I am so delighted to find your channel. I am a woman "of mature years" (over 60) and cannot demand of my body what I once could which is frustrating. So many pilates, yoga, weights TH-cam workouts are done by young gals and, while lovely, I don't think they can realistically understand working out with an older body. Even if they do offer "workouts for seniors" sometimes it comes across as condescending. Its nice to find someone over 30 who presents a nice workout, is so pleasant as you are and offers a nice array of workouts. Someone I enjoy working out with and would love to have tea with. Thanks!
What a lovely comment 🤗 Thank you so much Stephanie, I am delighted you enjoyed the session and working out with me. I look forward to seeing you again and having that tea cup of ☕️ 🫖 There are lots of sessions on the channel so do come and see me again soon xx ❤️
Great challenge for me ❤ but I’m so glad I managed to do it 😃 ! I feel myself slowly improving over time and that’s what I’m looking for, thank you so much Rachel !
This is one of the best weight training (I used 5 lbs & 8 lbs) which also helps me to stretch and breathe nicely. More like this please 🥰 & thanks a million 👍
Thank you for this, Rachel. I have had a worsening of back pain in recent months and stopped exercising. I've been discouraged. This brief workout was challenging, but manageable and I now feel that I can start again.
I’ve missed so many months of your videos due to lower back pain & issues but am under pain management now & this is my first video back with you. Modification and no weights felt wonderful to start moving again. Many thanks for your incredible range of difficulty to easy videos Rachel. I was in your intermediate level at age 83 but thrilled to start back with less strenuous videos. You’re such an inspiration 🥰
Loved this. Had to just use one weight in my left hand as I struggled with the weight in my right hand due to a rotator cuff injury. However without the weight it helped me to move the shoulder which I have been advised to do. Also loved that your dog was happily sleeping. My yellow lab Hector wanted to join in!
Thankyou Rachel. I just found this list... will look to starting tomorrow ... i see I have already done two of them as they are in my regular play list .. but look forward to trying them all. ❤
I started your 7day senior challenge with this one today absolutley loved it! I must say I really enjoy working with the weights. Thankyou again dear Rachel and team. 😊❤
I absolutely love your videos! They've been super helpful with several challenges/barriers I encounter when exercising. There's one thing I hardly ever seem to see addressed, however, and it's a problem for so many people: what's safe and effective if you have a hiatal hernia of any size? How can you adapt exercises for this? My medical providers, even PT people, just tell me "avoid pressure on the abdomen" and "don't invert yourself" but what does that leave for safe core strength work? Especially if you can't get down on the floor or work against a wall? Would love to see a video or two on this topic with your wonderful and easy to follow teaching style. Thank you!
