My favorite portrayal of their “relationship” is where the Joker actually doesn’t want to kill Batman, but actually wants to push Batman to the point where he’ll break his code and kill him. This is my favorite because it’s just so interesting to think about how the Joker considers being murdered by Batman is winning.

This is actually the very reason why i enjoyed the hulk joker fight at the end of arkham asylum. People always say that Joker wouldnt do it, but i personally think that Joker was banking on Batman giving up the antidote instead of using it on himself. This is even further played on at the end of arkham city's "I would have given you the antidote." and also likely why jokers death weighed so heavily on batman. Because it all stimmed back to the one singular moment where he didnt give joker the antidote in asylum.
I remember a comic where Joker tells Batman that he never wants either of them to win (aka die/give up) because then the game is over. In most Batman/Joker versions, the Joker thrives off Batman. Without Batman, he feels he is nothing. Even in The Dark Knight movie, Ledger’s Joker tells Batman, “Kill you? I don’t want to kill you! No, you complete me.” And in the animated series, Sid the Squid kills Batman by accident, which Batman uses to his advantage, and the Joker is both sad and pissed that Sid killed Batman and tries to kill Sid but Batman saves Sid. “it’s complicated” is a good description of their relationship for sure. I love their dynamic and how they are polar opposites. They are probably best hero/villain pair ever IMO

Actually, In the tie-in comics for DC Universe Online, it reveals that Joker did In fact believed he killed Batman. And as you'd expect it, he doesn't feel accomplished, he doesn't feel anything, he even laments to a dead Harley Quinn that the little life he'll have now thanks to Brainiac's invasion won't be near as fun without Batman and her.
There is another time where in tell tale Batman Batman was fighting bane and Batman was not going so well but then joker shows up and teams up with Batman to take down bane and beat the crap out of bane and it was an amazing scene and I really recommend watching it

The episode with Owlman and Joker teaming up with Bats is the reason why I was quite fond of Brave and the Bold. Sure, most of the episodes had no actual timeline, but they didn’t need to have one, it was just a bunch of different comic book adventures in animated form, not to mention it was actually quite a good show as well.

Calling their relationship "Co-dependent" is misleading, as Batman is never shown to need the Joker the way the Joker claims he does. At best, the Joker is just one more villain in the rogues gallery to Batman.
Sorry, but I personally think that's not true. Batman has shown that he is just as obsessed with Joker as he is himself and he has also saved his life or prioritized it over the well-being or saving of others.

I'm pretty sure The Joker sees his time with Batman as nothing but a game, one he doesn't want to ever end. It always seems that every time he "tries" to kill Batman, it almost seems like he knows Batman will get out of it, except for that Frank Miller comic, The Dark Knight Returns. As you said, he seems to know Batman better, and has an actually hilarious moment in Harley Quinn: The Animated Series, he has Batman right where he wants him, tied up and beaten with his mask off, what is the first thing Joker does? I think with the online add, I don’t think that joker wanted to kill Batman, I think he wanted to kill death stroke. Because in jokers messed up mind only he and Batman can survive, so that they would only fight, or only the joker can fighter Batman no one else
To the joker and his twisted mind the relationship they share is important, entertaining even. The idea that he can wake up in Arkham again to plan his next crazy scheme excites the joker, the fact that Batman will always be there to fight him delights the joker. He enjoys the battles much to Batman’s dismay and so on multiple occasions when other villains try to intervene and ruin the Batman he will step in purely because he wants the chaos to continue. Most of the destruction in the city is because of Batman so why would he stop Batman now? He would rather let the joke keep going, just long enough before he can deliver the final punchline.
So, one thing about the Batman and Joker dynamic that brings a bit of additional perspective is that the Joker, in the process of being the murderous crown prince of crime who deems himself the only person allowed to kill Batman and only when he decides to do so, is also kinda helping against the criminal underworld of Gotham in his own way. First off, he puts a big, twisted, smiling face on Gotham's criminal underworld, keeping it in the spotlight and incentivising people to want something done about it. Without public support for Gotham's various crime fighters, the various mafias and gangs would basically be able to go around unchallenged. Secondly, Joker and Batman basically play off of each other. Joker often gets involved with the other Batman rogues, and inadvertently (or possibly intentionally depending on which of his many "multiple choice" origins Joker is going by that day) acts as a beacon that draws Batman into direct conflict with them through his actions. And of course if one of the other rogues is about to kill Batman, Joker keeps them in check like an unintentional double agent.

Sorry, but I personally think that's not true. Batman has shown that he is just as obsessed with Joker as he is himself and he has also saved his life or prioritized it over the well-being or saving of others.

Beast Boy he had the worst death from the nuke, him Kid Flash and Superboy were all racing around when it went off, Kid Flash was instantly turned to ash and Superboy tried to shield Beast Boy from the blast, he survived the blast but was in such bad shape he died a minute later is a lot more agony than if Superboy didn't do anything

I'm pretty sure The Joker sees his time with Batman as nothing but a game, one he doesn't want to ever end. It always seems that every time he "tries" to kill Batman, it almost seems like he knows Batman will get out of it, except for that Frank Miller comic, The Dark Knight Returns.

I would say on the Jokers perspective it’s sort of a psychotic childish frenemy relationship. I think with the online add, I don’t think that joker wanted to kill Batman, I think he wanted to kill death stroke. Because in jokers messed up mind only he and Batman can survive, so that they would only fight, or only the joker can fighter Batman no one else
To the joker and his twisted mind the relationship they share is important, entertaining even. The idea that he can wake up in Arkham again to plan his next crazy scheme excites the joker, the fact that Batman will always be there to fight him delights the joker. He enjoys the battles much to Batman’s dismay and so on multiple occasions when other villains try to intervene and ruin the Batman he will step in purely because he wants the chaos to continue. Most of the destruction in the city is because of Batman so why would he stop Batman now? He would rather let the joke keep going, just long enough before he can deliver the final punchline.

So, one thing about the Batman and Joker dynamic that brings a bit of additional perspective is that the Joker, in the process of being the murderous crown prince of crime who deems himself the only person allowed to kill Batman and only when he decides to do so, is also kinda helping against the criminal underworld of Gotham in his own way. First off, he puts a big, twisted, smiling face on Gotham's criminal underworld, keeping it in the spotlight and incentivising people to want something done about it. Without public support for Gotham's various crime fighters, the various mafias and gangs would basically be able to go around unchallenged. Secondly, Joker and Batman basically play off of each other. Joker often gets involved with the other Batman rogues, and inadvertently (or possibly intentionally depending on which of his many "multiple choice" origins Joker is going by that day) acts as a beacon that draws Batman into direct conflict with them through his actions. And of course if one of the other rogues is about to kill Batman, Joker keeps them in check like an unintentional double agent.
The whole "I'll kill anyone who reveals Batman's identity and ruins him" Was also done by the Joker in "The Dark Knight"
