I don't doubt that... There's always the next thing coming in just about everything these days anymore... Makes it tough to lay down the cash sometimes.
I like the original because i really like the pint size. I don't want to have to make more room for the larger containers since i like having several different flavors in the freezer at once.

Just got my Ninja Creami Deluxe yesterday and got the ingredients to make a pineapple sorbet. My machine only came with two containers (bummer) so I am in search of additional freezer jars. It looks like Amazon will have the them on sale starting on October 7th as a two pack. I think I’ll wait a couple days for Amazon Prime Days sale and buy at least four more!
Thank you for this video. Here in the Australia there's a huge difference in the price of the Ninja Creami and the Creami Deluxe. The deluxe is twice the price so Ill probably go for the first version.
Extremely informative and well done. Only issue is that the bigger container is 50% larger not a 3rd larger (3 is 50% bigger than 2. Half of 2 is 1. 1 plus 2 is 3). The smaller one is a 3rd SMALLER than the larger one. Just for future reference. Thanks again for the video.
Lol thanks! Yeah, I know... I just confused myself because the increase in ingredients is different than the increase in size..... I'm terrible with math.... And English... And a whole Lotta other stuff
The difference is the size, 2 cup vs 3 cup and some minor functional upgrades. First, you didn't choose the right speed choice for the blueberry yogurt. You picked one of the highest speeds and shortest time for "the plunge". Do a search for a Ninja Creami speed chart and from there all the different textures and softness is totally in your hands. The words of the "presets" mean nothing in my opinion, just think of them as speed controls where you take control of what you would like as your outcome. I wish they explained this better because theoretically they could have put a speed dial and timer on the thing and done the same thing. The big news is the additional cup and the targeted cup processing. Speed controls are in your hands on both machines.
great video! just the video I wanted to see. I appreciate you doing the comparison between both models is appearance, texture, and mouth feel. Because the new version came out with the title ninja deluxe, I thought the power and final result would be much better. But the deluxe is just a pinch better.
Glad it was helpful! We have both of them here still.... The extra capacity in the deluxe (which is really the biggest difference) does come in really handy. Unless you can get a deal for the original at maybe $129 or less, I'd still go with the Deluxe version if you don't have one already. If ya do, maybe not worth spending all that money again.
Heya....I did a video a while back about how to do that exact thing. Here is the link if you wanna check it out: th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.html

It doesn't have a button for it, but I'm playing with the other buttons to see which one makes the bowl nice. So far the slushie one seems to be the best, but I'm still messing with it.

