    I hope the B1G adds Florida State as a primary and whoever to join with them. The B1G has a serious problem with bad football teams. Adding Oregon, USC and Washington helps a little with competitiveness. Adding a North Carolina, Virginia or any other school not named Florida State is like adding more Minnesota's and Purdue's. I get that they want AAU. We don't need anymore bad football teams.

      As a NCState fan, I can assure you that unc is NOT a fb school, Not A football Fan base. I agree with you, why would Big10 add another U of Minn, by adding unc. BUT you need to go on these other blogs and say that- because all the unc hype and propaganda has Big10 Coveting unc! This really is about FOoTBALL, not lacrosse etc., not basketball, not some vague Brand smell good.

    NCSU is premier R1 Research school. Largest in NC, has premier Centenial Campus. Great in all sports incuding directors cup, has a passionate sec like fan base in FB. Many sec fans and insiders consider NCState a much better sec fit than unc.

    • @tarheel7406
      @tarheel7406 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      a) UNC does twice the research than NCSTATE measured by dollars/
      b) The pair are in the same metro area.
      c) NCSTATE has never finished Top 10 in the D-Cup.
      No one takes NCSTATE over UNC. NCSTATE needs to sell itself as an "in addition to".

      NCSU is a much better fit in the SEC. Big emphasis on football and close cultural kinship. UNC people sneer at SEC schools as being inferior, cow colleges. UNC types are like vegans wanting to tell everyone that they are a public Ivy. Very poor fit. And to make matters worse, they have no following in football so they would be a financial burden. They are the public Vanderbilt.

    The fact that everyone wants FSU on the Big 10 is the reason they’ll be IN the SEC ,

      FSU should be in the SEC ( along with Clemson, UNC and UVA). ACC adds Tulane and Memphis, and the Big 10 stands pat. The problem is ESPN United the two sides of FSU. How?They angered the FSU fan base and boosters because of the playoff, when the academic side already favored the Big 10. That is why they will choose the Big 10.

    • @jansonroberts2616
      @jansonroberts2616 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@davidbrown386 I get what you’re saying but Memphis isn’t getting an invite unless there is a massive exodus by most or all of the current ACC schools. USF would be the first and foremost add to keep the state of Florida in the ACC. Tulane would definitely be a more serious candidate depending on how many schools leave the ACC. Memphis is an awesome university but they do not have everything that the ACC will be looking for in replacements. Oregon State and Washington State would be more realistic candidates as would Navy and Army.

      Sec does not want FSU, or need FSU, or need Another Fla footprint. Although FSU has been trying to act as if they were going to Big10 in hopes of making SeC nervous about Big10 gaining a Fla footprint.

      @@robertgibbs6480I presume that you are trolling. FSU and ND are the only two schools not in a P2. Both highly sought commodities. Viewership is the new currency of college football. Eyeballs = Money. The more eyeballs, the more money. The chance to pick up a Top 10 school won’t come around again for years, maybe decades. Oh, and virtually no one in the FSU world wants to have anything to do with ESPN, so that solves the SEC being under consideration. FSU is the premiere football program in the state of Florida. They control their destiny.
