Hello, and holy damn, thanks for all of your comments, didn't know so many people are into batjokes, finally I have someone to talk it out with 😂
And so I've tried to include the moments you felt were missing from my previous vids. Today's theme is batjokes pandering in various media XD And so I'm pandering a bit too, to my audience. But it's all in the name of good fun ❤
So I hope you'll like it! :D It's little something to fill the gap up. Love to know that a lot of you would like a batjokes in comics video, but that's gonna take me a lot of time, there's no way I'll make it this school year... So, I offer you the best I can atm :)
Next up I'm planning to put Arkham batjokes moments together and I think I'm oficially done with batjokes compilations... unless you guys will point out more moments that I've missed ;P

And I can't deny I'd love more stories with the other villains too, but that's not Joker's fault, that's the fault of modern DC writers. Which is a shame, I completely agree. But Joker is overused because he's Batman's arch enemy, that's just a fact you can't ignore, while Harley is... nothing. Genderbent version of him that got created in 90's. And there is a correct way to put modern villains into the lore - look at the Court of Owls for an example. Infiltrating her into everything like friggin Captain Marvel isn't one of them

Honestly, people (myself included) talk about how batman should kill the joker but honestly, it should be Harley. She has suffered more physical and mental abuse from that psychopath than anyone else in DC. She’s been with him since her introduction and stood by his side and has endured so much trauma and pain. Honestly, I’m not surprised that she BROKE UP with him. Honestly, she deserves respect and certainly more respect than you’re giving her. She should be the one to finally end Joker. It’s only fitting after all. Looks like, in the end, Harley Quinn gets the last laugh!

Lol I love that this is so anti-Harley because it's so obvious that people just took Bruce Timm's character and ruined her to the point where people don't even like her anymore. Harley exists, not to be a genderbent Joker, but to show that people can be influenced by another's madness. She was in love with the Joker (if you didn't know that, read Mad Love, that's her origin story) and decided to become one of his henchmen because of it. I love Harley's original character, not many of the new interpretations (and I agree, Harley x Batman is a no from me) but it's just sad to see that people hate her because she's been stripped away from her original story.

Like, I don't hate modern Harley, hate is too strong of a word to use on any fictional character really :D I just don't like what modern Harley stands for, because that's not just her, that happened to a lot of female characters in modern days, unfortunately. Honestly the harley quinn series on HBO is amazing. Her character and her relationship with ivy and batman is handled very well.
I find very intriguing what her starting point was, a person manipulated into insanity through mad love.But I always felt bad for her and I'm glad she was able to escape that toxic relationship, evolve and become her own character.She Is now some sort of anti hero who uses her insanity to navigate through life but with some sort of a moral compass, I like her. Plus, her and Batman being a thing in some alternative timelines is not something I despise. My two cents on the matter

Harley being told she's getting played is heartbreaking tbh I like how Bruce just tells her, quite harshly, in order to break her delusion. The small "circus, he said it was the circus." just hits me.
I always loved Batman & Jokers relationship, especially in 2004 'The Batman' since Bruce actually acts like someone in their late 20s and seemed like an actual person out of the suit. Telltale version of them was brilliantly done, I couldn't leave him high and dry when he makes the puppy faces!! 😂

The fun of this scene is that Harley was _genuinely_ about take Bats out, definitively, for good - & Bruce only saved himself by talking + getting under her skin.

I love the 2004 version of Joker because of his design. Ik lots of my friends criticized the look of him and how different he is compared to the og look but I like it. The insanely long sleeves has got to be my favorite, plus you mentioned the stoner look which I dig, and the over all weirdo homeless man but still a genius look 😂
I know right! What a perfect description 🤣 At first I myself was like, what wtf is this, but considering how weird every other villain looks in that show, he fits just right in. The long sleeves are inspired by a straitjacket and that's such a perfect design choice like ahhh

Now I really don’t think the Joker has ever been attracted to Batman since that would take away from his character a bit (he’s obsessed with the idea of breaking Batman) but it is fitting that some scenes look romantic out of context because the Joker needs Batman to make his life interesting. As he says, “without the Batman, crime has no punchline.”

