Yes cant be cigarettes. Could very well be weed. The reason going to the top floor would have been to consume a prohibited product while enjoying the Colombo skyline. I dont think its suicide. What they consumed would have caused it. When parents have so much of money children go astray. Prior to 2000 most of the children didnt have phones and parents hardly gave excess money to their children when coming to school. Most gave only to cover the bus fare and buying food from the canteen occasionally. How times have changed.

Does anyone care about the privacy and the feelings of the families of those two children. Where are the media ethics? In the countries where standards of media ethics is practiced, they report the incident and then stop further reporting and speculation since it is disrespectful for the deceased and families. They deserve privacy.

There were threats from a group of boys in the same grade against the deceased boy for months. School knew about all this and didn’t do anything, this is confirmed by multiple people in the grade. The boy’s parents complained to school and then the CIS principal Sarah Phillips called for a meeting between the boys but the matter went unresolved and school didn’t take it seriously.
After the incident happened, the CIS principal claimed everything was fine and there were no issues at school .
The kids wanted to wear white to honor the deceased at the school fashion show the next day. School told them not to and not to mention anything about the incident. CIS is covering up and refuse to take any liability since they don’t wanna lose business.
