Love this delightful gentle yet effective stretch session-didn’t sleep well last night, which always aggravates my balance issues. I subbed this for the stretch routine on Day 24 of our January challenge, that one is standing and balance-intensive. I knew this would be safer for me, but still give me a delightful stretch. I love your senior gentle sessions, especially on “bad days” - I can still exercise safely! Thanks for all you do, and your amazing backlist, so much to choose from. Great news, too, at my checkup yesterday, I learned I’ve lost 5 pounds in the last year - thanks to almost-daily Pilates with Rachel, and partial fasting (simply no food after 8:30 pm or so), which you’ve also discussed. Weight loss wasn’t a real concern, but nice to maintain healthy weight at 58!😊❤

Mobility is one thing you take for granted until you start to lose it that is. Being mobile affects every aspect of daily living and has changed my outlook from feeling like i was in decline to feeling like I can do anything as I used to be able to. Trying to conserve as long as possible! These exercises bring me back to Graham technique which is fabulous. The breath and the slow movement is really helping with the stiffness. I’ve been “away” from Pilates for a few months. No real reason why…but I did this routine and it provided excellent stretch. A perfect routine to reintroduce me to Pilates.

This was a great stretching and strengthening routine. I have gotten sloppy with some moves due to other (younger) instructors being too fast. This workout reminded me to breathe and feel the core.
After the Ballet/Pilates workout the other day you told us about Yoga vs. Pilates mats. Today I put an older, thicker foam mat I had under my yoga mat. It was much more comfortable. Today you said we could use a small cushion under our heads. I tried that. I didn’t have neck pain like I had been having. Thank you for these suggestions to make my workout even more enjoyable. Hugs

Great, as always! I'm doing these 5/6 times a week and am interspersing one with ball & one with band to build more strength. Am feeling a big difference already, after only 2 weeks. I'm hoping to have massively improved my strength and core by the time I get my knee ops (next year, hopefully)

WOW the push and pull along with the hip twist are great additions to the workout. I love mat work. ( 74 yrs old and loving it)
