Which machine is for you, the Ninja Slushi or the Ninja Creami Deluxe? If you liked this video, you might want to see our Ninja Slushi review video: th-cam.com/video/hblfWSUOrS4/w-d-xo.html
i have both but like the slushi better my reason for liking the slushi better is i don't have to wait 24 hrs ,the quantity i can make and speed, most of times i just want an iced drink or milkshake today and not tomorrow so my wife and i use the creamy mostly to make ice creams when we can wait a day
@kw1254 it makes it about like a Wendy's frosty. That's about as thick as it can make it, as any thicker and it wouldn't be able to come out of the machine. Not though.
I saw that. Thanks for mentioning that. Totally forgot to say something about it. Tried it on both settings, and in my particular case, the frozen drink setting ended up making it a little more runny. It was still really good, but the slush setting just seemed to get it closer to the Slushi... for my particular mixture anyways... It's pretty subjective though.
The one thing that kept me from buying the slushi is that you’re forced to drink sugar. While the creami is able to make a variety of creations and unlimited options without needing sugar. It’s more versatile for health conscious.
I think if you use more alcohol, you have to balance it out with a little extra liquid. The machine wants the alcohol content to stay below 25% if I remember right.
Those stainless steel pitchers you used when you made the Jolly Rancher sour green apple slushi in the Ninja Slushi Maker were awesome.Where do you get those amazon? Also The jolly rancher green apple sour slushi Mix concentrate I'm sure it's also amazon as well? Great channel and great content as always Joe!
Thanks! Appreciate ya. The stainless pitchers are right here: amzn.to/3zFJdwY. It comes with a 2 cup, 4 cup, and 8 cup. They're pretty snazzy. I got the jolly rancher mix from Webrestaurant. Here goes where I got those from: www.webstaurantstore.com/vendor/jolly-rancher-slushy.html?srsltid=AfmBOopSPAAeO13YlHFLqqVlZvakWIc-FbLHcchZvNQruk8S7q9Frcoe
I love your visualizing videos, but I would like to see comparing information with text on left and right, then it will be helpful to organize all info well. otherwise you keep saying long information and nothing remain. thank you for great video tho!
I have the Ninja Creami. Have been making nothing but ice cream, but after watching your video I going to give making a Slushi a try. Also from watching your video, I can't justify spending $300 for the Slushi machine if the Creami does that good of a job. Plus with the Creami you don't have the sugar free problem. I mixed up some sugar free lemon-aid. Hopefully, it turns out as well as yours did.
The slushi is a waste of electricity. 🙁 Get a vitamix or nutribullet. They're great for drinks, and useful for other functions as well (and no need to add sugar).
The 24 hour freeze time is a hindrance, but if you had the extra containers you could plan out your ice cream etc weeks in advance...not bad. The slushy machine though❤❤❤..I wonder if one could use it to make other things..like a milk shake or soft serve..no? I can't imagine being able to own either machine but if I was able to, I'd go slushy all the way
@@Nowayjose-vd1wm you can do milkshakes... Also you can do soft serve, but it has to be really soft otherwise it can't come out of the machine since it works mostly on gravity. You're right about the ice cream... I always have 4 pints frozen and rdy to go, so it's always available when I want it... I have 2 refrigerators though, so I'm sure not to use up too much freezer space on it.
@behindthebuild8016 yeah... Def see that. You can do as little as 16oz in the Slushi, but it's still a lot to spend if you don't mind making some slush mix in advance foe the creami.
If you would have filled the containers to the actual drinkable max fill line , you would not need to add liquid and re-spin . Remember , the proper line is the top and bottom of the black vertical line .
That ironic that I removed all the taste comparisons since the video was getting way to long. LOL. As far as flavor goes, it was the same regardless of the machine. However, the slushi versions were consistenty lighter since they had so much more air in them. The texture on those held up longer in the mouth as well. Still nice in the Creami, but I felt like there was a lot more separation on those and it melted pretty fast in mouth. Hope that helps.
As a slushie fiend, the Ninja Creamy slushies look atrocious. Uneven slushies make air pockets when sipping and launches lone melted liquid into your mouth before even getting to the slushed part.

