    Another year older, and my athletic body has naturally slowed down, and when I would try to do my usual routine, I would injure my back, and my worn knees. My chiropractor told me to try pilates using mat only. So, I searched You Tube and found The Girl with the Pilate Mat! Yay, Rachel is a really good instructor, and the instructions have really helped me so that i can do my regular daily activities because the tightness in hips, lower back and knees are gently stretched out! Thanks Rachel! ♦

    Thank you so much. I am 44 and I have Ankylosing Sponylosis. I do "look" fit but I am not! I am also very iron deficient, which I am currently working on. This was rather strenuous for me. However I plan to do this every day until I am strong and then I will venture out on your other videos. I have a very hard time lying on the floor and part of that will be to gain strength and muscle along my spine. Just very thankful to have found this as I recover from thyroid cancer and try to heal the Crohn's disease. ❤

    i love your videos. been active all throughout the pandemic doing cardio and weights. but this year, turned 56 and something happened to my body, pain everywhere, every joint and i injured my rotator cuff. thought i woudn't be able to exercise again but i found you. thank you!

    Hi Rachel, loving the video. Have done it twice now. I do have a question: is it normal for my lower back to feel sore/painful the day after? I'm not sure if this is a workout where I get muscle soreness after or if this is more stretching. Thank you ❤

    20:12 I love this Core Workout but when I get to this one my Right Knee starts to hurt so I stop. And also I wonder Why that whenever I do Yoga or Stretches I keep on Yawning... perhaps bc I am Breathing a lot.. I listen to your Directions of the Breathing, ty. I love how your are so Calm when you Speak, it so Relaxing.

    This was amazing and helped with my back / hip pain .. I had just been googling chiropractors near me ! Thank you for sharing this . I am finding pilates helping more with hips than yoga I did ?

      The pilates will both stretch and strengthen your hips, we focus on mobility and control in movement which is why it is so helpful for hip and back pain. The more you strengthen all the core muscles, the better the pian relief I have found. Keep up the great work xx 🤗

      Wel done Lynn, of course you must listen to your body but the clam is good for releasing tension in the hips which can add to back pain x

    Oh how I wish I could do these exercises. But I cannot as I ve had both knees operated. Total knees removed.... 😭😭😭😭
