Even though I can hold my V/I sit for 20 seconds or so, I've learned a lot from this. You've got the most legit explanations and tips for learning this skill man.
Awesome! Holding L sit for 30 sec and I thought that V is only an ab thing, but flexibility is of importance also, thank you for the vid!
Happy to help! Flexibility is often neglected in terms of learning the V-Sit!
Thank you for this video! Just watched it while my lunch break. Some really good tipps and exercises to achieve my next goal. 💪🏼🥳🙏🏼
First time I came across one of your videos... Great job !

Appreciate it Zack!!
I just discovered how much is this going to help my press to handstand if I got V-Sit before. Thanks for sharing, @sidpaulson
You are welcome!
Bravo!
Thanks Florian!
Do I have to do all the flexibility exercises? Do I have to do flexibility and compression every day?
I would aim for 1-2 sessions per week of compression strength.
Puedes hacer un tutorial de V-sit Rings? Saludos! Muy buen contenido el tuyo!
Thanks for watching.
Thank you
You got it Josh!

Thanks for the sub!
@@sidpaulson1 np😀
Cant belive u answered od a video that was posted 3 years ago damn
've got the L sit from floor for about 30 seconds before I start shaking like an earthquake, so figure i can spice things up w/ the v sit....gonna be doing the flexibility and compression circuit for a while
Yes, let me know how you get on!
Thank U 🙏
You're welcome 😊
Thanks
No problem
What a beautiful outro
Aww thanks!
Should I train v-sit or Straddle L, I after mastering L-sit?
That is a good idea if you want to learn that skill!
Hey bro, I am not good at English but I wanna question something. What should I do to be more flexible? For instance, I wanna learn V-sit and my problem is only flexibility. And I also want to learn the splits. I should focus on V-sit first and then train to splits or I can do both together?
Please join my facebook group and leave your question there! facebook.com/groups/gymnasticsmovers
would the last progression be training the swing?
Yeah you can do that too. It’s more dynamic, so it will be more flexibility focused.
Dyaaaaaum!
💪
Does it need core strength or hips etc?
Both.
What this the music
I can’t recall.
Beautiful foot arch🤌🏽
How to avoid hand shaking and thigh cramps during l sit 😭 plz reply
It's a part of the journey. push past it, and eventually it will go away!
Sir I can't even point my toes down like that
That's okay, it's not a prerequisite.
V stand is tiny aka oud v burner then a big balloon v shaped as an owl
“waterproof white trainers”
Whaaat?
I can hold it for maybe 10 seconds, with my legs in about a 55 degree position.
So yeah, that's why I'm here 😅
Hahaha hope the video helps!
@@sidpaulson1 Short update. I almost got it 90 degrees now after focusing on compression exercises. But I am going to get it even better. Thanks for the help.
That’s awesome. Great work!
so you basicly want do everything you do learn the L sit but 100 times more hardcore
reverse L sit next xDDD
Pretty much 😅😜
is this mutha fricka kitten me?
Hhaha yes
This is a very detailed list of progressions and tips for the V-Sit. You just earned yourself another subscriber!
That's awesome, happy to have you on the channel! :)
Awesome vid man you really killed it. I just discovered your channel today and took a look at some of your other vids after this one. They were very informative as well. This vid is what got me going though. I even liked the background music :) Subscribed!
Thanks JediKnight! Awesome to hear, thanks for watching! :D
Thanks bro ...perfect tutorial
Very nice and detailed video Thank you.
Awesome video Sid. Really enjoy the videos you are making very informative and to the point. Makes for some good learning. V-sit has been a goal of mine for a while now but I ventured off into flexibility once I worked on my pike and got lost doing leg mobility. Maybe it's time to work on compression and strength movements again! Keep it up!
Thank you Richard. That's my goal, to bring you guys value:) Yes it's all a balance between the different components. Good luck with your training!
LOOOVE this❤ thank you Sid👏😊
Thanks so much :D Happy you like it!!:)
Excellent video bro, love your drills and tips
Thank you very much. More coming!!:)
Thank you so much sid
Your welcome. Happy you like the video!:)
Awesome tutorial dude! i have searched long time for a good v-sit tutorial video and here i found it!
Thanks man. Happy you like it. Have you tried all the exercises?:)
I've tried some of them yesterday and it was useful! how much did it took you to get the perfect v-sit?
Awesome. Happy you found it useful. I can’t say exactly, it’s not been constant training for it, I’ve had many different periods of training for the V-sit.
Great tuto man !
Thank you :D
Great tips ! I've subscribbed