You know... I never tried not doing that, but I'm sure you don't need to if you just want to do a small batch. Keep in mind that the Deluxe has an option to just process half of the pint as well, so you can just put the rest back in the freezer... So yeah.... I gues I just answered that.. haha... Obviously, you can just fill it half way as well if it has that feature.
Great side by side comparison review - super helpful. I've had the original for a few years now, and in general I love the results - but I've noticed a design flaw with the locking mechanism. Essentially the plastic jug doesn't lock in to the base securely enough, and over time the rotation of the blades introduces some 'wobble' into the base, and with my first Creami this wobble got so bad that the blades actually touched the sides of the tub and started shredding the plastic. I assumed this was a one off faulty product, and Ninja did replace it, but the replacement model is displaying the same early signs of wobble, which leads me to believe that it's a design flaw, rather than a one off. I was interested to see whether this has been addressed in the new Deluxe version, and it looks as though it has? Personally I think there's room in the line up for a 'Premium' version which is closer to the original PacoJet and uses mostly stainless steel. I'd willingly pay twice as much for something which gave me the same functionality but that I thought would last a lifetime
Thanks! I've seen the wobble that you were talking about on my 301. It hasn't touched the plastic yet, but it's there. I haven't see that at all with the deluxe though. The way it locks into the base is different, so hopefully it's better.. I've used it a ton though, and it's still solid.
I was just about to buy one and I noticed there was like a 100 price difference so I looked closer and peeped there's a model difference hopefully this video clears up if it's worth the price change. Thanks in advance lol
Thanks so much great review Just about to purchase. One question: Can you make a smoothie bowl with deluxe? If it’s protein ice cream & smoothie bowls being main things your buying machine for would you still recommend going for deluxe? Thanks you
Yes... You can do it, but there isn't a preset for that on the deluxe. Here is a video showing how I did it. th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aArZciBmcS1UDfye
Yeah. I think the upgrade is needed. Bcuz the cup looks easier to get into the holder on the new one. And I do like all the extra options on the new one.
I just recently purchase the nc30 below $100. I have not unpacked it yet. I it possible to make he slushi with the standard model, or should I upgrade, as I feel I would use this feature regularly in the summer. thanks for the your info on these models.
I live in Canada. I wanted the Deluxe but haven't found it. I decided to pick-up the Creami 7-in-1 instead. Great comparison. The functions not on the 7. How can I do those on the OG Creami? Creamiccino, Italian Ice etc
Thanks! It depends on what u want to do. I did do a video about making smoothie bowls on the new one since it no longer has a button for it. Been working on doing the other functions too.
@@JoesPhenomenal Thank you. My issue is the Deluxe does not appear to be available in Canada. I had to go with the regular but was wondering if I can do all the functions of the Deluxe in the OG.
Yeah... You can. The buttons are all just preset functions, just have to experiment a little bit to see which one gives you the best result. The deluxe just came out, and it seems like it's slow getting to other markets for some reason.
@@MicEffecthi! I’m Canadian too and I’ve been able to buy the creami deluxe on Amazon ca! But yeah… I’ve looked up and there is no warranty so if you take that route , be prepared 😂
Ty for this video, I'm content on the regular version that I got for $70. I do not think I need the extra features on the deluxe. Appreciate the comparison.
I wish they would come out with a heavy duty one that allows for more fruit and other ingredients that can break these current models. I would gladly pay more for that.
It's funny you ask that. Here's a video for exactly that! and I agree with ya. I hate it when they remove presets like that. th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.html
The older machine has a button for it. The new one doesn't, but you can use one of the others as a substitute and it's fine. I made a video about smoothie bowls on it if ya wanna check it out. Here goes the link if you're interested. th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.html
So, you can make smoothie bowls in the Deluxe without a setting for it, but! Does that work backwards? I know you can make frozen yogurt in the original despite no setting, but can you make Slushies, Creamiccinos and frozen drinks? Would it damage to machine to do so? I'm trying to decide weather to get the deluxe or the creami, the small size does appeal to me for simplicity, plus the deluxe is not on the european market yet
Hmmm... making the drinks would be interesting. I think I might be able to figure out a way to get that stuff to work in there. It's amazing that they haven't offered the new one out where you are yet. I wonder what the holdup is?
Hi joe I noticed you mentioned that we can process the bottom half in the deluxe version, you said this is for when you put the tub back in the freezer. Does this mean every time you place the container back in the freezer you need to use the machine again? Even after processing the entire pint?
Hi! Yes. It will harden back up in the freezer after processing, since we aren't putting any additives into it that prevent that. Even so, homemade ice cream tends to do that anyway. If you are just processing the top half in the deluxe and put the bottom half back in the freezer, it will not have been processed at all just yet, as well (just on the deluxe though). Hope that helps clarify!
