Greta Review! Super informative and covered all the items I considered when getting my uplift. I got my uplift just about a year ago now and love it. I’m tall so I didn’t get the commercial frame for fear of hitting my legs, and it has very little shake in case you ever wish to switch your base. Also the keypad is lockable, just hold “M” until it says LOC, and hold again to unlock. Had do this when I watched a friend’s toddler.
@@hintofglosss it's weird, i got a flexispot because it was the only budget option aside from Autonomous. So far, there has been no wobble at all whereas autonomous did. But Autonomous is a known brand. I did end up getting the flexispot that can hold the most weight. Anyways, uplift, jarvis, ergonofis a way better choice
Your logic on the stability of the T frame was reasonable but that is assuming you don't have many devices mounted to the desk frame from the back such as a dual ultrawide monitor setup and some floating speakers. In that case the C frame would probably me a wiser decision since there is significant weight in the back.
I enjoyed your review, it was informative and gave me a bit to think about with the pros/cons. I was considering the commercial bar but now thinking I wouldn't like hitting my legs. Also I'm going to take a second look at the Jarvis desk as I get a work discount with them. Just looking for the best deal along with quality :)
yeahh i only got the c frame because I *thought* it would add extra stabilization but their website says there's no difference. i was so trumatized from my last shaky desk. perk is you could put chairs on both sides of the desk if you wanted to. but if i could buy it again i would try the t frame
Would love an update on how you are liking it now that you have had it for a few months. How is the motor/movement holding up? Has anything gotten loose/wobbly? Is the desktop still in good shape?
@7:26 is that an iPad stand on the left side of the desk? If so, could you tell me what stand it is? Also, thank you for this review. I'm looking at getting either an uplift or a flexispot and this was informative.
Great video! For reference, what is your height (barefoot)? Does your legs hit the crossbar? - or maybe use it as a footrest? Since you stated you were more interested on the table stability and not really height, do you think the standard v2 frame without the crossbar would've worked better for you? Or, maybe just a C frame commercial perhaps to push that crossbar back a bit more? I'm having a hard time deciding between the two frame types.
5'8" and yes my shins hit the crossbar. Sometimes I use it as a footrest but I have to position myself away from the desk in a weird way to do that. I was so concerned with stability yes but if I could do it again I think I would get the C Frame Commercial with the bar in the back! would be much more comfortable if the footrest was in the back
@hintofglosss Hello! Thanks for the reply. I wonder if the C frame would even push the crossbar bar back enough. Looking at the specs and the drawings of the frame, it doesn't seem that big of a difference from T to C frame 🤷♂️. Thank you for the insight.
Great vid. Is the 60 inches just right or to small you think. I was going to buy one and use with x2 27inch mounted monitors and ideally have some space to work to the side such as take notes or throw a labtop up. You think the 60 x 30 can handle that?
You kinda can’t. I sometimes rest my feet on top of the bar but in that case you have to sit further away from the desk. You can have your feet on the ground and it won’t be in the way. I’ll also sit cross legged in the chair or try to stand more
8:48 this is EXACTLY what i wanted to know about the T frame. thank you.
so glad i could help!

OH! that's really good to know
Thank you for the review! I was planning on getting a 60x30 in black so this is very helpful.
enjoy!!! months later and im still a big fan of mine
very helpful review! thank you!
Appreciate your review. You did a good job. Was not an extended novel. Cheers!
Autonomous would've been the best cheapest option. Anything lower is like flexispot, fezibo, vivo
yeahhh.... trying to not get another flexispot

Thanks for the review, detailed and well organized
Good times. I got an uplift desk recently as well
nice! are you liking it so far?
I'm loving it. Have no complaints.@@hintofglosss

ik if i could redo it I would get the C frame also just to avoid the awkward bar in the middle

That's why I went w/ the C frame so that the commercial bar is further back compared to the T frame.

@@hintofglosss I got the t frame, 30x70 and love it!

I really want to do an update video but for now YES it has held up wonderfully
7:36 beautiful layout ...

Hi, Cass, Have a great day !!! 👋
👋
I like making my own decision, but these desks have so many options I almost wish it was a walk in store with consultants.
right they're so pricey wish i could try it before i buy it

yes I have enough space to do stuff to the side & pull my laptop out! especially if you mount the 2 monitors or put them in a line along the back
Good vid
How do you stretch out your legs under the desk with that metal bar in the middle?
You kinda can’t. I sometimes rest my feet on top of the bar but in that case you have to sit further away from the desk. You can have your feet on the ground and it won’t be in the way. I’ll also sit cross legged in the chair or try to stand more
You could rig up a hammock for that puppy dog!
that would be super cute 💗
there are no plosives, are you editing them out, using a special lip technique, or does your mic just have a built-in pop filter?
it has a windscreen on it even though there's no wind lol, so not sure. the rode wireless go II mics are nice though!
