The White Knight story IS the best sane Joker story. By a huge margin in showed the depths and tragedy of the character in a way that just showing him snap out of things and realise what he's done for a bit before quickly relapsing does not. And as Jack Napier they even showed how he was desperate, to the point of possibly fatally poisoning himself without hesitation, to stay sane and be a decent man. Even though it was totally expected, it was truly tragic when he slides back into being the Joker at the end while he and Doctor Quinzel are rushing to get married while he is still a good man that truly loves her. For a moment I hoped that she'd get her happy ending and he'd be a good man, both for her and for the city he began to save... But then comics. And I know how it is.
i really hope that someday DC makes some sortof long-running series where the joker is actually sane, not just some 1-time comic where by some scientific miracle hes temporarily cured like this, not some alternate-earth one where he never went bad or the roles are reversed, just normal joker but sane.
So…a clone Joker who went sane and stayed sane? They couldn’t do that to the actual Joker, but maybe some kind of clone Joker made with the actual Joker’s memories or whatnot actually goes sane, and maybe stays that way? He could even use Jack Napier as a name to go by.
I feel like you could also mention The Joker from The Dark Knight film to some extent. There's nothing really drastically different about this Joker compared to his comic counterparts but everything about Joker is shown in completely different contexts. Unlike comic Joker the film version is more than capable of well thought out lines of logic and can act pretty normally. His entire MO in the movie is that he's a nihilistic anarchist who is trying to take down a system he sees as disgusting and corrupt. Everything he does in the movie is only helping him towards that goal. Think Guy Fawkes but with a much more Che Guevara level of heroism, or lack there of. All the other stuff that makes him joker like the clown facepaint only exists to help him hide his identity and to intimate people against him. Finally in the film when he actually meets the mafia for the first time and they accuse him of being insane he flat out tells them he isn't insane, It's just all apart of his plan. Yeah he’s just the normal joker we all know and love when he comes back in Harley Quinn You know Except now he has a girlfriend and two kids that he ACTUALLY cares about and lives in a suburban home with them
You know there is the arguement that he's not "insane" but he's "Super sane" and realizes that he is in a comic book character and what he represents being in those pages so he does whatever he can to fulfill his role for the viewer.Thats why he doesn't care about money or having power. He is just there to add much needed chaos and do whatever horrible thing needs to be done : "Hey joker throw that baby in an oven" Joker: Gotcha boss
I like to think that if Joker ever got a redemption that he would be normal but when a particularly dumb knock knock joke is told he freaks everyone out by his laugh
Some people theorized that he is super sane or he has the wall breaker ability when you can break the fourth wall and he knows that if he turns good that he will be forgotten
03:40 This is far from normal joker. The most chaotic joker i have ever seen. He tried to harass an entitled woman he met at school by becoming gotham major.

There's a theory he's actually super-sane. He knows he's fictional and that plays into his motivations, but because most people in the DC Universe aren't aware of the 4th wall they just think "well of course he's crazy, he thinks we're characters in a comic book!"
@@blehh_mae and he is also slightly more durable and can heal slight faster than the average person. It’s why Batman can beat him to a pulp so many times, and a few days later he is as good as new.
You left out the part where even though he's back to being the joker in Harley Quinn he Decides that he actually still loves his new wife and kids and figures why not have the best of both worlds.... Somehow the woman is fine with this and it's kinda humorously heartwarming
And runs for mayor, competes against Gordon and WINS, which may be due to him actually wanting to do this for his kids, and he also goes to save his son from Two-Face, who kidnapped him to make Joker drop out.
I don’t really like the Anime Batman movie but it was still good for me I still thought it was a fun watch It’s like the Jo Jo bizarre adventures animation from the intro
The sane Joker in Harley Quinn was probably the funniest. I loved his suburban dad character and how he reacted to what he becomes when Harley throws him back into the insanity acid again. Also, if you hadn't seen the show, he does become a "bit" more sane by actually ending up with the woman he dated while sane. Said he's still gonna be the Joker, but is actually holding a stable relationship and raising kids now.
It was a Batman/Spider-Man crossover in the 90s were a bunch of scientists were able to make joker sane but then Carnage went into his brain and made him insane again
In _The Killing Joke_ , he has a lucid moment at the end when Batman offers him a chance to turn it around, and for a moment he seems like an unhappy man with odd coloration. However, this is the one where he claims it's "far too late." Back in the Golden Age, the Joker was struck with amnesia and spent a while in an isolated town where nobody knew who he was. It didn't last, but it ended with Batman saying that this went to show there was good in everyone.
