    I love all your reviews on these standing desks. I'd love to see you get your hands on the 4-legged versions of the Uplift desks. I feel like that would really help with the forward & back wobble.

      Uplift's four-leg standing desk is absolutely rock solid at 42.5 inches with approximately pounds of weight. But the four-leg standing desks are not compatible with any of Uplift's accessories (drawers, etc.) for their two- or three-leg desks. And a four-leg desk costs roughly 80% more than a comparable two-leg desk.

      @@adamtomczik9328 yeah, I ended up buying a 4-legged Uplift desk a couple months ago. Real disappointed by the accessory compatibility. I had bought the power strip that was supposed to to screw into the frame, but with the 4-leg frame I had to screw it into the bottom of the desk itself. I also got a under-desk PC mount, and the slide-out tray was supposed to to have a little drawer at the top, but the bar of the front legs goes through it, so I lost out on that drawer. Not the end of the world, but still annoying. I think the thing I’m struggling the most with is cable management… I’m using one of Uplift’s plastic management tunnels, but it kind of sucks. I’d like a ribbed one that spanned the entire desk, but there’s not much room to work with due to the cross bar connecting the back legs.

    It would be great if you could setup the desk with a couple monitors on monitor arms and a computer with a keyboard and mouse. Then do some real world tests where you just lean on it and/or type on the desk to simulate how the desk performs in a real life situation. It is interesting to see what happens when you push on the desk and try to wobble it, but I feel like folks trying to make buying decisions are most interested in how much rocking you will get using the desk in a realistic way.

    FUN test for you guys: take a deep tabletop like 90cm. add the big screen and speakers at the rear for weight. Extend to max standing height. Then test SWAY. BUUUUT. Change the location of the legs. Some would say o the rear because thats the weight, but then your making a fulcrum and archemedes said you can move the earth. Some say the middle so a T, but, I have. a sneeeaaaaaaaky suspicion that legs at the front is best. If the table top is reinforced, can hold the static weight, and you touching and leaning which is dynamic weight, is at the short end, that mitigates your movement as you are at the fulcrum. the pivot point. Would this not be a fun non intuitive test?????? (No I am not crazy, my mother had me tested.)

    Hello BTOD. fantastic review. I was considering getting v2 standing. Is the model you tested C type frame or T type frame. Do you see any stability difference between C Type and T type ?

    Did you do a side x side comparison of the V2 Commercial vs the V2?

    I have a SUPER heavy 49" monitor and a massive custom pc along with decently heavy studio reference monitors that i plan to put on my desk. Trying to decide whether to get the commercial frame or not for a walnut 80x30 v2. Uplift claims the regular v2 is just as stable as the commercial. I just dont see how thats possible without the crossbar. You mentioned the commercial is more stable in this video. Is the difference substantial? Not sure if i want to give up possible leg space if the difference isnt that much. Love your videos! Super helpful. Thanks!

      Exactly same position. Trying to decide between the two for a 80 x 30 desk

    Thank you. it was super helpful. But can you tell me how high is him? 22 inch looks nothing compared to his height. It's a little bit misleading for my eye

    Hi BTOD! Would the L shape version of the uplift v2 commercial increase the stability? Are L shape desks more stable in general?

    • @btodtv
      @btodtv  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, so long as there is a foot attached to the third column and one of the three feet are positioned opposite in direction of the other two -GK

      @@btodtv thank you for the reply! Would the v2 commercial still be the move vs the regular V2? Or would the increased stability from the crossbar be negligible? Would love to see some L-shaped reviews / tests in the future 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
      Loving my BTOD leap v2 btw 😊

    i'm looking at a 72" V2 to use at height of about 42-45 when standing. desk load will be under 100 lbs. how wide was this test desk? trying to decide if i need the v2 commercial or standard v2 for home office. thanks
