I've had mine for about six months and I still use it at least once a week. Some of our favourites have been orange creamsicle made with a can of oranges and a vanilla ice cream base, a vanilla key lime ice cream with biscoff cookie mix-ins and a lavender ice cream. Also try freezing hot chocolate, and tea lattes for a fun treat. For my chocolate ice cream, I switched to black cocoa powder for that richer flavour and deeper colour that we expect.

Hey honeysuckle! Hope you're having great day! A tip I found for the ice cream blending is when it becomes a Little crumbly then I add in a couple tablespoons of milk. This will make it extra creamy!

    • @gwagner1380
      @gwagner1380 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I have seen other product testers in TH-cam and it depends. Like in some cases the re-frozen stuff was perfect as it was but the base was closer to what a real, labor intensive ice cream recipe was. Like the one where you made the custard and all which defeats the purpose of the machine in making things easier and less time consuming.
But having said that, the simplicity of the machine is rather handy and quick all things considered so re-spining doesn't seem to me too much of a hassle. So if I can mix and match easy stuff and just spin it for no added effort, I would not mind because while I love going all fancy sometimes I just don't have the time to go all the way for a french ice cream custard.
I am still researching the product because in one vid the machine broke but it was because the TH-camr made a extra chunky, extra fat mix so it was outside a normal recipe but Honey does mention it heats up so maybe is no too far from reality so I'm trying to find more honest reviews because I would not like to buy something and then mid work, it overheats and breaks on first use.

    Hi, I adore my Creami..
    BUY This expensive Toy :D
My husband does not eat Dairy "well" so I only make
    FRUIT CREAMIs'
I Use Pineapple is always my base. If you know the Disney dole whip, straight pineapple is a classic Dole whip. I BUY TIDBITS (Hint)
I like to add some slices of Banana it adds a lot of body. (when banana's start getting brown spots, I toss them into my freezer skin and all.
    We then switch up between.
Apricots, pears, blueberries, strawberries and anything I find frozen of in fruit juice.
I save the juice and use it for my "re-spin"
Soyes it' nis expensive and marketed focused on ice cream BUT for those of us who dairy is not a friend. YUMMY This will be the best workhorse in your kitche.
Any Mom, with little ones, this is a must for you summer treats.

This is SUCH a gimmick. Anyone who has EVER made homemade ice cream before (either with an ice cream maker or just simply on your own with a blender and/or mixer) knows that the Ninja Creami is just a ridiculous trend that will be filling up the Goodwill stores shelves in a year. Seriously, I was stunned that she rated it so high. Especially, because by her own admission, it never fully mixed ANY of her flavors, there was still an icy consistency on some, and she had to wait 24 hours to begin to use the Ninja device. How is that different from my Cuisinart ice cream maker (which, during the summer is always stored in my freezer and is super easy to add my pre-blended ingredients to and walk away with a soft creamy bowl of ice cream/ same day. If you want to wait 24 hours, then just mix up the very same ingredients she did here and place it in a freezer-safe container to let it freeze for 24 hours, then (just like she did) let it thaw for a few minutes before scooping up a bowl of homemade ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yogurt. Both of these methods are easier and will yield better results than paying for this VERY mid but overly hyped "tool." As for the multi-tool thing - most of the other functionality that the Creami offers, you already get from the blender most of us own (and the Creami requires according to their own manual to get the smooth results to put into its overhyped container and whip system. You can make a smoothie or margarita just fine in your existing blender.
TL;DR You can pay half the price and get a delicious, stress-free result with the Cuisinart ice cream maker, or you can even spend ZERO $$$ on any of this stuff and just use your existing mixer or blender and mix up a batch of homemade ice cream yourself, store it in freezer safe container in your fridge for 24 hours, and still get better or the same results as the Creami. ;) Skip the trends, save ur money, save the planet, and don't be fooled by the trending PR machine. You're welcome. ;)

i heard quite bad things about the machine after longer use. ice cream gets stuck inside the lid when the rod retracts, and can't be cleaned, so after 3-5 months the lid begins to stink, and you risk stomach infections because the rod goes through this part of the lid again and into the icecream. Design Flaw par excellance.

Looks like the machine does relatively little of the overall work in making the ice cream when compared to all the work you have to do first before the machine is ever even involved in the process and it doesn't even mix all the way to the bottom of the container. I'd rather buy a real ice cream maker for less money and let IT do the work for me.

You make the ice cream with tools you already have, and then, because you run it in a blender for like 5 seconds , they call that blender 'ice cream maker".