Well there was a theory put forth in Batman: RIP that Joker has some kind of super sanity with MPD. Going Sane is a great often overlooked comic, I think Harley Quinn the series kinda did this as a nod to both Going Sane and White Knight. Also in White Knight, Batman originally force fed Joker tons of various anti psychotics at the beginning. Either way, great video. The only ones I really knew are Going Sane and White Knight. Will definitely have to check out some of these other ones. As far as Harley Quinn's writing not being Shakespeare don't forget Shakespeare wrote many crude comedies at the time by borrowing ideas from other playwrights so maybe it is written a bit like Shakespeare ;) lol
Actually the joker is super-sane in a sense, the reason why he turned sane after supposedly killing batman he figured that since the hero is dead he is not in a comic because he thought why would the writers kill batman?, and when its revealed that batman is still alive he turned back to hes original state and returned to the belief that he is in a comic.
Funny thing is, that even after turning back into the regular Joker, the one from Harley Quinn animated show, still acts like suburban dad and a half decent one at that.

Video idea: every time Batman has laughed. A couple examples being at the end of killing joke and at the end of the episode “Mad Love” from Batman: TAS.
At the end of batman : killing joke movie, joker and batman has a decent conversation. For the first time joker talks and listens like a sane person without any mind changing interference from outside
What if he's so sane he seems insane to others ? There's a few times he's a talked directly to readers and referenced non Canon events, maybe he's so intelligent he figured out his reality isn't real and he's just fiction so he uses that knowledge knowing he'll never truly die and he won't lose his batman cayse the writers wouldn't get rid of them, he knows hes practically immortal so he acts like he has nothing to lose cause he doesn't, making him look insane
To an extent yes. In the way people both think they're insane in their actions. Where they differ is deadpool has consequences cayse he knows hes not iconic. He could easily be cancelled and never seen again so he needs to be aware that what he does will have consequences on how readers perceive him. The joker knows he's one of the most iconic characters of all time and no matter what he'll always be in stories and media so he can be more carefree, seeming more insane to others as a result
I like how every time Joker turns sane he becomes a genuinely great guy.

So the Joker became sane then few minutes later he went back to being insane.
Sounds like POST-NUT Clarity to me. Yep.
Been looking for this
Personally I think Batman white knight is the best one where joker become sane at least in my opinion.
Same and I think the second best is the one from the Harley Quinn animated series
@@dcmarvelcomicfans9458 agreed and you're right about that. ;)
@@dcmarvelcomicfans9458 indeed and i can agree with that
I mean technically I don't think he's insane I think he's on a higher level of sanity that he's so sane that everybody else perceives him as insane..
You’re actually correct. Pretty sure there’s a term for it in psychology but I don’t remember since I got a C in that class.
super sane
Yeah he’s just the normal joker we all know and love when he comes back in Harley Quinn
You know
Except now he has a girlfriend and two kids that he ACTUALLY cares about and lives in a suburban home with them
You know there is the arguement that he's not "insane" but he's "Super sane" and realizes that he is in a comic book character and what he represents being in those pages so he does whatever he can to fulfill his role for the viewer.Thats why he doesn't care about money or having power. He is just there to add much needed chaos and do whatever horrible thing needs to be done : "Hey joker throw that baby in an oven" Joker: Gotcha boss
...dang
I like to think that if Joker ever got a redemption that he would be normal but when a particularly dumb knock knock joke is told he freaks everyone out by his laugh
The one dislike is from the joker.
The one is from bane :D
The other one is batman but he also liked with a different account
its now gone
Some people theorized that he is super sane or he has the wall breaker ability when you can break the fourth wall and he knows that if he turns good that he will be forgotten
elaborate?
Happy to see you still well and making vids! Keep up the great work!
03:40
This is far from normal joker. The most chaotic joker i have ever seen. He tried to harass an entitled woman he met at school by becoming gotham major.
I love how even the most powerful psychics and god-like entities in the entire DC universe can only turn the Joker sane for a few moments, and even that little is a monumentally difficult task to them. He's just a normal human dude who went crazy lol, he doesn't even have super powers!
I think that joker went so fucking far down the rabbit hole that there is just no way to bring him back
There's a theory he's actually super-sane. He knows he's fictional and that plays into his motivations, but because most people in the DC Universe aren't aware of the 4th wall they just think "well of course he's crazy, he thinks we're characters in a comic book!"
he does have super powers,,, but just one: a really *really* good immune system/near-immunity to most drugs, toxins, gas, etc
Wut?
@@theextremeanimator4721 the cg animation remind him of the openings for the first 3 parts of jjba
5:08 I like how he just ignores it and acts like nothing's wrong...
"Why would the joker do that? It doesnt make sense" i think thats the point😂
Good to see you once again was hoping to see you back.
4:50 I'm guessing that means since the pit makes a sane person crazy it would do the reverse on someone already insane
At this point how could you not think that the joker is the greatest villain of all time?
He indeed is
It was a Batman/Spider-Man crossover in the 90s were a bunch of scientists were able to make joker sane but then Carnage went into his brain and made him insane again
Everyone: Trying to Make A Funny Comment
Me: Hmm What To Comment
Kal4 :D #JustMonika
Black Lives Matter I don't know
In _The Killing Joke_ , he has a lucid moment at the end when Batman offers him a chance to turn it around, and for a moment he seems like an unhappy man with odd coloration. However, this is the one where he claims it's "far too late."
