can we have the recipe for the black templars pleaseeeeeeee
Thanks for the discount code... my minis will look even better now!
"I wanna go to bed..." ... SAID THE HERETIC!!!
I love how Nick clearly looks rougher and rougher with each day that passes, and yet Jay stays looking the same. Bro is built to be a basement lurker working on no sleep lmao
A true 40k fan
Same here
Man these Jay v Nick ones are such a fun ride. Y'all are really just doing your thing, and it's nice
I hope they do more like this. They have good energy
Honestly, I'm hoping they do more of this. Before this video, my favorite was the "you're doing Warhammer wrong" one where they said to always paint with a friend.
There's something about Jay's enthusiasm that's nothing short of infectious, it's like he has the spirit of a child telling you about his sandcastle and all the effort that went into it.
If this were a tv show, Nick would be the likable underdog. Jay the talented and pompous protagonist, and Sean the enigmatic villain.
Easily best Leviathan video out there. Since the pile of shame was small, your punishment is watch a movie.
May I suggest Startship Troopers to get into the mood.
@MeAndSomeRandoms after The Brave Little Toaster of course.
A round of applause for Nick!! Excellent looking marines, love that orange and not having regularly painted for a bit they turned out excellent!! 👏👏👏
And Jay did good too I guess.
Jay's painting skills are immaculate, that tyranid army was beautiful!!! (If youre going to praise one, just praise the other)
I once ordered a rueben at Culvers just to try something different. It was a perfectly acceptable rueben, but watching my wife devour her delicious butterburger, I realized that I chose poorly. Never again.
An unforgivable mistake
Worked at Culver's for 5 years and never found an item I didnt love
I like Nick's Fanta Menace Marines.
Jay is such a painting machine; his point jobs are excellent, and his bases really add to the Tyranids.
Super happy to see another Jay and Nick challenge face-off on the channel- there’s officially a trilogy of them now.
What are the other 2? Not sure if I've seen them
@@joelgoodson4802 There's the one they did for AoS 3.0, something like "Why you can't paint alone". The third one, I don't know.
@@joelgoodson4802 Yeah, there's the Age of Sigmar one and then the 10,000 pt. Necron v Orks army repainting
Jay casually speedpainting the best looking termies on TH-cam 😂
They were so good
Me: *sees desk under stairs* honestly, bathroom noises aside, thats kind of a dope hobby setup"
*Camera pans to floor*
Me: " Damn, gurl, y'all live like this?! " Lol
8:51 Jay in the back priming or something is hilarious 😂
Insane results on the marines given the time frame, Jay, particularly those terminators.
Hope you enjoy camels up. A great little game.
Wish I had the skill to crack out the Leviathan in a quick time like you guys.
It's a little bit easier to do when it's your literal job!
That's some FANTA-astic work, you madlads! Doing freehand during a timed challenge, and here I am with some unfinished Indomitus models still...
HEHE. FANTAtastic. Hehehe
I drove across breadth of America sampling road offerings along the way. Culvers is the clear standout by a country mile. I live in the Netherlands now and still dream of the Culvers Butter Burger.
It’s not even close. I will not go anywhere else I’ll just wait until I’m home to get food.
Wow. I’m surprised Games Workshop didn’t send you some copies considering you are 40k’s greatest champion. I have to say you are my go to channel for 40k and the tabletop hobby. GW show this man some love. He deserves it.
They won't. He wanted to stay honest and didn't sign their NDA.
@@sleeplessknight99 Personally I’m not a fan of Games Workshop. I choose to spend my money supporting other games companies. Not tyrannical money hungry vampires looking to drain you of every last cent.
Shawn in the back with his Lord Solar Leontus gonna destroy both Jay and Nick with their Leviathan boxes lol
It was great to put a face with the name that Jay always shakes his fist at. LOL
OMG, I have been working on the Leviathan box for 3 days now, and I only have 15 models built. 😳 You guys rocked it! I love the Orange Marines, and I can't wait to see you fine tune that scheme. Ok, now back to work...
I got scared when you went outside, but I'm glad you're ok!
Your punishment for failure is you must paint 2000 points of Tau
That’s too far
I know these types of videos are lots of fun to watch, but I could never go through that torture test of modeling. For me, painting is a stress relief and time where I can get out of my head and into another world if even for an hour or two. But thanks, Jay and Nick, for keeping my interest in modeling and wargames going strong with your awesome content!
