you try to turn it back on when it auto-shuts off.
    Get a note 9 and call it a day.

    Lol at people think that this phone it's 87 old like really it the best phone I have owned not much difference from phones of now and I don't care because none of these phones can download and play GTA 5 etc and I don't care about cameras for almost a for a grand my win 3 probably pc can do a lot more. I didn't had any problems with the battery only thing it has screen burn witch they offered at ty time for free or a small price.lol monder day is only a software update the note 8 can't get any more updates it's all by design of the manufacturers

    The NOTE 8 is not *worth it* because it DOESN'T HAVE 5G!! I had to get rid of mine and a buy a 5G compatible phone. The *ONLY* Samsung phone for 5G service is the Note 10 and up!!

      DAMN!! People with the NOTE 8 will have to upgrade to a *NOTE 10* this year!! Their NOTE 8s will become USELESS with the new 5G service that will be implemented for *ALL* carriers this year!!