Back in the Golden Age, the Joker was struck with amnesia and spent a while in an isolated town where nobody knew who he was. It didn't last, but it ended with Batman saying that this went to show there was good in everyone.
The white knight version is by far my favorite version of version of joker
Super sanity is the stupidest thing Ive heard.
Funny thing is, that even after turning back into the regular Joker, the one from Harley Quinn animated show, still acts like suburban dad and a half decent one at that.
the hbo harley quinn show is so fucking hilarious i wish it didnt get so much hate from people who take it too seriously
I'm gonna ask for it again,
TOP 5 MOST EPIC AND MEANINGFUL BATMAN VS JOKER FIGHTS
It is coming, I'm just trying to work out which 5 are truly the best, which fights would pick?
@@NeedleMouseProductions thanks!
I think you could exclude The Dark Knight movie, The Killing Joke and The Dark Knight Returns since those are way too obvious and famous, or just name them honorable mentions. But I'd include Batman Endgame too, I'm a comics newbie
@@camilonunez3919 If we can't use The Dark Knight, Killing Joke or Dark Knight Returns, I'd say both fights from Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (the flashback with Bruce where Joker is first killed, and the final fight with Terry), final fights in Arkham City and Arkham Knight, and the fight from Batman: Hush where Bats is fully intent on killing Joker.
It's adorable that superman named his son after Batman
their friendship is my fave i hate when people turn them against eachother
Their a comic book series where Dc characters and Marvel Characters get fused together so you should show us the coolest ones
There has been marvel vs dc comics
Amalgam?
skybite Undertale
Amalgam comics?
Almalgam. Joker and Sabretooth were merged into The Jackal. It was badass.
Thank you so much for uploading it is tuff times and hope u get through you're epilepsy
In "Harley Quinn", Joker may have turned back to his normal self, but he keeps dating the suburban mom.
True
He just has a reason to kill. Now its Harley's turn.
I want to see Batman Ninja now! Looks great!
5:17 Is Harley being, uh...
the joker being sane is insane
Video idea: every time Batman has laughed. A couple examples being at the end of killing joke and at the end of the episode “Mad Love” from Batman: TAS.
At the end of batman : killing joke movie, joker and batman has a decent conversation. For the first time joker talks and listens like a sane person without any mind changing interference from outside
5:14 please god tell me she’s just getting robed
I like how jokers dumber pans can be written off with “it’s the Joker, don’t worry about it“
Remember that storyline where it’s kind of an apocalypse it reminds me of the second or third impact from neon Genesis franchise
He tries to be sane in the Death in the Family movie, but he isn’t really sane. It’s worth a mention.
Love how u put effort to research everything keep it up 👍🏻 love your vids
Thanks, it really can be time consuming so its nice to know it's appreciated :)
NeedleMouse Productions of course
I agree. Also can u make a video about times when Joker has done something good?
You should do 10 times Batman stoped being Batman and hung up his cowl
U should do every time Spider-Man has killed and how many times the punisher has been killed and how much daredevil has killed
I like how this popped up after watching The Killing Joke🔥👌🏼👌🏼 considering the ending haha
3:10 Kinda ironic, that exact episode premiered in the UK right after the Rick and Morty episode.
4:16 The Lazarus Pit causes brief insanity when you are dunked into it, therefore the Joker was given brief sanity.
video idea: The strongest lantern from every lantern corps
PLZ notice this
Would be a great video
He is actually super sane isn't he?
What if he's so sane he seems insane to others ? There's a few times he's a talked directly to readers and referenced non Canon events, maybe he's so intelligent he figured out his reality isn't real and he's just fiction so he uses that knowledge knowing he'll never truly die and he won't lose his batman cayse the writers wouldn't get rid of them, he knows hes practically immortal so he acts like he has nothing to lose cause he doesn't, making him look insane
So like deadpool
To an extent yes. In the way people both think they're insane in their actions. Where they differ is deadpool has consequences cayse he knows hes not iconic. He could easily be cancelled and never seen again so he needs to be aware that what he does will have consequences on how readers perceive him. The joker knows he's one of the most iconic characters of all time and no matter what he'll always be in stories and media so he can be more carefree, seeming more insane to others as a result
HI! sorry for being late, my computer recently crashed, but anyways, now I'M BACK!
First few minutes: the white knight
Me: alright buddy where do I click
My favorite time the Joker turned sane is either from the Harley Quinn TV Show or Going Sane. It might be both or just the Going Sane comic storyline.
Was there not a time in Justice League Unlimited where he was sane in the alternate reality with the justice lords
Lobotomized doesn't mean sane.
You could also give him some of Dream’s normal pills.
Do you every time when the Robbins has become Batman
You should do a video of everytime Batman has been exposed to joker gas
I'm a little confused by the title since The Joker has always been sane.
SUPER sane
Ah yes, I too laugh repeatedly when I commit mass murder.
*Every time the Joker has done something good*
What lantern core should the tmnt and the tmnt character's should be in.