Awesome video, been looking for a review of both 🥳
@@carlosmario1096 thanks! I do have full reviews for both of those on here if you need more in depth info on em.
Thanks, been waiting for someone to do a comparison!
Glad it was helpful!

Agreed.... Same logic that I have for myself.
Does the milkshake setting on the slushy not make good ice cream?Soft-serve I'd assume

@@JoesPhenomenal what if you used soft-serve ice cream mix? Do you think it might be similar to soft custard?
@anthonyf3334 hmm.... Maybe... The Slushi just used gravity for the spigot though, so if it's thick, it won't come out of there, possibly.
Phenomenal review and comparison as always.
Thanks! Much appreciated. 😊
In the manual for the creami, it says to use the frozen drink setting for anything with alcohol

Very much so. Working on some shush recipes that approach that but it's definitely not as easy.
They have other options you can use to substitute sugar. I found some on TH-cam since my mom is diabetic
@k1ngveal I just uploaded a video showing his to do it minus the sugar. It should publish next week!
This is my dilema 😢 help!
@joshdavila87 here goes a link to my sugarless Ninja Slushi video... Might help ya out. th-cam.com/video/DCHEQ9dwIII/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your videos. I have the ninja Creami deluxe so I don’t have the need for the slushi.
Good Stuff. Gotta love that Creami.
Both machines are amazing! The R&D on these must have took years to bring to the market. Thanks for the comparison. I want both units. 😅
They are.... Both ideas are taken from other machines, but they found ways to really get the price down.
I wonder how the Slushhe would hold up to stronger liquers to make frozen margaritas and daiquiris. When I use a blender it tends to not hold well
I think if you use more alcohol, you have to balance it out with a little extra liquid. The machine wants the alcohol content to stay below 25% if I remember right.
Video is cool and informative but what about them bear claw shoes? They`re awesome.
That's actually my feet. Didn't remember to shave that day.

We love our Slushi it is just an amazing product, and now my wife wants the Creami so I guess I will have to make some more shelf space lol
Ugh.... Shelf space.... The struggle is real!
Great video! The Slushi would be fun to have for what you said and also the just sake of having it! I just wish that it didn't require sugar. 😿
The sugar thing is a challenge, but there are ways around it with gums and allulose. Putting something together right now to exploit that.
@@JoesPhenomenal I'll be watching!

Nice video. What is the minimum amount the Shlushi machine can take? I only want one per day.
16oz is the minimum on the machine. You can probably get away with a tiny bit less
@@JoesPhenomenal thanks for the reply!

You didn’t mention how long the creami takes to make the drink from the frozen block?
@@behindthebuild8016 you mean after it's been frozen and you put it in the machine? It's about 3 minutes or so.
Ok perfect that’s very quick. Creami seems like the better choice unless you’re entertaining regularly

😎 You are going to have both, especially if you got kids ... 💀🍵🍕 Joe, I'm sure your planning green slushi's and pizza for Halloween 😂
Ghost shaped pepperonis?
You can make soft ice cream with the ninja slushy?
The thickest you can get is slightly softer than something like a Wendy's Frosty
Has anyone used the slushy machine to make coffee? Like a frap/iced cap style
Here ya go: th-cam.com/video/3f6zJ0RfjX0/w-d-xo.html

I would take the ice cream machine since its kind of a all in one machine 🎉

I always end up needing to do respins anyway, because I keep my freezer at -8 like a dork. heh heh.
So what you're saying is if I have a creami then save my money. I love the separation.
If you don't mind having to wait overnight, then it does a pretty nice job... And you still have some money in your pocket. Win win.
🤔 This guy makes everything more interesting.

Slush might be better at slush but can't make ice cream ever. No comparison
Definitely different machines. I'd never give up my creami.
And the slushie machine makes all that
The slushie looks better
As a slushie fiend, the Ninja Creamy slushies look atrocious. Uneven slushies make air pockets when sipping and launches lone melted liquid into your mouth before even getting to the slushed part.
The aeration aspect isn't very close. I like that you can actually make one with the creami, but definitely not the best choice.
That was not good review. The reason is like with second one you did not do the same mix
First pin❤pls
RUNNIER.... NOT more runny!
How about More Runnier? haha
