I like the drink pouch with the resealable drinking port. You could totally clean that out and reuse it! Clean it. Dry it. Fill it with soup mix/bullion, add hot water later for a warm, salty tres later on a cold day!
You can also use it to keep water out of something I guess, after washing.
Wow, the brown and green digital camo on the white surface looks absolutely awesome.

Hey Gusto, glad you're back! I agree this is an interesting ration even if not very tasty. There is one more difference that makes this ration unique. It is not a set of items you can buy in stores, but they are specially developed by the army laboratories

Quite an interesting ration. I like the design of the drink pouch. I think i would enjoy those black rice bars the most, but i guess when it comes down to it out in the field you eat what you can. Thanks for sharing RC!

Shawker71 is the first person I've found who said he really likes the type 1 bars. I like seeing and hearing other people's thoughts on this ration. It would be a great ration for hiking trails or something where you wouldn't really want to stop to eat.

Thank you for the interesting ration I don’t think I want to try it myself but all countries may want to look at the drink container with the spout to drink from, sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ones. I’m sure if you’re on a long patrol you’d be grateful for a bar to eat while you keep moving and they did have enough food to keep them going for 24hrs. Also thanks for donating to a children’s hospital that’s incredibly kind and I’m sure very welcome. This may be out of line and if so I’m sorry but have you considered patreon. I couldn’t pay a lot but I wouldn’t need anything for it either except seeing the channel thrive. There’s a channel where I only give two dollars a month but there’s no real reward except that I get videos I want to see and I’m sure you could offer a reward for people who paid more. I know no one gets rich from such a small amount but if a few of your viewers donated it might help you buy more ration packs or give more to the hospital. It’s just an idea anyway I hope you have a good day.
I am not sure this is a ration that I would want to try. It looks a bit too sweet for my taste. I guess that is the point of the ration - quick energy. But as usual you deliver with an excellent review. Thanks Gusto!!

I really enjoyed that video, I’m not sure I’ve seen that one. I don’t watch all the MRE TH-camrs that would be impossible because I’m also into other hobbies so I have to try and stick with the ones that interest me the most. But this was an interesting MRE or whatever its technical name is. I’m sorry but I call most of them MRE’s. Anyway, like I said earlier you and your new videos are like night and day from the old videos. Keep up the great job👍

Awesome R.C. !!!!! Again, good to hear your voice, and see you once again, er, figuratively, not literally. You had me worried friend. Yes, I have not posted for A while either sir. I changed that last night. LOL. I have seen, Chinese rations, and, still own one to review. This type ration, type of packaging, I do not remember, possibly, never saw? Cool. Bars look different? Same as rest of items. I am not saying, I have not seen this ration, however, if I have, I do not remember it sir. Apple , drink, cider, ? Seems to fall between definitions ? Good review thank you. This Chinese ration seems like the US Food Packet Survival - General purpose, for warm weather.
I like to two drink pouches. Obviously re-usable
No hot drink / soup. No water purification tablets. No high-energy candy. No accessory pack (towelette, sugar, coffee, matches, flavor sachet, etc.)
Question. Can the Type 1 bars be reconstituted into a hot meal?
Question. Does Bar 2 have fiber? Otherwise constipation will be your field buddy.

It's not supposed to be tasty. If it's too palatable the Soldier will probably consume most of it in one sitting rather than over the course of the day.

Superchuyito 1195 long story...the skull is one of my most prized possessions. My grandfather used this skull to study in dental school. He was the most inspirational person in my life. I inherited the skull when he passed away and used it for study in medical school. My grandfather taught me the importance of continuing to learn about as much as possible in life. So, this channel exists in that spirit of continued learning and exploration. So, to me, the skull represents that spirit of exploration and has become the symbol of this channel.