My question is if you can make the same drinks that are offered with the deluxe with the regular creami? I was told you could. If this is the case what are the “hacks” “tips” and advice? Im curious to know!
Still playing with the drink stuff like the slushies and frappes. The smoothie bowl setting on the original machine so far seems to do the best for making those drinks as far as I've seen though.
Once you figure it out how you can make the other drinks that are offered with the deluxe and other newer machines (ie slushes and the other ones) can you please share that information
What I want to know is does the deluxe break as often as the normal one? I just upgraded after my second normal one broke. Two have broken within a few months. Their support is great, but the engineering on it needs to be fixed.
That's one I can't give you much insight on. I have 3 different models, and all of them still work great. My original Creami, the normal one, did get a lid replacement for the outer container though. There's a little plastic nub on it that tells the machine that the pitcher is on all the way, and it busted off. New one cost me $14.
Joe I would like your opinion on this. Right now Sam's club has The Creami on sale for $120 and Costco has the Deluxe version for $180+ shipping because I do not have one close by. Which would you buy? They both come with 3 cups
It is.... For some reason, Ninja decided that they would name the actual container a pint as well though. That worked out well until they released the deluxe with the larger one.... And still kept calling it "pint". Nice and confusing, as a lot of things are here. Haha
I think it uses the same motor. Just larger capacity and some extra modes and features. If you already own an original Creami, it's harder to justify upgrading. If you are buying one for the first time, I would probably go with the Deluxe, even though it costs more.
I have the 7 in 1 right now. I am in the fence about getting the upgrade. What I am more interested in is power. Does the deluxe have more power than the previous versions?
Heya, Janice. I think they are the same power. The real differences are the size of the pints and the ability to do halves. If you are on the fence, I'd recommend you stick with what you have. IMO, it's not different enough to warrant spending all the money to upgrade it, unless you really, really like those 2 features.
I want thendeluxe model.. but they don't make them in 240v for whatever reason.. if i was a betting man, id buy both ans try to switch out the oower supply because the 300anz model has a 240v power supply.
Hey, Gary... I saw that you had a second message that TH-cam deleted for some reason, but I did see it. I assume you were talking about the pitchers for the 300 and 500? Those aren't interchangeable. The one on the Deluxe is physically larger, and is keyed differently on the bottom for the larger Creami Pint containers. You might be able to get the 240v motor to run in the deluxe, but I have no idea about how intricate that might be.
@@JoesPhenomenal yeah.. I was honestly just going to swap out the supplies and see if it would work.. but without seeing either of them it's hard to say.
I keep noise-cancelling headphones in the kitchen that I also wear when vacuuming. The noise level on this is enough so that I avoid using it otherwise, but my ears are super sensitive.
How do you get it so creamy on the first run? Maybe my freezer is too cold or something (which is set to 0 degrees F) , but I usually have spin first, then add more liquid to the middle, then spin a couple more times to get that consistency you get in the video. What's your secret?
I had avoided the original Creami because processing an entire pint at once was too much for one person. I was super enthusiastic about being able to process half a pint because that would be closer to the right serving size...and then the deluxe went and increased the cup size by 50%, so half the container is 1.5 cups, not 1 cup. Better, but not great? Decisions decisions.
HI! I was in the same boat that you are. It's been an good upgrade over here.... I process halves all the time now, and it works out nice. That extra capacity really is pretty awesome.
Just eat half and reprocess it. I haven’t seen anywhere that “requires” you to make a whole pint, either, though I haven’t tried it for myself. A pint is not too much for one person. I had 2 last night by myself. My 2 pints were about the same calories as one half a pint of Ben and Jerry’s. except, almost no fat, 60g+ of protein, and decent carb. your ingredients matter as well.
@@Sffker all good points! That being said I've done some testing on the original just processing, eating half, and then flettening out the lower half, refreezing and then reprocessing.. Seems to work OK. OK the deluxe, when you do a lower half process, it runs the paddle a lot slower in the empty space where the upper part would have been a d then spools up when it gets down to the lower part... Dunno if that's to make it easier on the machine, maybe? Hasn't seemed to hurt the smaller one yet.
You can, but it's a little bit more complicated. On that you can use the milkshake feature, but you gotta make sure that when you freeze the pint, you leave a quite a bit of space at the top do you can pour in some cold coffee. The frozen part is probably gonna need to be no more than half way up.
I'd love to... they gotta send me one though... That's a big purchase. The Creami is modeled after the Pacojet, so it's very similar. With the pacojet you would get much more speed, much more capacity, the ability to work with harder ingredients, since it's a commercial product it's probably way more durable as well.... But we're talking $200 vs $5000 , so you'd expect all that stuff.
