  • The new Ninja Creami Deluxe NC501 is newer and better, but is it good enough for an upgrade? If you liked this video, you might like the review videos for these 2 Ninja Creamis right here: • Ninja Foodi Pro vs Nin... , • Ninja Creami After 6 M...
    On September 20th, 2022, Ninja released their brand new and improved Ninja Creami Deluxe ice cream maker. Not only does it make ice cream, but you can do shakes, gelato, sorbet, smoothie bowls, Frappes, and all sorts of other frozen desserts and treats. Previously, Ninja only other option was to make these types of things with their blenders and single serve smoothie maker cups. Those do the job ok, but now there is a dedicated machine designed exclusively for the purpose of frozen desserts and treats, The Ninja Creami Deluxe NC501! It handles these kinds of jobs really well, and is a better option for making frozen things. Ninja has improved upon their existing Ninja Creami model by adding new options, making the creami pints larger, and giving you the ability to process half and save the rest for later! The real question is, however, is it better than the old Ninja Creami NC301? And if so, is it good enough to warrant an upgrade to the new model? Watch this video and find out!

      @@JoesPhenomenal ..... Joe, I'm wondering if you might be able to help me with creating something that I used to love as a child. One of my most treasured memories was when my grandmother and I would stop at our local ice cream parlor where they made homemade ice cream and still do to this day. I loved their ginger flavor and the blackberry the best and in third place was banana. Also their rum raisin was fabulous. I'd love to recreate all of these but in particular the ginger. If memory serves me correctly it was like a creamy vanilla with ginger flavor and specks of crystalized ginger and a hint of nutmeg. It was divine. Any thoughts on how to make this flavor ice cream or frozen yogurt? I'd love to get your input and would be most appreciative. 🍦 🤗

    great video! just the video I wanted to see. I appreciate you doing the comparison between both models is appearance, texture, and mouth feel. Because the new version came out with the title ninja deluxe, I thought the power and final result would be much better. But the deluxe is just a pinch better.

      Glad it was helpful! We have both of them here still.... The extra capacity in the deluxe (which is really the biggest difference) does come in really handy. • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Yes. It will harden back up in the freezer after processing, since we aren't putting any additives into it that prevent that. Even so, homemade ice cream tends to do that anyway. If you are just processing the top half in the deluxe and put the bottom half back in the freezer, it will not have been processed at all just yet, as well (just on the deluxe though). Hope that helps clarify!

    The difference is the size, 2 cup vs 3 cup and some minor functional upgrades. First, you didn't choose the right speed choice for the blueberry yogurt. You picked one of the highest speeds and shortest time for "the plunge". Do a search for a Ninja Creami speed chart and from there all the different textures and softness is totally in your hands. The words of the "presets" mean nothing in my opinion, just think of them as speed controls where you take control of what you would like as your outcome. I wish they explained this better because theoretically they could have put a speed dial and timer on the thing and done the same thing. The big news is the additional cup and the targeted cup processing. Speed controls are in your hands on both machines.

      Heya, Janice. I think they are the same power. The real differences are the size of the pints and the ability to do halves. If you are on the fence, I'd recommend you stick with what you have. I was super enthusiastic about being able to process half a pint because that would be closer to the right serving size...and then the deluxe went and increased the cup size by 50%, so half the container is 1.5 cups, not 1 cup. In the UK there is more than $100 difference between the two, which from this video I don't think is worth it.
    Thank you 🙏🏻

      I felt the same way.... Didn't like it when I originally reviewed it, but over time it grew on me... It's a pain in the neck sometimes to prepare pints ahead of time, but I just bought a bunch so could make enough to were I'd always have a couple in the freezer... The resulting ice cream really is that good. My compressor machine does OK if I want some fast soft serve, but those Creami machine made ice creams have such great texture to them.

      @@JoesPhenomenal ahhh ok Thankyou for that. I was thinking about getting a cuisineart but I think they make larger amounts and the bowls sometimes freeze up on the sides and can’t churn? It’s only going to be for 1 or 2 people.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah.. Those freeze up pretty quickly after you stop churning.... So with those you keep it going til it's done, and it works out nice.

      Heya KZ... Typical cabinet height is supposed to have an 18" backsplash above your base cabinets... So for most people it should fit under there unless the contractor that built the house didn't so that, or it's a different height on purpose or something. You'd probably want to measure that before buying anything that fits in that close though, just be be sure, just in case.

      @kz7115 yeah? How much space do you have on the backsplash? I'm building a new kitchen.. Was planning on maybe going higher, or just eliminating the upper cabinets all together.
