The camera angle that you have here for showing the side to side movement works really well, but going forward I think it would really help to have a side camera angle on the desks to see the front to back wobble, just like turning the desks through 90 degrees I think would really help the clarity of the video when doing these comparisons.

Is it just me or the V2 commercial bend downward if you lean on the front edge?

Solution - Mount a wall track that that the desk can anchor to and roll up and down the wall. Not sure why no one sells such a thing. Either that or just mount your monitors to the wall instead of the desk so they dont jiggle, but then you need to mess with their height constantly.

I might get one- probably the commercial one.
To fix any shaking, I might make a simple latch system. I will latch two of them on either side of the monitor (both sides.) My thought is that they will attached from the desktop, directly to a cleat on the wall- like the latch on a tool box. It tightens slightly when in the closed position to snug everything up. This should "very greatly" reduce any front to back and even side to side motion. One would help with front to back rocking, but two will help more and also with the side to side movement too. I can probably buy the materials at Home Depot for about $15. Easy fix. Since I am in a corner, I could also secure the leg(s) to the wall if I wanted to. The commercial has stationary lower legs which make it more stable.

Do you think the better front to back stability of the V2 commercial is due to the regular stage legs (not inverted like the V2 which has the smallest stage at the bottom) and the commercial having a bigger surface area where it connects to the feet? The overall frame of the V2 commercial looks more heavy duty and thicker as well (both the legs and feet). I agree that front to back stability is the most important but really dislike the crossbar on the commercial version, especially if I need to mount my PC under the desk I think it might get in the way. Does the crossbar really help at all? I wonder how the V2 Commercial without the crossbar compares to the regular V2? They should have included the stability braces on the V2 commercial making the crossbar even more optional!! Having said that, it is surprising the stability braces on the regular V2 help as the movement seems to be coming from where the legs meet the base but maybe it is a little bit of both. I think Deskhaus has the best 4 leg models but they are a bit out of my price range right now. May look to upgrade one day to the Vertex extended range.

I have the commercial and at first, I thought it was going to get in the way, but now I use it to prop up my feet when I want my legs to be extended or if I am laying back and playing a game/watching videos.

I've worked on adjustable desks before, I honestly don't sit there shaking it back and forth to see how much it moves. I never noticed any shakiness while I was working. That said, all I was doing at the desk was either participating on a zoom call or typing. Not sure what I would be doing that would generate regular movement bac and forth.

Seems like all desks are terrible at max height. Must suck to be 7 feet tall.