Here in Singapore I can get the creami I really cheap. US$121 as they’re clearing stock. I can’t even find the creami deluxe locally unless I ship it from USA which will cost me US$199 + US$50 shipping. Should I just get the OG creami?
That makes sense. It JUST came out over here. It's not a massive difference from the original, other than having some new presets and the higher capacity. I saw if you can get it for 120 bucks, I'd jump all over that. It's a fantastic deal.
My favorite right now is the Creami Deluxe. I like my smaller compressor machine a lot too. The big one works super well, but I couldn't justify the amount of space it was taking up on the counter.
Yesp... you just have to use a different preset. I just happen to make a video about that exact thing! Go figure... Here goes the link if you wanna check it out: th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.html
You can do it, but you'd have to experiment with what setting works the best. That one also isn't really designed for making drinkable stuff, so you'll have to experiment with how much space you leave in there for liquids when you process.
10:27 obviously a poor comparison here since the original doesn't even have that mode, you should have compared the basic ice cream modes together, that is probably the most important mode
That's fair. I didn't do direct comparison with the same feature on each machine because they came out exactly the same on each one.... Except the deluxe could make a little more at one time.
You can but I wouldn't recommend it. It will be thick and takes too long with the freezing.... I have frozen smoothies before and then run them in the Machine, and they end up OK... Just probably too much work.
Scoops? Quenelles would have been +5 credibility! In seriousness though, this was exactly the video I was looking for in choosing between the machines. Thanks!
@JoesPhenomenal OK thank you. That's what's holding us back from getting it. It's just way too loud. Hopefully Ninja will address that in a newer model.
Yeah.. Ninja had a history or noisy stuff. The noise on the creami models are all about the same. The Ninja Creami Breeze is a tiny bit more quiet, but only a couple of decibels.
Heya, Strongman. With the original machine, the container has a 2 cup capacity. With the new one, it's 3 cups. Also, the new one gives you the option to process half of it and leave the rest frozen, if you want to save it for another time.
If you don't have one already, it's worth getting the new one. If you have the original already, it's up for debate. If didn't run a TH-cam channel, I would have likely not pulled the trigger since we have one already.
For the original and the deluxe for the same programs, they are really close. Maybe a couple of seconds different, but nothing worth mentioning, really.
Just found your channel searching for info on the deluxe. I am a certified Keto Coach and recommend the Creami to all my clients. Think I need to watch all of your videos now. (Also does my user photo look familiar?? 😉 )
Awesome! Thank you! What Year is your Model 3? Ours is a 2022. Got it mid-January. Been loving that thing.. I'm a big Elon guy, so I might be biased, but it's the best car I've ever owned.
Mine is a 2021. Have had it for 1 1\2 years. Awesome car. By far the best I have had and I am in my mid sixties, I have had lots of car! I drove a Prius for 10 years before my Tesla so no comparison!
I do like the original but can see where people would like the deluxe if their first buy... I paid $150 for my original and I noticed the deluxe is $250.... both are great...
I agree.... If I didn't do reviews and stuff, I wouldn't have doubled up and bought the larger one, just because the new features alone didn't warrant an upgrade.... That being said, the original one has been in the pantry since I got the new one.
About Ninja, used to be the joke of the kitchen appliances industry you would avoid them and now they have become the industry leader everyone else is copying trying to cache up to. Got to give them credit for turning it around so fast. Now about the Creami, it was a Christmas present to myself since cost $56 dollars then $37 next 4. My goto ice cream machine has been 2 QVC thermal magnetic versions because no prefreezing I can make ice cream on the fly since half&half is always refrigerated but does take 1-2 hours and works better is cool rooms than hot. My freezer isn't very big and mostly full so how often use this remains to be seen. Along with this have their 10qt double draw air fryer, dual oven air fryer oven, speedi and combi but thumbs down on thirsty machine I'll stick to my Sodastream Revelation and Costco sold version bought long time ago.
Agreed. They've come a long way... They still have quality issues here and there, but I think everyone does.... Those compressor machines are pretty awesome. I have one of those too. Works out great as well.
@@JoesPhenomenal my 2 machines aren't compressor machines they work off a old technology. Simply a electric charge reacts with the tube draws hot molecules out and leaves the cold one behind, like a AC just no refrigerantion needed. I have a small fridge in my bedroom that holds cans of soda works same way and it does work. Reached 40 degrees which is fine for soda.
@@JoesPhenomenal depends on ambient temperature around it. Can only lower temp around 30 degrees why it works on my small fridge is aluminium cans hold cold if you just used juice boxes no. Cardboard doesn't hold cold. Their are videos on here explaining how it works and it's supposed to be used in wine fridges just started to use it in ice cream machines.
Hi Joe. I love the idea of the deluxe machine but wanted a smoothie bowl option. Is there a feature that gives a similar texture and what kind of recipes would work for that feature?
I'm working on going through the presets on it to see if any of them produce the same consistency as the smoothie bowl function on the original... Pretty confident that one of them will do it.

