Getting hit at the face is one thing, but when I see elite fighters fold over from a devastating liver shot, I feel so sorry for them. You can tell that it's not the kind of pain that you can just bear and grit your teeth through. It shuts you down.
Oh trust me, I’ve been hit to the liver… it really shuts you down and there’s nothing you can do… it hurt for 3 weeks and some change haha

Edit: theres a lot more exciting match up for Bam at 115 against Martinez, Ioka or Tanaka. All this fighters loves to fight toe to toe. There’s a reason why they’re so great at boxing but of course they’re also American & I believe Mexican-Americans are better than Mexican born fighters. Oscar beat Chavez. Benavidez beats Canelo. Bam bested El Gallo & so on. Americans also have the right to claim them but Bam is proud of his Mexican roots.

I was there tonight, unbelievable fight in person. These two had Footprint Center ROCKING. Great bout from both champions.

No podemos dejar de lado, que a pesar de que es 10 años más viejo el gallo, logró tumbarlo y meterle buenos golpes. Espero que el gallo no se sienta tan mal por esta derrota, pues el tiempo pasa en el deporte y no perdona, pero aún así dio una gran batalla. Ese chico León tiene un excelente futuro, tiene todo el estilo mexicano en su boxeo (el gancho al hígado lo dice todo).