Fantastic. Thanks
Your welcome!!:)
Awesome tutorial!! How many v-sit tuck walks should I do? And how long will I have to practice until I'm able to do the V-sit if I do the exercises three times a week?
I would do as many as you can with proper technique. Difficult to say 😊
Hi Sid,
Thanks for the video, you've earned a new subscriber. :)
I'm new to calisthenics and gymnastics and need to buy paralettes. Could you please tell me which one you used in this video, or the diameter and length of the pole so that I can make my own? I have parallel bars, but need something close to the ground for handstand progressions etc...
Thanks
Flow
I will need to look that up, don't know on the spot! Thanks for subscribing, I really appreciate it :)
what's the difference between compression and strength? btw your videos are really good
As usual I really enjoy your videos. Can you please maje a Tutorial about kip in the rings
Do you mean kip to support/L-sit?
Execuse me,achieve pike stretch first and train pike press later or i can train them at the same time cause i have some difficult when i lift my leg on pike press routine ??
really good
Thanks!!
Si no te hace mucho trabajo. Estaría bueno que agregaras en la parte inferior de los vídeos un subtítulo en español ✌
great, thank you very much :) how many times in week i must do this exercise
2-3x per week should be good!:)
Sid Paulson thank you :)
I didn't know that the L sit was in a retraction of the scapulas I thought that you suppose to use Protraction and Hollow body, can you tell me what's the difference between those two?
when you retract its what they call an advance L- sit or a perfect one you push your chest out and retract your scapula a protraction is fine but its easyer that way
Omar Sawalha oo ok thanks :)
AirPlayer youre welcome
Shoulders retracted or protacted?
Hey man, how many times should I do that workout for V-sit with pike stretches included in my workouts ?
Do them around 2-3x per week! :)
what is the brand of the parallettes he is using ? I want to buy myself some. Or build some myself.
A friend of mine makes them!:)
New subscriber😘
Thanks for subscribing :D
Could you suggest any books I could use to help with my beginner stages of gymnastics
Don't really know many books for gymnastics. Maybe ''Overcoming Gravity'' :)
Sid Paulson thank you. I will pick it up today and start my journey
www.goodreads.com/book/show/8651755-building-the-gymnastic-body
But in my opinion you can learn a lot more from watching video tutorials. It's often complicated to describe how to perform an exercise. Its easier to show it.
Awesome. Good luck on your journey man!!🔥
Should i stretching before or after workout
I do dynamic stretches before the workout, and more thorough passive/loaded/active stretching after the workout.
How can I get the triceps strength plz say brother
Just keep working these v-sit progressions, and your triceps strength will improve!!
How many set for leg raise exercise bro
I always do between 3-5 sets!! :)
класс!
it's work
Awesome to hear! Thanks! :)
Excuse me!
Because I have "Disc herniation"
!
I can do it ?
I'm chinese english not good !
Forgive me...
I believe so. Although I don’t have any personal experience with disc problems. So I can’t say for sure.
@@sidpaulson1 OK thanks !
When I'm do something about tip motion.
I feel uncomfortable ..
shoulders retracted? not protracted?
Depends! I like to focus on retraction in the V-sit because of the transferability to the Manna! It just focusing on the V-sit I would do protracted!:)
What's your body weight bro
Around 73-74kg.
+Mónica Vernícola ❤️

? :)
BodyweightMastery That was a personal note I toke.
Keep up the good work.
Oh Nice man! Thanks for the support!😊
What height are you?
I'm 5'7
Same :(
Does this kinda exercise work for girls? Like I'm pretty sure guys have different muscle composition and distribution than girls right...
I think it will works with girl cause i have saw a woman do a v-sit,so yeah it will works but it will take longer time for girls to achieve this compare to men
Sakura Christine Ito if you start thinking so you will never archieve it. You just need to work a lot😉
This works perfectly well for girls. Yes guys and girls can have different muscle compositions.. But this doesn't really change anything, the process is still the same to learn skills like these.
Thanks for the reply! Gonna put these techniques into practice!!
rip elbow joints
Why? Are you not properly prepared?
@@sidpaulson1 oh geez, i did not notice that you replied to my comment. I can actually do the V-Sit now, thanks to you, haha. Watched your Manna tutorial as well. This will be hard my man
very less views for too much talent
Thanks for comment. Hopefully views will go up soon!! :D
should go :)
This is i-sit no v- sit