Lol thanks! Yeah, I know... I just confused myself because the increase in ingredients is different than the increase in size..... I'm terrible with math.... And English... And a whole Lotta other stuff
Mine goes to 11 so it’s 1 louder.
Spinal tap!
Theoretically can you still use the smaller recipes in the deluxe? I purchased the deluxe already not knowing this is for larger sizes!
@@killerpodcaststhe volume of ingredients would be completely different. You would have to somehow convert your recipes.
Agreed. Much appreciated, my friend!
Great informative video. I appreciate the clarity
Thanks, Vincent!
great video! just the video I wanted to see.

ANOTHER INCREDIBLY EFFICIENT REVIEW!! Thx!!
My pleasure!
Very good and welcome review! Thank you so much for the superb comparison. I’ll definitely go for the de luxe! 🙏😊
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
What setting would you use on the creami deluxe to make a frozen smoothie bowl?
Heya....I did a video a while back about how to do that exact thing. Here is the link if you wanna check it out: th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.html
Great review of both items. Very informative! Thanks.

No problem! Thanks!
Thanks Joe for the video it was very helpful,, so your right for the extra 50/60 euros it's the deluxe 👍,cheers Joe and a happy New Year,, sending you all the best in the world from Eire
Thanks for the comparison Joe. Very helpful content.
You're welcome!
Thank you for the video. great information. Is the deluxe able to do the smoothie bowl function like the regular creami?
It doesn't have a button for it, but I'm playing with the other buttons to see which one makes the bowl nice. So far the slushie one seems to be the best, but I'm still messing with it.
You've mentioned most of your ice cream recipes are sugar free and low fat. Do you have your recipes posted anywhere? I'm very interested!
They are in our desserts Playlist... Here goes the link. Desserts & Treats with No Refined Sugars!: th-cam.com/play/PL_7Tp_C-EAJ-40FkzlUqb1dde7bYyOrGH.html
I just bought one today based on your review. Awesome. My only question is tho is do I have to fill the ingredients all the way to the fill line?
@@JoesPhenomenal that’s really helpful to know, thank you!

@@JoesPhenomenal yeah the extra features and capacity make it worth it to me . Definitely also have to get more cups since most only come with 1 or 2.
@zxero973 very true.... I have 6 sitting in the freezer right now... Luckily I have a lot of space in there.
Thanks so much great review
Just about to purchase. One question:
Can you make a smoothie bowl with deluxe?
If it’s protein ice cream & smoothie bowls being main things your buying machine for would you still recommend going for deluxe?
Thanks you
Yes... You can do it, but there isn't a preset for that on the deluxe. Here is a video showing how I did it. th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aArZciBmcS1UDfye
Yeah. I think the upgrade is needed. Bcuz the cup looks easier to get into the holder on the new one. And I do like all the extra options on the new one.
I've been liking it.... The larger pint size is really my favorite part... and having the option to just process half of it if I want to.
Amazing review! Thank you ❤️

I just recently purchase the nc30 below $100. I have not unpacked it yet. I it possible to make he slushi with the standard model, or should I upgrade, as I feel I would use this feature regularly in the summer. thanks for the your info on these models.

Technically that makes the deluxe 50% larger
Great Scott! You're right! Gratzi!

Where'd you find it for $70?
That’s what I would love to know!
I wish they would come out with a heavy duty one that allows for more fruit and other ingredients that can break these current models. I would gladly pay more for that.
So would I. Maybe all metal construction with stainless pints? That's kind of what you get with a Pacojet... That and massive power.