I’m with you, dude. I get that this is their job and this is entertaining to watch and be part of, but I’d never do it either. However, I did take a lot of good ideas for my own painting and assembling from this. Both Nick and Jay have accessible recommendations!
Part of me feels inspired to do a 15 hour paint day. The other part of me is afraid that
I just might die if I tried. You two are beasts!
We need more Nick! He’s a great personality and his smile is infectious.
Jay is an absolute machine when it comes to mini painting.
You guys are Wisconsinites too? This channel somehow just got even better!
So you need a punishment if you fail? Shaun is right there, whoever fails has to be Shaun's valet for the day - like Jeeves from Jeeves and Wooster. Or his maid, I ain't picky.
Mortarion walking into his garage.
"Hey Morty, I'm on the desk. Flip me over. I'M PICKLE NID!"
Sorry, had to be done. I'll show myself out.
10:46 that mannequin hand in the back killed me
I look for it in every EoB video. 😂
That's actually really amazing that you guys could get so many models done in such a short amount of time. True professionals!
Brill video, love to see a video on how you speed painted up them Tyranids, brilliant bases also. adds so much to the models having a lovely detailed base also!
Orange marines = Covenant of Fire. 2 bonuses with them; sons of vulkan are easy to paint unhelmeted faces, just grey base then oil wash. Bonus points for red eyes.
Then you can use old (Horus heresy) Word Bearer transfers for the logo and just cover the skull in ivory!! I think a few came with the old non-posable plastic Contemptor kit.
watching you build an entire box while I put together a single miniature is so much fun
Just primed them
Seeing Miller park in the packground just made you my favorite painter TH-camr. Go Brewers and Go Culvers 🤘
Mr Pickle made my day! Thanks and congrats on tackling this project!
Nick is the cutest thing ever and we need to protect him at all costs.
Heck yea! Seeing more behind the scenes stuff is dope!
The best videos are the Jay and Nick videos. Loved watching you guys work on the minis on twitch
As much as I love watching the regular content, those rate videos with Nick in them are something else. You guys have a great chemistry.
Aww man this feels like an old video! Love it guys. You always make more work for yourselves! lmfao
Another cracking video! Can't believe it's been 2years since nick did the blue ork army challenge! He's still got it though!
Thanks for the effort guys! Stunning paint jobs all round, can't believe how good your fast paint schemes have become!
All the loves! ❤ More nick please! (Jay is still my fave but have missed the nick face! 😂)
Great effort. It's true that you don't realise how much work goes into this until you're on a deadline. Amazed at what great results you both got from contrast and speedpaints
Wow!!! He really came out great!!! I’m working on a Salamander army, and the sand paper is a great idea for the fire drakes scales!!! Thanks for the idea!!!😊
I love it, that Nick is part of a painting challenge again :D it is allways nice to have him there to.
Having Nick paint is a welcome addition to the videos. Hope it continues. Those orange marines look great.
This video deserves way more views!!! This is classic TH-cam and made me smile the whole way through 😊
It's not two idiots. It's just two Silly Little Guys™ having a good time painting minis!
Love these videos with you both doing the challenge ❤ Dominion and the 40k armies videos were some of your best.
I love these styles of vids from y'all! These always make me excited to paint my own gray army
11:54 "Look, Morty. I turned myself into a pickle. I'm Pickle Niiiiiiiid"
You guys smashed it considering the time limit! I only got the ballistus dread and the new apothecary, the latter of which has taken me three days to do alongside a unit of desolators 😂 Also love seeing Nick in the videos!
I just painted up a parasite of Mortrex. Fun mini to paint and my first Tyranid!
Good job on the paint, gives me some good ideas for mine. Thx.
Great video. I am currently painting my first 1,000 pt army of Chaos Space Marines to jump into 10th; and this gave me a much needed second wind to keep painting!
Love these videos with both of you in, y'all keep it up!
More vids like this please, love it.
That was a hard hitting awesome video, Jay is a painting machine
The Fanta Marines look amazing. Very stunning. I've been on the fence with getting into 40k with Kill Team and playing orks, and I love that the lore is so vast it encourages whatever paint job you want to play. My main wargame experience was LOTR and Star Wars Legion, where painting anything other than canon colors feels so wrong to me.
