      I personally want the deluxe just for the added features. Plus I know the deluxe actually does have colors available, they're just qvc/hsn special options (cherry, olive, light blue, dark blue,, and I think a rose gold too) but that just annoyingly means waiting for them to be back in stock

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  ปีที่แล้ว

      @theinsanebotanist I wonder if those are being done as vinyl wraps or if they are actually doing that stuff at Ninja. I assumed that if Ninja was doing it in house, there would be no reason not to offer that in the website. Need to check on that.

    The model numbering makes perfect sense when you realize that the breeze is the lowest powered reduced cost version, essentially the creami lite. the reason the deluxe is able to have the extra functions is it has the most power of all three models and was designed to handle solid ice drinks that would cause the other two machines to struggle. that the reason the newer breeze doesn't have those options. the deluxe is bar far the best machine of the three. the motors and drive mechanisms are not the same. check out the specs from ninja, they list the rotation and plunge speeds for each setting as well the motor power.

      All I was able to dig up so far was the power output specs on the motors. All of the creami models are listed at 120v, 800w of power.... I was planning on trying to get someone on the phone to find out a little more, but if the deluxe is indeed suited for tougher ingredients, I would have thought it would have higher output.

    Thanks Joe. Question: Have they found a way for us to clean the stem yet? I know they say it retracts without any residue on it, but I'm finding that hard to believe. What are you thoughts?

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, they insist that the seal will keep a of that out.. When th pints get processed, it does push the contents largely to the outside edges of the pint, as well... So I guess that's something. Rubber seals like that work well on garden spicket handles, and hoses and on automive parts as well and hold o
      Up for quite a while, and those are under a lot of pressure, so I feel like it should probably be fine as long as the seal doesn't get damaged or something.... Tough to figure, though.

      Looks like a lot of people somehow get the blade to hit the side of the cup. I was thinking it could come from not freezing the pints on a level surface... At least that could be one reason. That being said, I do a lot of creami content and haven't had that happen on any of my Ninja Creamis...... YET

    Can you tell me I’m new to ninja deluxe
    I made the vanilla ice cream from the book came out great. The first day
    But the 2nd day it tasted alittle icy I had to put alittle milk in it
    The three day it was even more icy. The taste was still good but the texture was icy
    Help please

      The creami pints do as well if they get processed several times like that. You can add a little guar or xanthan gum to the mix when you make it, and it might help lessen that though. The most I've ever gone is taking two tries to finish up a pint, personally.

  • @ashbjorn

    You didn't compare the noise levels at peak production rates, which shoot up all the way to 100dB+, so this is a biased test to make them seem quieter, but they are absolutely anything but quiet.
    Great machine no doubt, but this amount of noise level made it an instant return for our family.

    Have you seen the problems with it causing a fire because of the blade exploding the pint in the breeze or is that for both? I just ordered the breeze but I’m scared that something bad will happen like that. Might return the breeze for normal creami, is they smart idea?

      Hard to say. we haven't had any problems with it at all yet and it seems to run nice and cool... Then again, we haven't had it long enough to really be sure about that.

    Need help deciding which one, If im just trying to make 1 single serving (1 pint for me) can i make that with the deluxe. It seems like 1 pint of ice cream would be plenty for 1 person and 24 ounces (the deluxe) would be to much. With the deluxe can i make just 1 pint (16 ounces) at a time. It seems like eating part of the 24 ounces then refreezing and then respinning again next time is a paint compared to just having 1 pint at a time to eat.

    • @JoesPhenomenal

      Hi! On the Creami, if you don't already have one, I would just do the Deluxe. It does a lot more than the other models and the extra capacity is nice to have in case you need it. The deluxe has a feature where you can tell it to just process half of the container, so you can do that, scoop it out, and put the rest back in the freezer while it's still solid. That doesn't get defrosted or anything. They next time you use that same pint, you just tell the machine that it's only the lower half, and it does it no problem.

    Can you put the original pints in the Deluxe version?

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  ปีที่แล้ว

      The deluxe pints are wider and taller, so you can't. Also, the new version (the Breeze) attaches directly to the machine instead of a pitcher, so those won't transfer either as the design is different. So of the 3 main Creami machines, none of the pints are transferrable to any of the other machines, unfortunately.

    So what exactly is the difference between the one on the left vs the right, other than design? Seems like the exact same machine, just built differently.🤔 Also, does the newer one have a separate lid for the freezing step like the other two?

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  ปีที่แล้ว

      Heya, Benz. Yes... the Breeze has rubber lids for the pints also. For the most part, the breeze and the original do exactly the same stuff but the breeze just has a more refined design. Functionally the same though. Also, the breeze is a bit more quiet, too.

      The orignal Creami containers hold 2 cups, which is 1 pint, So the name "Creami Pint" made sense. However, when the Deluxe came out, that holds 3 cups, but they still keep calling the container a Creami Pint anyways. So on that one, the "pint" is actually 1.5 pints. Then on the Breeze, it's back to the original size again... lol. Nice and confusing. I wish they called that thing something different.

    None of the ice cream I make turns out. I have tried several different recipes, but they all turn out like powder. We have the delux 501 model. Very disappointing. We have added liquid as some have suggested, and sometimes it looks OK, but then as soon as you take out one serving, the other stuff underneath is powder...

      @kelliea5729 the difference between the lite and the regular ice cream is if you are using real sugar and cream you use the regular. For the lite, it's when you are using a sugar substitute and/or lower fat milks and creams and stuff.