One of the things that I would like to know is did Ninja address the amount of decibel from the new vs the old
It's about the same. That's always been one of the things about Ninja products... Pretty loud across the board.
5:24* 50% (or 1/2) larger, not a third larger
Lol... Yep.... My math skills are eroding away faster than my hairline.
Will do!
Hey Joe new subscriber here. This looks so good. I want a Ninja creami so badly. I can't wait to get one. The delux one for sure. Great video.
Thanks for the sub! I think you're gonna love it. We have a ton of recipes on here for it too.
They both come with 3 cups
perfect video! I will buy the deluxe version, thank you!
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful
In the US is a pint not a measurement? Is it just a name for an ice cream container?
I see a lot of “you get a bigger pint”
It is.... For some reason, Ninja decided that they would name the actual container a pint as well though. That worked out well until they released the deluxe with the larger one.... And still kept calling it "pint". Nice and confusing, as a lot of things are here. Haha
Does the deluxe have a bigger motor? That would be what I would want it for more than anything…
What is your ice cream scoop? Looks great!
Which one? I have a Playlist on the channel with all my icr cream videos on it. Definitely would be in there.
I have exactly 16.5" for this to sit. Can you give me an exact measurement for the Deluxe?
Sure... it's 16 3/4" tall... A tiny bit too tall. Ugh!
wonderful video.. kudos. very helpful
Thanks!
Joe, can you use the recipes, for the creami machine on the Creami deluxe machine, since we cannot find a cookbook for the New Creami Deluxe ?
Yes. If you just increase all the ingredients by 50%, it should be just about right.
Is the deluxe only available in the states at the moment? Can’t seen to see it in the UK
I think so... It just got released about a month ago, so it might take some time to be available where you are.
@@JoesPhenomenal cheers Joe and appreciate the work put into these reviews. Just ordered the Creami off the back of your other reviews 👌🏻
Thanks! Hope ya like it!
They released the deluxe in Germany yesterday, maybe they are available in the UK now as well :)
@berlinaroids possibly.... Ninja is super slow with international releases though.
Hmm.. Let me know if you try that... That's interesting!
How did the noise level of the two compare? The 301 is very noisy so I would love to know if there is any improvement (or worsening) in the 501.
Heya, Will. It's just about the same. If there's any difference there, it wasn't enough for me to be able to tell.
Can you make a coffee chino in the first version machin
You can, but it's a little bit more complicated. On that you can use the milkshake feature, but you gotta make sure that when you freeze the pint, you leave a quite a bit of space at the top do you can pour in some cold coffee. The frozen part is probably gonna need to be no more than half way up.
What recipe did you use for the frozen yogurt?
Here ya go, Lydia. th-cam.com/video/mVrCaRqvbXk/w-d-xo.html
Do you have to fill it to the fill line for it to work?
Nope.. That's just the maximum. You can come in lower if you want to.
Did you notice a difference in the noise levels?
The Deluxe is louder, but just slightly.
@@JoesPhenomenal thansk
can you do a comparison between the ninja creami deluxe vs. The Pacojet? please please
@@JoesPhenomenal i hope they send you one!
Lol.. I won't be holding my breath, though.
@@JoesPhenomenal yea. Ok thx for the affirmation.
You bet!
So which one of your ice cream makers do you like?
My favorite right now is the Creami Deluxe. I like my smaller compressor machine a lot too. The big one works super well, but I couldn't justify the amount of space it was taking up on the counter.
So can you still make smoothie bowls with the deluxe even without the preset feature?
Yesp... you just have to use a different preset. I just happen to make a video about that exact thing! Go figure... Here goes the link if you wanna check it out: th-cam.com/video/uKscxuhJ-0Q/w-d-xo.html
My question here is, can you do a slushy with the original? Or only With the Deluxe?
You can do it, but you'd have to experiment with what setting works the best. That one also isn't really designed for making drinkable stuff, so you'll have to experiment with how much space you leave in there for liquids when you process.
@@JoesPhenomenalokay thank you ☺️
10:27 obviously a poor comparison here since the original doesn't even have that mode, you should have compared the basic ice cream modes together, that is probably the most important mode
That's fair. I didn't do direct comparison with the same feature on each machine because they came out exactly the same on each one.... Except the deluxe could make a little more at one time.
Hey Joe, Betty Jo here. I just got my Ninja Creami Deluxe. I am wondering the ingredients that ate in your yogurt in this video.
Yes. Here ya go. th-cam.com/video/mVrCaRqvbXk/w-d-xo.html

Thanks!

It's close, but the deluxe might be a decibel or so louder.

So do u get more ice cream with the new one seems like you end up being the same
Heya, Strongman. With the original machine, the container has a 2 cup capacity. With the new one, it's 3 cups. Also, the new one gives you the option to process half of it and leave the rest frozen, if you want to save it for another time.
@@JoesPhenomenal so you think it's worth the upgrade?
If you don't have one already, it's worth getting the new one. If you have the original already, it's up for debate. If didn't run a TH-cam channel, I would have likely not pulled the trigger since we have one already.
And the times are the same?
For the original and the deluxe for the same programs, they are really close. Maybe a couple of seconds different, but nothing worth mentioning, really.

Thanks to costco I was able to get the 501 for less than what the 301 was being sold for online
Yeah.. that deal over there is epic.
@kinglord5429 cool... Interesting stuff!
Hi Joe. I love the idea of the deluxe machine but wanted a smoothie bowl option. Is there a feature that gives a similar texture and what kind of recipes would work for that feature?