Woot woot! I think this type of video is your best. It’s great to see Nick in front of the camera, and that backseat swag lord. Lol
Guys i'm telling you, you definetly have to make more videos likes this. These videos are the best to watch
I absolutely love your channel, my main motivation for painting
Yeaaaaah NICK I love it when he gets involved
I love how some channels are like "we'll realistically need a year to finish this box", and the EOB squad does two in 5 days 😂
i feel like a kid again watching this, watching things i cannot get, but makes me so happy!!!
I also wanted to make an orange space marines chapter in a similar vein! Could I have a more precise recipe? Also for Jay's Tyranid scheme, really cool!
Couldn't wait to see your approach to Leviathan and can't wait for the terrain video!
Love starting my day off with an EonsOfBattle vid!
I'm sure it's been pointed out before, but that Leviathan box art looks exactly like Sc2: Wings of Liberty art and SC1 art (with the marine contrasted against the hydralisk).
Screamer-Killers aren't psykers, it's okay we still love you.
I saw Jay pull off that water and ink method to pin wash. Must try! Great idea and thanks for showing it again.
Over the long weekend I was able to take a Death Guard kill team from Primed to 90% Painted :)... Just have to touch up a few places and do the bases. im so stoked on a project comming together. great work guys
Well done on the challenge! Punishment should be you sit to finish and do not stop until you are done. :D
this was a fun video. even found some columns for my custodes bikes to get glued to for a flying effect from that epic basing store
I would love a video just on basing, giving different ways to do bases or how to make bases compliment the models on them
The ballistus dreadnought looks RIDICULOUSLY cool! Those candles are awesome!
Always inspirational to see a big project knocked out in quick time. I was skeptical about that orange until the final finished group shots, but it worked. Now I wonder what their Fanta-stic insignia should be.
Love this video. These guys are obviously having so much fun
Sean in the backseat like "no matter what you build, Jay will lose" 🤣
Always a quality watch when you fellas do a challenge
I painted my Screamer Killer in the albino scheme from Midwinter Minis, different from the rest, to make it stand out as a genetic defect and it looks awesome. I love the new minis. Have fun painting the rest. :)
This was awesome! Nicely painted armies 2 😊
honestly just be nice to see a video of you guys finishing your remaining models without a time limit and getting them to 100% happy / complete
Nicks Harry Potter desk cracks me up! Well done gents!! Pickle screamer killer!!! Both your painting looks amazing!!! Thanks gents!! Fantastic as always!!!
Me too. 😂
love all the paint jobs. Great colour choices. Must say thought that Orange Soda Nids cracks me up. lol
I was in the painting stream over on your twitch channel the night before the release...
All I saw was the title/tumbnail to know I'm in for an awsome ride!
Thanks for all your hard work put into the hobby, you all seem like wonderful people!
(Does this comment include Sean ...)
Those orange marines looked great! 👍
Jay's BT's were great too, of course, but we expect that by now. 😊
My tip for picking out the inbetweeny armour bits - don't, just treat them like any other bit of armour. By the year 40,000 I'm sure they'll have invented coloured rubber. Cos, ya know, we have already, so, ya know.
(Of course, if you *want* to pick them out, go for it!)
When he poured those sprues out, I expect a giant book to follow and smash them! 😂
Amazing paint job! I wish I had 5 days for painting only but I am sure I would not finish half of the models you did!!!
Great video guys 😌👏 Lovely painted minis btw 🎉
Great video man, you really managed to max them out during just 5 days! Impressive!
Wisconsin! Space Badgers....just gonna leave that there, lol.
i love the behemoth theme ! so simple yet so nailed !
I have watched this video 3 times and have always enjoyed it very single time
he turned a screamer killer carnafex into a pickle. funniest thing ive ever seen.
I really enjoyed this video. Great stuff!!!
I love your armies.❤
Hellll yeahhhhh, what a great effort boys! This got me pumped!!!
Love the collab videos, punishment should be a battle report with the painted models
The Tyranids are like the Orks?! Ar' you inn need for somm krumpin' you punie humi?!😉
Finally a small studio tour!
Nick is back and shaen as well! Crazy video