Personally, I feel like they're co-dependent on each other or at least Joker is to Batman. Joker wants to be the one to kill Batman and will stop anyone trying to kill Batman that isn't him. And vise versa. Joker only wants to be killed by Batman
I think both is possible. Afterall, he's insane. So love couldn't be incompatible with trting to break the bat.

I forgot they’re trying to ship Harley and Batman. Which is weird given that the fans for the most part ship Harley and Ivy.
Though truthfully I think Harely best flourishes as a stand-alone when it comes to relationships. Sure a good hookup every once in awhile sounds fun. But I think self-growth, healing, and building close friendships is a way better path for her over the Batman x Harley considering it gives off that “oh I can fix him” kind of vibe which doesn’t work considering that Batman in the end ultimately has a whole slew of his own problems so it’s just..weird..
They should honestly just be good friends with sibling relationships vibe. And getting into chaotic but fun crime fighting stuff-
Honestly, I think Harley is that kind of girl that just needs to be in a relationship :D That's not a bad thing, some people are like that. It's Ivy who should be single if anything, it fits her character archetype much better, but what can you do.
And you're right, Harley naturally has the "I can fix him" attitude, which is why she would make a good pair with Batman. My problem is that this is not why she is shipped with Batman nowadays. It's because she's a mary sue and so she must have a fling with the main protagonist because that makes her cool, when, there's no place for Batman in modern Harley's life. There's no point, no good ideas, just pure aesthetics. And that's lame, especially because Harley is usually used to replace Joker in the modern stories and I can't help myself but feel that it's a mockery of the deep bond Joker and Batman share... The Batman (up until Batgirl is intorduced) has always been my favorite Batman cartoon almost solely because they let Joker be a crazy mf. I'm so glad you included it in the compilations.
Oh tell me about that! While I liked Batgirl as a character, it was the milestone that made it clear that this show is gonna be like every other show from this point on. And that hurts, we had something truly special before
I authentically feel like Batgirl was there to be the annoying comic relief. I like Batgirl in general, but she would constantly get jealous over Robin despite him being there longer than her. She acted like she had training, when she just went "I wanna be a superhero!" I don't hate her, but her character wasn't my favorite, especially with how the cartoon painted teenage girls *looks at Poison Ivy and how they degraded her to an extremist hippy rather than a misanthropist doctor, you know like most people treat Harley too*. Anyway, she messed things up for Batman and Robin a lot and I think was only ever really a good character in the Poison Ivy intro and Bruce hallucinating episodes
But yeah, I have a figurine of this Joker with his mallet and everything. I love that he had no problem with being a true villain. Heck, he CREATED Clayface and that's so cool to me

The Joker, although having incredible intelligence, is insane. He is obsessed over Batman even if he tries to kill him: the Joker sees it as a game and gets angry when he doesn't have batman to himself in the 'game' e.g. torturing Jason Todd, Dick Grayson etc. He even says this in Arkham Knight in one of the videos of him torturing Jason, 'You should try it sometime. After all, you've seen what happens when you drag your friends into this crazy little game of ours'.

Ever since Batman White Knight and some other stuff I've watched/read, I started shipping Batman and Harley because I like the Stoic and Crazy pairing but I know there's already a Batship that exists and it's Batjokes. It's obvious from how long this video is that these two have more of a messed up but intimate connection than with anyone else in Batman's rouge's gallery. IIRC, in Joker War, Harley said to Punchline that Joker never loved her and he only loves Batman.
Also, I love those transitions of Brave and the bold and Telltale
Eh. The sad thing about it is that Batman and Harley COULD be a very interesting and a genuinely sweet couple, IF the writers handled it carefully. For an example, the idea of Harley running away to Batman from Joker's abusive clutches, that's almost a poetic justice honestly. He's the only thing that can stop Joker, she's a psychiatrist, they could heal one another too. And I also think they would get along very well, their personalities are a good match. Perhaps they wouldn't exactly last long as a couple, but that would only make the little they had more precious. But it's too late for that. Harley isn't with Joker anymore, she's almost a perfect character with no flaws and no problems now, there's nothing to be saved from, nothing to be gained from the relationship, nothing. The only reason why modern DC writers (in the main canon) give her and Batman a hit of a romance is because they want to make her cool by making the main hero character interested in her. It's...sad
